Qi'ra Tarkintown is an interesting spin that I've been trying out, Fifth Brother, Death Watch Loyalist, and Krrsantan synergise really well with Qi'ra's ability. The loss of ramp and OB hurts, but it's puts out a lot more damage.

You're another person talking about turbolaser and i feel like you're quite underestimating it. I'm afraid many people talking about it are missing a part when card says: "deal damage equal to its power to EACH of enemy units in that arena". so lets say i have 6 power ship and i play vs ground aggro: at 7 resource turn i wipe all oponent's ground with that card... and most importantly it is command only: you can play it in both vilain and heroic decks. old han green? at 4 res turn some high attack ship, to wipe oponents whole arena next turn? you want bossk green? why not. Or maybe some blue green vilain control? add some pilots to more consistently stay on a curve plus overwhelming barrage... looks quite powerful for me. Except it's not enough for legendary rarity. More like strong rare (i remind you overwhelming barage is uncommon :) )

Phasma ecl you ambush kylo ren and give phasma plus 2 and now you're hitting base for 7 plus the ping on a unit. Looks really fun.

I expected you to be hyped over Thermal Oscillator! As soon as I saw that I thought of you and your deck thinning hype back in our Marvel Champions days. 😄

Great video as always. I would like to get your thoughts on the teammate concession though. I have heard on other tournament reports similar things happening between teammates. Whilst it was kind of your mate to do it, and also not in your control (assuming he just conceded and therefore not colluding between players) it does seem to harm the integrity of the tournament. There surely would have been plenty of other players desperate to prize who also hadn’t previously won a PQ right? Do you think it was fair?

Thank you for your video! I just won a showdown in my city with Qira ECL. Little change i did, put the 2 snokes on SB, put 1 extra maul in the main and 2 takedowns in the main removing one gunship as well.

Great video. For the sideboard, what cards are you taking out of the maindeck to replace?

I ran 2x First Light in my T4 PQ double blue Krennic deck. With plenty of beefy units (client, Lom Pyke, Devastating Gunship, Childsen), this card got me wins! I even damaged Pershing one game and swung in with 5 for the kill.

Colossus should be a great home Anakin too. It has plenty of ways to make up the card defiect (kuil, driod pair. Yoda. And steela) and he already was a heavy t1 play deck. And +5 hp means more power and you can sit a higher dmg comfortably and having a +10 hp difference to the 25 hp bases is pretty huge

Chimaera can enters ready if you have a motti on the board, its the new firespray for thrawn😅.

My thoughts with the spoilers we have so far: I am HYPED for set 4. Looks like it will shake things up a lot, and even if it doesn't I think there's a lot of fun things to play with already

I love the idea behind Rio but I'm thinking the same as you, it's asking an aggro deck to take it's foot off the gas Wich is not what aggro want nor how it works in this game. The +1 is not enough for 1 ressources even with the saboteur trait. Especially since the unit needs to be a transport to even receive the buff

Paige Tico I think actually will see play if a double blue hero deck is good. There are currently no 3 power turn 1 plays in blue hero. The only 3 power turn 1 play it would have access to is phase 1 clone trooper which doesn’t work well with Kuill.

I feel like commandeer will be good vs pilot leaders. You can steal the ship before they can deploy on them. Forcing them to either delay the flip or play a ship and then deploy on exhausted unit

Colossus with Yoda double blue makes a lot of sense for me. Because of Yoda unit and Kuil, you are my only hope, Yoda’s power to manage the draw… you have great built in deck draw sources to afford this base. And when you double down with 3 vigilance in the deck + all the restores, this is going to be a real grind for your opponent.

Nothing has some favorable machups against good Han1 yellow players. Against average opponents it can be good but at the same skill level the Han1 yellow has the machup against anything (Bossk green player here)

Dryden was ok in limited(if you actually pull him). I pulled him off in draft once. In set 2 draft, there was a decent amount of capture happening. Being a legendary, good luck getting him in draft.

New Thrawn might use Morgan as a sac outlet

If you control force unit, you would rather force throw, than force lightning. You know what would fix Force Lightning - Chose Unit, it loses all of their abilities and then deal 2 damage to it. If you control force unit, pay any number of resources, to deal extra 2 damage per resource. It would be then like Daring Raid, but without option to damage base, and still require force unit to do something extra, like Force Throw.

When you said "Swarm, swarm, swarm, swarm, swarm" I felt that.

Great list! Caught in the Crossfire is one I have my eye on. There aren't a lot of two-fer removal cards yet and Hero don't have access to Overwhelming Barrage, so might be useful there. It does sort of hinge of the board state though so understandable why it isn't seeing play, even though it has decent blowout potential.
