Special Thanks to Kineko Video for scanning this!
A short animated cartoon featuring the characters from the B.C. comic strip by Johnny Hart.
Originally apart of a TV Show, "The Curiosity Shop".
A win for the B.C. fandom! Glad to finally see this in its full form :)
I'm a big "B.C."/Johnny Hart fan, but I've never seen this before! Thanks for sharing!
Sadly, no intact episodes of "Curiosity Shop" are known to exist -- a tragedy and a travesty!
5:17 - Charlie Chaplin himself was still alive when this gag was used! I wonder if he ever saw it...?
Oh dang, this is finally up! Thanks for uploading.
I knew of it for a while!
Gracias y felicidades, hermosa joya 💯👍
I didn’t even know there were bc animated shorts made for the curiosity shop
You learn something new everyday
What’s even more interesting is that Abe Levitow would later direct another bc animated short called bc the first thanksgiving
Perhaps this short is what paved the way for that special
The opening theme was also heard in the Professor Kitzel carttons.
Quick, Get Brad Jones to review this lost 'B.C.' gem!
what? i didn't even know this existed. thanks
Thanks for uploading this!
Honestly, this is one of chuck jones's better post-1961 works, And it doesn't even feel like one lol
Well this was directed by Abe Levitow (Chuck was only a producer), he would later adapt the B.C. strip for a Thanksgiving special.

@MihaiChetreanu17 Or "A Christmas Carol" with Richard Williams. Don't forget he was VP of Children's Programming at ABC at this time, and often OK'd a lot of these projects.
Yeah, most of the credit should go to Abe Levitow (who also directed "Gay Purr-ee" and many other cartoons).
Chuck Jones just made the music.
Is something missing from the ending? It seems really random.
There's definitely a splice in the end credits, if that's what you mean by "ending."
Awesome! Are there any more, or was this a one-shot? :-)
It's a one-shot, but there were other shorts that ABC aired at the time on "Curiosity Shop". Here's another...

Surprisingly bad. Thumbs up for the find, though.
