Okay, keeping the bars together was a genius move that I definitely would not have thought of.
Hanging your pants with the belt hook guarantees that you need to pull the hanger down to take them off the hanger. You're just making more work for yourself :)
Anddd…the belt loop thing isn’t even intuitive. Imagine having to think hard every time you want to hang some pants. Tuh! 😂
I keep my bed linens for each room with a bed in the closet of that bedroom. I keep my linen closet for towels, hair products, etc. It also keeps me from having tons of different sets of bedding for everything all in a tiny closet. Your closet looks great and that light is so cute! Great job!
Ohhh, that's an interesting idea. I could do that. Because right now I had ALL the sheets and comforters and everything in my closet and that's a no. Thanks for sharing!!

If you’re planning on eventually painting your full home, you should look into paint sprayers. They make the process much easier once you get the hang of it. You can also rent them.
I’ve watched some UA-cam videos on sprayers. But people say by the time you prep everything you could’ve rolled the first coat already. 🤔 What do you think?
@@traciemae I used one when I purchased my home. It is definitely a bit of prep, but once you're going it saves time over multiple rooms and the paint is more evenly distributed and the finish is better.
@@La_Femme_Noir Was there a lot of like...spray fumes? I'm not saying the right word, but you know that cloud of paint dust in the air? I don't have the best ventilation down here. But I think you might be right. Taking my time to prep well sounds easier than the painstaking work of actually painting. Did you have to back roll after you sprayed?

I relate to that hoarding rant so much! I just saw a tutorial for an easy to sew bag. Guess what? I have a fabric box. Boom. Thread? boom. Extra zippers? Already gat det. Was gifted a new plant. already got soil and an extra pot. boom. Broke a statue. Have wood glue AND E6000. Double boom.
You know what I’m saying!!!! Like, I’m not about to go everywhere every time I need something. That sounds crazy to me.

I keep way too much stuff in my closet. I want some nice shelves to display my handbags though. My hubby has a safe to store his firearms which is huge. I gotta find a way to make that look nice in our closet too

My friend is one of those people who decorates her apartment top to bottom, but when she moves out of these places, she doesn’t want to pay anyone to remove the stuff she installed. Tracie to the rescue!! And I get to keep the stuff!

I also wanted to ask about your one dread. Is there any symbolism to it? You seem to find a lot of comfort in it. 😊
I have a walk in closet with my clothes and costumes. I've got a shelf for wigs and travel accessories. I also keep my costume hats in there. Last but not least is a safety ladder to escape over the balcony in case of a fire that my mom got me.
I like to keep my shoes near the front door. I keep them basic so there aren't too many options. It helps with decision fatigue.
My loc is a “lockdown loc” named Bonet. I started her on May 14, 2020 in the thick of the Covid lockdown. She’s 4 years old now. No real symbolism outside of that. I’m just loyal. 😂 A friend told me to grow her long enough to use as a ponytail holder…so that’s what we’re doing.
I have other closets in my place that I’m using for dresses and one is all my mama’s clothes 🫣. I like having some shoes by the door too. Because that’s where they immediately come off anyway!
