    Han Command is the nemesis of this deck: you have the possibility to put in the main deck up to 3 Spark of Rebellion, 2-3 Bodhis Rook (if you are using only 2... Put the third copy in your side deck), and the 3 copies of U-Wing Reinforcements for search the Bodhis. Actually, I'm running cards like Bright Hope/Pirated Starfighter just for reset the Bodhis. I really want to pay 5 against Hard Control decks.

      @iamwooooo  Місяць тому +1

      Off aspect Bodhi is interesting. I think the Vader deck is in a good position to deal with the midrange stuff that the Han Command deck relies on to close games, but if you can snipe enough of their answers with Spark/Bodhi, you could get there for sure.

    I went 3-0 with Luke Green this weekend. First opponent was Vader Blue. In this matchup you have to play almost like aggro, trying to get in as much damage as possible before 8 resources. U-Wing Reinforcement is great for after the Superlaser to rebuild and have guys to chump for Avenger. Hopefully by that point you’ve done enough damage to finish him off. Bright Hope is also great for de-Trenching your guys.

    Great video as always! In Red Chirrut do you think Regional Governor is viable, maybe in the sideboard? Or out of aspect Spark of Rebellion feels better? or both lol

    • @iamwooooo
      @iamwooooo  Місяць тому +1

      Governor is definitely viable, although maybe not completely necessary. Spark for 4 is probably too slow though.

    Good thoughts: Upgrade removal (Power Failure, Disabling Fang Fighter), card denial (Regional Governor if you're playing Vigilance, Bodhi and Spark of Rebellion if you're playing Cunning), shutting down the late game (Relentless). Also Saboteurs also blow right by all those Sentinels. Oh and don't forget Restock which essentially neuters the discard option for Vader.

    What do you think about Pirated Starfighter in Boba? Can deal with Entrenched on a unit and also allows some sneaky plays with the Firespray.

    • @iamwooooo
      @iamwooooo  Місяць тому +1

      Main issue with the entrench situation is that it's often being used to lock down the leader, so Pirated Starfighter can't work for that. I think the Starfighter is an interesting card, but I'm not sure the targets exist yet for the Boba Green deck. Could be worth a try!

  • @Frzentundra
    @Frzentundra Місяць тому

    what are your thoughts on using power failure instead of the disabling fang fighter. The fang fighter defeat an upgrade vs power failure defeats any number of upgrades on a unit. Great video.

    • @iamwooooo
      @iamwooooo  Місяць тому +2

      The only thing I'm really concerned with when playing vs the Vader deck is the Entrenched, and you also need to be applying pressure vs them. That's where fang fighter shines - you get to keep adding pressure while answering the entrench. Power failure does remove all experience counters on Childsen though, and it's an interesting angle.

    • @jeffsmith5436
      @jeffsmith5436 Місяць тому +1

      Both are good but the Vader Control player has NO way to interact with the Power Failure, but he can take out the Fang. Also PF removes ALL upgrades (smacks Childsen right in the face), not just one.

    Hi wooooo,
    There is one way to deal with Vader Blue. Pretty much every Villainy Command deck will defeat Vader Blue 80-90% of the time. Ramp with Resupply and Superlaser Technician into Vader and Relentless and the game is over for Vader Blue most of the time.
    What do you think of my Deck? I beat Vader Control most of the time. Unfortunately it struggles against some Meta Aggro Decks.

    Hi wooooo, thanks for the timely video.
    I’m on the palpatine blue wagon and I played against vader red in a local event and the match-up felt unfavored (my list was not tuned for the match up).
    I think the game plan could be to ramp into galactic ambition and relentless… you can do this as soon as turn 4, I believe. Del meeko can help tax them once relentless is out.
    I think the galactic ambition plan might be worth for boba as well.
    I would appreciate your input!

    • @iamwooooo
      @iamwooooo  Місяць тому +1

      Galactic Ambition seems like a decent idea, but you will definitely need to have a response to their entrench if you go that route. But an early relentless can definitely mess with them, especially if you're ramping it out! I think you might be on to something.
