  • Hi.
In this weeks video, Sam, Ray and I went on a quick trip to Frankfurt to the Automechanika show. It’s somewhere I’ve always wanted to visit, so I was pretty excited to go.
We saw lots of fantastic developments in engine reconditioning machines and I had my eye on a cnc honer by Rottler. Hopefully one day I’ll be able to order one, we will see.
Hope you enjoy the video, please give it a thumbs up and leave a comment.
    Much appreciated.
    James and Sam.

While I assume that, as a mechanical engineer, you are not likely into maintenance and repair of EVs (I might be wrong, of course) I just wondered if there there were electrical and mechanical production and testing machines being demonstrated for EVs. Maybe the reduced mechanical complexity in EVs means that mechanical maintenance is just not as big an issue.
Thanks for the video, it was interesting and the machines were very impressive, even if I don't fully understand the details.

@@roygardiner2229 I don't know anything about EVs apart from there not great, and probably worse for the environment than internal combustion engines. It was a very interesting place, just need to win the lottery now. Thanks Roy
