GPS Jammed, FPV Plane nearly lost.

- Currently INAV will autoland the UAV if you are in navigation mode (like Return To Home) and GPS is suddenly lost.
So you have to be well aware and real quick if this happens in flight.
INAV 6.1
Dual camera OpenIPC setup.
wfb-ng for the video transmission. qOpenHD for the OSD.
No, it was not the ship that jammed the GPS. The latter was unstable during the whole flight. The problem occurred when I tried to keep the ship in focus of the camera and got below the horizon, which distorted the video and made me engage RTH (return to home). Had I engaged RTH at a different moment during the flight, I could have experienced the same issue.
I was about 100 meters above the sea; it's the zoom camera that gives a false perception of proximity. There's no way the under-manned ship crew spotted me unless someone was staring at the sky with binoculars instead of using them to look at the girls on the beach...
Yes, GPS signal gets jammed on purpose, if you still don't believe this, check here:

Maybe you are being beemed by the ship directional radar.
The ship's radar seems turned off. The GPS coverage was bad the whole day, my other planes also struggled to get a lock.
@@tipoman9317 the one that you saw is the sweep type. Directional will focus in the direction of your plane. The same thing has been reported by our fpv member. But i might be wrong.
wonderful work 🙌🏽
made it look easy 😎
what control link are you using?
ELRS 868Mhz, the Tx was set to 10mW only
@@tipoman9317 respect.
where is this?
I experienced same is palestine, plane went into emergency landing. on ground GPS works but once launched the plane GPS lost.
waiting for dead reckoning feature in INAV8, it's very important
That will not work very well. iNav has used adopted EKF3 features from Ardupilot so this feature is available now in Ardupilot. You cash even disable GPS on a TX switch to test it. The directional accuracy very quickly degrades without any input from GPS. It can get you facing the right direction but I doubt it would ever get you home. Our hobby grade inertial sensors probably are not good enough.
@@marcdornan1454 okay. I think it's useful because it will give me more time to take manual control instead of the current behavior which goes into emergency landing.
How did you get that OSD?
its qopenhd
