- Hello ! beach metal detecting in this video, I find a small 18 karat gold ring with diamonds, thanks to my metal detector in the water of a salt lake. a short metal detection session, with the joy of finding this gold ring ... I'm happy!

Awesome!! Great hunt and video! Congrats on the Gold ring! I was pleased to see you find that ring. Great to see you using the AT Gold, is it a salt water beach that you were working ? Do you have any problems with the AT Gold giving you ghost or false signals ? If so can I please ask what settings that you use to help overcome the salt ? I also have an AT Pro and an AT Gold, I find that the AT Pro not very good in wet sand or salt water, and I have only used the AT Gold in dry sand. Thanks for sharing. ATB to you GL&HH, Arty
I agree with you, Arty, Garrett AT GOLD, I do not use it in salt water, too many false signals, I use in fresh water, there, it's very good to find the Small gold .... for salt water, I use minelab only, gt, or excalibur .... thank you!
DIAMOND IN THE SAND Yes freshwater the AT Gold takes some beating. Yes the Excalibur seems really good from what I've seen. I use my Sea hunter in salt water and wet sand. I use for freshwater, freshwater lakes, garrett AT GOLD, for the ocean, the sea ... the salt water minelab sovereign gt, and underwater, minelab excalibur II, but if you have to buy only one ... choose the minelab sovereing gt it's the best ... but it does not manufacture anymore .... just opportunities ....

Evelyn, for sure you will find a lot of gold on the tourist beaches of your beautiful country ... but I do not advise you to buy in China your detector .... too much risk that it is not a good detector but a false, a fake copy.
try it you can buy it at home mayor, australia or the usa or so in europe like spain, uk, france ... but especially not in china.

I always choose the minelab sovereign gt for small target up to 50 cm in the black sand and wet ... it is very well for gold coins and ussi rings.
