Wow, this is *extremely* appealing animation! The shapes, the movement, the acting, all terrific. It's fascinating to see the blend of classic cartoon influences while it also builds on them & shows unique personality. It's crazy that something so well-made would wind up being so obscure & underrated. Truly a hidden gem! Thanks a lot for sharing this! Edit: One of many details I love is how these chickens often do bird-like movements (especially head movements) that you rarely see in cartoons. The balance between stylized rubbery cartooning and naturalistic animal anatomy is very smart stuff!
Seeing the opening logo tells me this print came from the 70's. I've seen a few Macmillan Film releases before from this era. I'm guessing Halas & Batchelor licensed this to them.
If you are trying to ask me if what i said was a pun or a idiom, no, i'm just saying that the fox is good looking because i'm an obsessed weirdo like that lol

for the 1950’s this is some SMOOTH animation
The animation looks so smooth, it almost looks like a parody of classic cartoons.
I really like the animation in this one. Kinda looks like 90s stuff.
The background art for this cartoon was beautiful!

Hey! They had that Fleischer flavor of dubbing voices after animation!
Pretty fluid animation
My jaw almost fell off when I first clicked play
thought "looks british" before i read the description
This cartoon is not listed on Halas and Batchelor Collection.
It looks like it's from the 90s.
Princess Lavengra
