Awesome buck man those quick downs are bitter sweet because the huntings over but always grateful for the harvest. I would recommend packing a few pulleys and carabiners, weighs about a pound and can give you an easy 4 to 1 when in a pinch. Thanks for the vid!!
Great hunt! To save you some grunt work I’d hang a pulley off your meatpole. A rope to spreader bar on hind legs tied through pulley to your truck bumper makes it painless to hang.
Nice buck dude! In my opinion you have the best hunting channel on UA-cam, please keep sharing! If possible, I would like to see more details on how you prepare to hunt, how you choose the area, how you set up the camp, what equipment you take and why. Many thanks again!
For sure thought your paper plate was going to fold up with all that food on there! 😂 Awesome video once again, congrats on the awesome Whitetail buck!
I was curious what region you’re in. I mostly have ever hunted in the chilcoltin and not much for white tails there I’m trying to learn where to find more white tails From what I’ve herd region 4 and 8 is better chances. Sweet video and my family and I have used sumas meats for many years amazing people
Haha thanks Applecake. This one was a good hunt, but as you know they aren't all like this ! I have plenty of hunts that are less exciting, but all good in their own way. And yes that buck is a dandy for sure. Hope to catch up with him next year !
Love your Vids man. As always, great job! So whens the "Take a UA-cam subscriber hunting" contest? I'm in! Keep it up bud. That Heartiyaki looked money!
@skyedge6158 I’m not trying to get you to divulge your spots. But as a new hunter, and a hunter who is interested in finding a good spot for white tails. I’m very curious about what your process is for finding new spots. Any tips would be appreciated. Love the local BC content. Keep it up!
Hey thanks for the comment. My process has been long and arduous. Lots of trips over the years. Most times i ran into Whitetail through luck, just seeing the big white flag bouncing away. They can be found in more and more places, but further east seems to be a safe bet.
Hey thanks for the comment. I'm quite happy with the Tent. Only critique is the stove pipe support system is a little bit wimpy. The tent itself is great 👍.
Nice buck! Nothin wrong with shooting a small buck. I usually shoot the first one I see if the freezers empty. Sometimes the first ones a big one, sometimes not. I enjoy the meat and the adventure the most. Cheers
Nice big-bodied deer, nothing wrong with that. Will be tastier than my tag soup i'm having this year. Shitty that you lost a cam. It's worth looking around nearby, in the spring. I've had a bear tear one from a tree before. They usually leave it lying fairly close. The snow was insane this year.
Good video! Having never used a trail cam, I'm a little confused. I assume in that location there wasn't a cellular connection for the trail cams to send their pictures to you remotely in advance of your hunt - and if that's the case, and you were only checking the cameras AFTER you'd already harvested your deer, I guess I'm led to wonder how useful the cams actually were to you in that situation?
Haha fair comment. Cell cameras are not allowed during hunting season, but regardless, it is a great way to gather information on the area you will be hunting. Also, they are just a lot of fun!! You never know what you will see. Going up to check the cams is nearly as exciting as the hunt itself : )
hey man, congrats on the buck! Quick question. What model of badlands bino harness do you use? I'm in the market for a new bino harness, last one crapped out on me. I know Badlands make good products. Hope to hear from you. Again congrats on the deer.
Hey dude. Thanks for watching the video. That was a great hunt. I wish I knew which model badlands bino harness I have... I like it but one flaw would be the magnetic lid slams shut sometimes which creates more noise than I'd like it to. Otherwise it's pretty good. Lots of brands to choose from these days
What advice do you have for hunting whitetails. The area I’m checking out has a mix of natural fields and thick pine forest with burns mixed throughout. Would you hunt the borders of the forest or go into the forest? Any advise is appreciated,I’m hunting whitetails for the first time this fall in region three.
Hey, thanks for the comment and for watching the vids. Sounds like some good habitat to me. I've heard whitetails are fringe animals which means they prefer the areas where different terrain features meet. Lower elevations, valley bottoms or riverbeds I hear are good as well. "Still hunting" white tails is tough so perhaps finding prominent game trails and sitting/ waiting with favorable wind is the best bet. A few trail cams will help you gather info on the area. Good luck and let me know how it goes !
Love to get success after a lot of days struggling but I also don't mind those first day bucks 😆 Should get yourself one of the gambrel hoists with the brake on it I hunt by myself alot and that thing is a back saver when you want to get your deer hung in one piece Got my one at cabelas
I think it would be the coolest thing ever to bump into Sky up the mountain!! 😅 -------------------------------------- SUMAS MEATS! The best in the business!! Shoutout to Ullie Krack and his team!!
@@omaralzubaidy908 despite some success shown in my videos, I'm not that great of a hunter!! I'd recommend joining your local fish and game club where you will meet a bunch of hunters and likely find yourself a great hunting partner ! Keep me posted on how your first season goes. Plan for some spring bear as a start
Man it’s always a good day when Sky posts. Keep it up my friend
Appreciate that! Thanks for watching

Thank you for showing the details to gutting and the legal requirements in BC. Good hunting!
It's always so enjoyable when watching your videos
Awesome ! Glad u enjoy em
Thanks again for sharing your adventure. Excellent job. Nice buck. Wall tent is great, 4 of us share it during a 10 day fishing trip to Port Hardy.
Great Video! I really like the guy standing on his hind legs at 15:00ish. Super cool!
Thanks !
