Thanks for highlighting this. Both are useful in different cases and its important to not box yourself in. Duik also has an easy switch between IK and FK. It's a great technique to achieve the best result for your shot.
I have just discovered your channel, new to AE, and just discovered your course. I checked it out but it is not accepting students. When will the course be open?
Until you haven't tried something you don't know what you are missing....also coming from years of After Effects rigs and ofc I still do Everything in After but the characters are png seq exported from Moho and only composed there...
@@CaptainItalia12 Unless Moho has improved in the last year or so. I didn't find it to be much less buggy than AE.I'll admit, the rigging tools are all great, and I can't remember what they call thier version of sliders (smart bones or something?) is cool but when I was trying out Moho I ran into a lot of buggy issues. Also, the process for importing artwork from a program like Illustrator was horrendous. Hopefully they've improved that because I didn't like the drawing tools within Moho. I also didn't find the playback to be that much faster than AE (one of the main reasons I wanted to switch because AE will seemingly slow down for no reason) If they've improved the stability and the some of the workflow issues, I'd be willing to take another look.

First of all: You should use Moho 🎉❤
Nah, I find After Effects plenty good for my needs.

@@CaptainItalia12 Hey now... you shouldn't make assumptions. Whats that saying? I've tried Moho, I'm still sticking with After Effects.
