Jess's general opinion of Todo 360: “Impressive, most impressive.” Jess's opinion of Todo 360 during the episode where 3PO is tortured: “Kill him. Kill him now.”
And you've now officially finished Season 1. Thanks to the fans loving Cad Bane so much, it was decided to expand the story of his breaking Ziro out later on, with a whole backstory episode of how he got the plans for the Senate building, forcing the finale way down the line chronologically.
Yeah they did the same with the Rookies episode being a success on release, so decided to make Domino Squad in season 3 thats now incorporated chronologically, hence the complete mess that is release order these days. It does tie things up nicely with Bane's story, but Anakin decidedly feels like early Anakin in the series; not quite the battle-hardened warrior we know him to be from the rest of the series so far.
only in Clone wars do we get a peek at Anakin and Palme in happy domestic bliss throwing a dinner party, sending C3P0 and R2d2 on a damn shopping trip. Glorious
This is the start of our journey seeing how Anakin becomes increasingly unstable; we know he eventually drifts to the dark side, but between outright killing on screen and how obsessed he is with Padme's approval-- we can notice the seeds of the dark side beginning to be planted for his arc later.
Haha when I saw the episode titles, I knew Sesska would be upset with 3P0 and R2 being put through the mill! And Ziro is always a pleasure, you can't believe that its the same voice actor who does Count Dooku! C3P0 and R2 have a little arc together later on and no they won't be tortured again so you can relax there! :D The next episode is bonkers but great fun as well. 4 more episodes though, then Clone Wars moves to the next level of greatness! Can't wait to see Sesska's reactions from then!
Not a fan of Evil Plans (aka the droid torture porn episode) but your love of C-3PO really made the reaction entertaining. Hostage Crisis, however, is a classic. It was the first episode produced that featured Cad Bane, in all his ruthless but stylish glory, and instantly propelled him into being a fan favourite.
Not a fan of Evil Plans either. I don't really understand what the narrative of the episode was supposed to be. I get it was to give the background to how Cad Bane got the plans for the Senate building but did they really need an entire episode just showing them extracting the data from R2?
Season 1 episodes ranked, in my opinion. Season 1, episode 16: The Hidden Enemy - 8.8/10 Season 1, episode 9: Cloak of Darkness - 8.8/10 Season 1, episode 5: Rookies - 8.5/10 Season 1, episode 10: Lair of Grievous - 8.3/10 Season 1, episode 20: Innocents of Ryloth - 8.2/10 Season 1, episode 22: Hostage Crisis - 8.1/10 Season 1, episode 21: Liberty on Ryloth - 7.7/10 Season 1, episode 4: Destroy Malevolence - 7.7/10 Season 1, episode 13: Jedi Crash - 7.7/10 Season 1, episode 14: Defenders of Peace - 7.7/10 Season 1, episode 11: Dooku Captured - 7.5/10 Season 1, episode 15: Trespass - 7.5/10 Season 1, episode 2: Rising Malevolence - 7.4/10 Season 1, episode 3: Shadow of Malevolence - 7.0/10 Season 1, episode 18: Mystery of a Thousand Moons - 7.0/10 Season 1, episode 1: Ambush - 6.9/10 Season 1, episode 19: Storm over Ryloth - 6.8/10 Season 1, episode 17: Blue Shadow Virus - 6.7/10 Season 1, episode 12: The Gungan General - 6.3/10 Season 1, episode 7: Duel of the Droids - 6.0/10 Season 1, episode 6: Downfall of a Droid - 5.0/10 Season 1, episode 8: Bombad Jedi - 2.5/10 Easily the weakest season, but still some fun moments.
25:50 I will say, season 2 is officially called "Rise of the Bounty Hunters" so I thought this episode was a good finale to transition to the theme of the next season. So, I do like this as the season finale.
There are droid focused episodes later in the series that aren't quite as dark, but when Cad Bane is involved things always get a little messier than usual.

*sees title* Oh boy, Sess is gonna be feeling some strong feelings this reaction. At least the clone saying “Oh my god” made your day
19:28 I find it cute Chuchi used her lap as head support for Anakin when he was knocked out.
4:34 I love that she was so overwhelmed by C-3PO being shoved that for a moment she didn't realise he was also being electrocuted.
Neat trivia note: This is the ONLY time in all of Star Wars canon that R2-D2 gets his memory wiped, unlike poor 3PO.
Yeah and thankfully for R2 and us, its only a partial wipe.
Palpatine be like, “That little sh*t! I for one won’t be hiring Bane any time soon”
I swear, that man gets electrocuted so many times over the course of this show. Really explains a lot about Revenge.
I had to rewind your video when the clone said "omg" good catch, you caught it before me 😂👍

The baker droid was voiced by none other than the finest pastry chef Jeffery “Duff” Goldman.

I love how in Star Wars punching robots is a thing.
Hostage Crisis is a great episode. Obsessed with how effortlessly the Bounty Hunters take over the Senate

best thing about this episode is... Cad Bane and Ziro the Hutt are the voiced by the same person Corey Burton

R2D2 really has his priorities right xD

Ah yes, C3PO, the eternal cosmic plaything. Nice to see this series back. :)
Yep, that clone was like "smh". He steals the show lol.
your love for c3po is iconic tbh, queen behaviour

Anakin always gets electrocuted 🤣
there are few episodes of C3PO & R2 adventures. You gonna love them
There are droid focused episodes later in the series that aren't quite as dark, but when Cad Bane is involved things always get a little messier than usual.
"Anakin seems to be on the loose" Well, if that doesn't sum up a lot in Star Wars~~~^.^
Meet the most bad ass bounty hunter that ever lived
I missed seeing your reactions
I was hoping to see your reaction to the Clone haha
Great episode
What does she says by ziro is a riot?
Yippee kiay moisturefarmer!
Always got Die Hard vlbes from the hostage episode
I am enjoying your reactions very much :)
Anakin acting a bit more arrogant you say 🤔
She's lucky she kissed him. He may have turned into Vader early!
One for the algorithm.
Anakin being a red flag and cad bane is being a king. Home boy manage to out wit Palpatine
You're so cute when it comes to 3P0.
Can't wait till you get to the Bad Batch and a certain someone makes a reappearance.
Una por el algoritmo.
