maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but... give berserk to mappa. Let those overworked animators be remembered for eternity and at the same time, give this masterpiece the quality it deserves and needs
its not like berserk isn't mainstream or popular enough to b animated by a big company its just that its so violent and graphic that its probably hard to to find an animation studio that is willing to risk adapting something so risqué
It's not getting remastered, instead we are getting a new anime that won't be censored and will be fully 2d animation. Though they will only adapt one arc.

The final two episodes were so shocking and brutal, I was on the edge of my seat (and i'm someone who appreciates well-placed dark brutality in content). I still find myself thinking about it today. It's kind of how I felt after seeing Avengers Endgame the first time. If you've ever had that feeling of emptiness after your favorite series ends you'll know what I mean. I know the 2016 series wasn't rated well, but I have to know what happens next so i'll be starting that tonight. Hopefully the animation etc that everyone has warned about doesn't impede my ability to watch it too much. One of these days i'll just have to pick up the manga.
