Who said anything about being up high? Drop cable from ceiling allows you to set the cam at any height, including eye level, and not have the device sitting on the table. Matter of fact, logi took this recommendation and has since made it a ceiling kit, and presented in it in ads, works great dropped from center of a round table. Recessed mounts drop in table, and raise as when needed including to eye level, these are customized by third parties at this point but may be in development.
Super excited for this! Just need a solution for large spaces like training rooms were its not particle to mount a Sight to the table since most of the time the tables will move between different layouts. The Rally Bar has dual cameras which can work with SmartGallery, etc but Rally Plus does not. There is still no solution from Logitech for these spaces!
So when a conference room is not used for video conference, but only as meeting table, this "Thermos" looking device is stuck in the way? Needs to be able to be recessed into the table, or a drop ceiling cable mount.
