Great video man! Looks like you got caught up in that October blast we had. We are in Peachland and had about a foot and a half in 24 hours, I was like dang, thats not gonna be too fun for all the guys with trailers. Great way to clear out the nose hairs lol. Keep up the sweet work, looking forward to your next adventure!🤟😎
About 10 years ago we replaced the woodstove with a Big Buddy Heater. Haven't looked back. Has your wall tent started shrinking yet? Ours is a Deluxe wall tent as well. We finally decided to shave about 2" off the vertical legs in order to have the side canvas properly touch the ground.
@@skyedge6158 We bring a carbon monoxide detector with us, but no... We've never had an issue with it. For a 7-day hunting trip we will bring 2 x 30lb propane tanks. If the outside temp is -10C or colder, we will run the heater on the highest setting. Anything warmer we will lower the setting. If you're just doing a 2-night trip, you only need 1 x 20lb propane tank. Here's a link to our 2019 hunting trip. In it, you'll see our tent set up and the shelf system I designed to allow our electronics stay warm enough to be charged. Batteries do not like cold temps when charging and the shelf system solves that. Cheers. ua-cam.com/video/z7XiKfzcI0Y/v-deo.html
propane heat adds moisture inside though. woodstove is way better. i used a buddy heater in my suv all the time, but in the tent, woodstove is the cat's ass. nowadays the buddy heater is for sitting in the blind.
I just started using bbq lighter fluid in my wall tent stove. Works amazing and not nearly as combustible as gas. I also light it with a small butane torch attached to those green propane canisters. Great vids btw.
Great vid as usual. Too bad no buck on this one. I lucked out this year and managed a 2 pt first 5 min into any buck season. Glad I took the 2 pt because it was the last buck I saw for 7 days. Loads of fun though.
Cinematography skills are coming along great there Schuyler! This was really well edited. Shame you didn’t bag anything but looked like a wicked time!!
Great video buddy. Excellent editing between the hunting groups. Clarity is amazing. Are you using a GoPro? I was out on Whipsaw and the same wintery conditions. Freaking cold, sign everywhere but all we saw were does too. Back from Tunkwa yesterday and no buck. So 4 pointer it is!
Go pro for the "action shots" and my cannon rebel sl2 for most of the really crisp stuff. We are in the same boat buddy. Good luck in Nov with a 4 pt ! They are out there.
Excellent.
Great video, i also was there nearby same time last Oct
5 gallon pail of saw dust. Mix in some diesel fuel. Keep it in your garage.. that is a way better fire starter for the stove then gas!
At least you were honest about gas in a hippie burner, way to funny. Good job, enjoy the video.
Timber go in the timber
Great Video Sky!! Looking forward to seeing how the rest of the season goes...

Thanks buddy. Congrats on the buck. They say dont pass on the first day what you would be happy to shoot on the last! How true it is
Another great video!
Thanks! It was a fun trip.
I was in cache creek last week and there was just way too much snow. Even the locals said they never seen snow like this.

Hey man. Thanks! Trying different camera angles makes it more interesting to film as well. Always good getting out.
What gun do you use

The deer don't stand a chance against that moustache. Run Bambi run.
