Warzone has Secret Settings (Is this CHEATING?)

- Warzone has secret settings aka filters that can be applied through Nvidia filters. These give you better vision, spotting and potentially an advantage. Is this cheating in Call of Duty Warzone? These are the best nvidia filter settings for Warzone so far, but if you have better let me know.

This channel is all about snipers, sniping and FPS shooters! I mainly do Battlefield Sniping but I also play Call of Duty, Battlefront and I love Battle Royale. I often play solos, duos and squads on my livestream. I have 1000 hours experience in every Battlefield and I hope to play more of the best FPS games in 2020. I hope you enjoy my sniper gameplay as much as I do making it. - Ігри
Not to burst anyones bubble.. but EVERY monitor, even tv has settings to change brightness, contrast, gamma and most modern day monitors, sharpness.
No matter if you play on pc or console, change the settings on the monitor or the tv and voila.. no need to download any 3rd party software that can affect input lag.
Get a quality monitor and you have buttons under which you can set different settings for like watching movies, games, photoshopping etc.
This is nothing new.
Changing at the screen level won't have as much effect as changing the render properties. No bubbles burst.
Edit: to clarify this is because the screen adjusts things uniformly where as with nvidia freestyle effects you can target things like shadows and highlights individually. If you crank the brightness on a monitor/tv it will fix shadow issues but wash out and ruin bright scenes.
@@walker2006au Exactly. Doing this via software you are manipulating the rendered image itself where monitor or TV will just try to process whatever signal you put into it so it won't have the same effect!
@@walker2006au no. This is not doing anything with rendering. I could get the exact same effect with monitor options.
Edit: 2:17 id assume at least 80% of midrange and up gaming monitors have these options.
@@OneCosmic749 yes... Manipulating a rendered image. Exactly. Its not changing ANYTHING in the actual rendering process so that means that monitors can do the same thing. 2:17
@@mmiisshhaa I'd say wrong.. The monitor is displaying what it's told to display and then adjusting picture afterwards. So a dark scene with little detail will brighten uniformly where as these filters actually adjust things like shadows separately. I'm sure you can come close but won't get as accurate adjustments as changing the actual render.
"You will need an Nvidia graphics card for this to work"

I feel this
U have image sharpening on amd my son, under the graphics tab radeon image sharpening. ID suggest activating just for warzone, most games id say suffer from it.
warzone is the first game i’ve ever played where almost every character blends in with something on every single map
SpagettyLettuce you have obviously not played Battlefield V
Dude you never played Bf V ..... I honestly havent had a single problem with visibility but a friend of mine complains about it too idk (both on console)
In Bf5 every soldier was Peter from the hunger games
Wild_B_Kelso YT who in their right mind would willingly put effort into bf5
SpagettyLettuce I know I used to be a weird human being the past year because I have played it for almost a thousand of hours. Somehow I liked the game and after some pretty controversial patches I just stopped enjoying it. Red dead redemption 2 and COD MW are pretty good though so I kind of saved my self these quarantine days
"Warzone has secret settings!!"
So Nvidia has these filters.
hahahahha
Well you gotta lure in the likes i guess lol

Just imagine if everybody dislike the video.lol
Fax clickbait bs
The sun on Shipment is already a permanent flashbang
Yeah its almost a disadvantage on those maps like Rust or as you said Shipment
Stodeh aptly demonstrates this by spotting someone in another time zone lol.
lol
Watching this on mobile you can’t even see some of the people he shoots even as you watch him shoot them.
I was like, hold on, let me see.. nopp cant see him.
😂😂😂😂😂
Out of the corner of his eye.. 3 pixels for 4 frames...
It's also has CONS as well.. Especially in Multiplayer. Using a filter to make dark rooms/areas more visible will increase brightness of bright items ( Example, in Warzone the Flares.. you wiill most likely have trouble seeing flares at a distance or even determining if it was a recon flare (yellow) or a rez flare (red) ] another example is sunlight/ glare (in Warzone they don't have much of this compared to MP) but in Multiplayer they do not have the option to remove the sun glare (its ridiculous) and with a filter it makes it so bright that it's extremely difficult to see in the direction of the sun glare, like in Shipment theres one angle of the map that makes it difficult to see with a filter enabled, but in Warzone it's still worth it imo.
I've seen a guy literally disappear , & reappear right in front of me , I was thinking it was dead silence or whatever or just me missing something , but I've been pretty damn vigilant
That's the garbage servers.
Stod: settings may improve visibility.
Also Stod: spots one pixel 1500m away and makes a head disappear
😂😂😂 makes a head disappear
This was clearly demonstrated in a clip of this guy with a riot shield hiding in the dark corner in the first floor of a police station on some crates, while a group of 3 shows up and are completely oblivious to him. He kills one of them, the other two come running and he puts the shield up, while they fire into the wall next to him. They give up after one mag and turn their backs and he takes them both out lol. I wish I could provide the name of the clip or person but I sadly can't remember for the life of me. Still, I think I'm going to have to play with this setting cause I always seem to get killed from someone inside a dark building or when I'm transitioning from outside into a dark doorway
6:17 that’s pretty much the ttk I experience 80% of the time on warzone
Same bro, feels like I've got no armor on my body even though I'm stacked.
Yash Singh exactly
Aim for the dome lads ffs
Ah yes, The M4
90% of my games feel like that. I shot a full magazine into my opponent, he realizes who is shooting at him and than tick tick I'm dead... (warzone)
Nice video and info firstly!!!
you can also turn filters on your TV too, depending what TV you have, but it does change gamma, contract and brightness etc.
not just Nvidia/PC only.

LMAO
The sharpness really helps the game look more crisp. Thanks for this tutorial
Game devs: Spend years to make each scenes and details incredibles.
PC Players: Put every settings to low and mess with the picture calibration.
That's what happens when everything is way too distracting and has shit visibility
What I love about pc. I have control over my settings

I love how Stodeh sees a sniper and starts moving like it was him aiming at himself. Bro, people don't have your aim.

Love how you always repeat one's sentence to make fun of him. Reminds me of kindergarten... Simpler times.
You earned my sub repeat Rudy.
When I watched your stream a day ago, I was wondering why your screen was so much brighter than every other stream I had seen lol
Hey Stodeh, you might want to experiment with the 'Details' filter. It's the most OP one.
Start by setting all it's variables to 0%, then increase HDR Toning to 100%.
What it does is essentially compress black levels up to an average, the image overall gets a bit brighter and all dark areas are boosted, but without washing out the whole thing.
You really only need that one setting but you can also turn up the Sharpening and Clarity too.
That’s actually really cool. I tried it. I left Sharpen on 50%, though; and put Clarity on 0%.
However--*UPDATE*--brings down your FPS by around 20 :( sad cause it looks real cool
@@CauseImFlawless That's shit jesus
@@CauseImFlawless I was wondering, i was looking at this video on constantly looking a fps avg first. Thanks for clarifying it
Absolutely. There may be a way around it if you got the time and play around with certain aspects 🤷. But at the same time, if you're averaging 200 fps, who cares - go for it; but I average around 120.
@mauro chazarreta 😂😂😂
When i click on gamefilters it says that i need a game supported game
How can i Support mw with geforce experienxe
Something to add here, I´ve been using this and I tested this alot. Setting up those filters increases inputlag and has a hit on performance. Depending on your filters and settings it can be better or worse.
Edit: because I see alot of misconseption about input lag. No matter what you do, the moment you let a software/overlay put something ontop of your rendered frames it will always increase/add "input-lag"
What is your GPU? I've just tested this on a 1070ti. same FPS on/off.
@@Regressum 2080, i9 9900k.
We tested this with alot of settings, some are quite heavy on the performance and others aren´t. We tested these with 4 people and the results were very similar. Especially if you have adaptive sync on
i have a 1080Ti and was thinking of doing this until i read this comment. Is it really horrendous input lag? guess i'll have to give it a shot and see
@@dammitcarl1082 I don't feel anything if I'm being honest. I have a 2070 super.
@@dammitcarl1082 nah its not horrendous an example I can give you guys is. At first playing only with details filter I didn´t realize it just until I turned sharpening and other stuff on I tested it out. Its not the same for every setup I wish you the best of luck. It is quite fun tho, testing all those filters out. Not gonna lie
"Dark Boost" on my monitor does the same thing with a press of a button... and I'm pretty sure you can get the same result with any monitor/TV
Great video! I saw in your video, that you also played with jackfrags? That is a very hard team to beat! lol
I tried streaming with this game filter on and it ff-ed up my stream. the frame loss was so bad it was practically a slide show. I tried switching encoders which got rid of the frame loss but in turn my stream looked very ugly with the sky flashing white and the stream looked super grainy with all the discolored pixels. Does anyone know a fix for this in streaming/recording with OBS/stream labs?
you need another computer and a capture card.
"Warzone" has secret settings? Really misleading title. It isn't Warzone settings at all, it's Nvidia settings. You're a good player and interesting to watch, don't resort to clickbaity titles like this. I'm not mad, I'm disappointed.
There's the Color filter to modify saturation levels, I find this lets me tune up the image after applying the sharpen filter to bring up some more color and avoiding the washed out look and inf act was the first filter I applied since I'm not a big fan of the grey-brown colors most areas had.
I use the details filter with the contrast and overall eats like 5-10 fps but makes a difference
This is why I ignore it when some games tell me to adjust my brightness so that the picture on the left is barley visible. Um....NO thank you! I would like to see things.
i do the same.... in games when its night and blacked out I can still see...
I struggled playing cod on my LG tv. Thought I was a second behind everyone. Changed the picture mode from vivid to game and now it runs so smoothly and I win most 1 on 1s. Check your tv settings!
TVs adds a lot of input lag. Game mode removes the crap you don't need.
lmfao TV
Eww tv
When I stream, My screen flickers white when I have the game filters on from geforce experience. How can I fix that? help!
you can do that in nvidia desktop color setting without doing that every time. you can also turn up the sharpening and film grain reduction in the graphic settings
just like "black stabilizer" at lg monitor
@Doge Gaming I have "Black Equalizer 2.0 built into my monitor, and it does a better job than this program.
Can confirm. The "black stabilizer" on my LG monitor makes every dark area of the map totally bright.
i don't see the enemy when you snipe. how you do boss?
He cheating
What can I do of when I start playing those setting didn't save and I have to set that every single time I get inside the game
The best warzone advice i have yet had , thankyou , this made my game play a lot beter
You can also do this on a TV, I always turn up the brightness in the blacks because I think it's not realistic darkness in shadows in fps games
Hi could you help me with setting on tv lg?
Hi could you help me with wettings on tv lg?
No, not exactly the same. Because nvidia software adjusts shadows separately for instance
Turn that HDR off too, it helps.

Gotta have sharpening to clear up the sweat and tears from console players you kill on the screen. I forgot about filters and not sure if there's an fps hit difference but I've been using the Nvidia control panel 3D settings for Modern Warfare and added sharpening there (60 sharpening, default 17 for film grain ignore). If you get discoloration issues/color banding its because you need the latest drivers.
This is basically like reshade/sweetfx, and I use this in some games. I have an AMD GPU by the way.
yes but nvidia filters don't make your input lag much worse like reshade does.
Where did you get that? Reshade does not increase input lag.

I would love to try this but with nvidia overlay on when i alt tab my game just crashes and i don t know how to make him work
the real question for me is if the filters add input delay, only reason i havent messed with it
for sure it does add up
yes it does!
I tested this like months ago. Not only Input lag (which can be quite heavy, depending on the filter. It also has quite the hit on fps
Without I get 170 fps on 3440x1440 and with the filters on it drops to 140 fps
It doesn't of you have a half decent machine
I tried this before and was able to increase visibility however I did notice that my FPS dropped from around 120fps to 95fps so for me it's not worth it. You could see your enemy first but it doesn't matter since he might have less input lag than you and you can still lose
cansomeone reffer me to a program that does this for AMD please? in my case its a problem with my monitor, where the contrast is aways too high. its bad in movies and other games and it makes warzone almost unfair for me to play. please help
So whats the differece between this software and my in built monitor filters?
Stodeh: this is not some third party software
Software: is literally third party
It's not. It's built into Nvidia's GPU driver. If you install the driver, which you need to render and display the game, it'll be there. It's not a 1st part tool obviously, but it's by no means something most PC players don't have installed already.
Anyone with a NVIDIA's GPU already has shadowplay installed because that's how we update drivers .. They just need to enable the ability to use this if they have it disabled
@@TechnicalGamingChannel it's third party to the game. Nvidia is not affiliated with infinite ward or warzone, hence third party.
@@LZONE4 GFE isnt a *mandatory* install. Driver executables can be manaully DL and installed. GFE just automates the DLing of it and notifies you.
I've tried it with slightly different settings, and it hits my FPS quite hard. I'm going from 100 to 60/70... That's just to big a difference for me... Nice vid tho
Really? I use it all the time and never had frame dips? Wonder why?
yep, big decrease, know it since csgo. My main fps in wz - 50. I'll not even try it.
You guys are doing it wrong. Don’t use the poopy overlay! Uninstall GeForce Experience... it’s bloatware. Utilize the Nvidia control panel instead of the overlay for your filter. You will have more fps headroom using the sharpening filter by in the control panel along with the other color/brightness options. Enable the sharpening profile, and change the monitor color settings in the control panel each time before you game or leave it as is.
kfunkdeluxe using a combination of these filters in the overlay eat the FPS up on some cards

People have been doing this with monitors and tvs to much the same effect for 20 years now. Not to mention putting dots on their tvs/monitors or buying ones that put reticles on the screen for you. Like you said there are 2635 programs that do this but this isn't really a 2020 thing. People used to play cs 1.4 on full bright until it was marked in anticheat, then they just cranked the gamma, then that was added to some anticheats. Then people would experiment with FOV and textures. Know a guy who bashed all environment textures to low detail and left character textures high. Nvidias filters adjust the frame buffer not the game itself, so the last 1 or 2 frames rendered. So what has already been drawn, they do this for performance and compatibility. So in effect its doing a lot of the same range of adjustments a good tv or monitor can already do same some of some of the more cheaty post processing. I would suggest visiting those effects. Sharpening and such. God those could be cheaty...

It can't. It cannot compete with the Nvidia filters as you can target individual aspects such as shadows/lighting etc. A monitor will adjust all aspects at the same time
I need help bro while doing first setup i set my brightness to max and now there is no settings to make it right.
I've found the sharpen filter is all you need to get better visuals without much fps drop or noticeable input lag.
Also set texture details to low, anisotropic filtering to low, turn AA off or SMAA 1x. This makes the textures on the ground and walls look really plain but with the combination of the sharpen filter (40%), makes the opponent figures stand out and get a competitive advantage hehe.
