    [UPDATE/PLEASE READ]: it seems this might have been stealth patched. I can get 7 rounds of nades off quite easily still so I don't think it's her having been shortened. I think it's Sunbracers and/or stacking damage from solar nades have been stealth patched. Doesn't seem to be anything in Patch Notes referencing it. For those who have been able to do this easily solo last week, please do test and let me know here.
    Bipod perk has definitely been patched. It no longer retains ammo for other weapon archetype swaps. Unfortunate, it was useful in many other activities as well. So when you swap, you will only have 8 Tractor shots.
    Workaround (I can't test atm) would be running this with one other friend (so it seems unfortunately). Sunbracers still keep her locked in place. How I would run it since Bipod is not viable anymore is have your friend run Wither plus LFR and they start and do initial trap. You run Tractor and double slugs and are standing by plate. Once Wither'd proceed as normal. Use Void ammo reserves for Tractor and you'll have full ammo.
    From what I can tell, 2-man should be an easy kill. Most I did testing just now was 4M damage. Maybe I'm out of practice? Doubt I was that bad tho. I run 4 blessing mods, so even with a fifth blessing, it'd only be 4.2M and not enough. But 400k damage from a friend would only be about 8 LFR shots. That's not including their Super, Slugs, weaken grenades etc. So should still work I would think 2-man. It's also why I think this wasn't a nerf because of Kalli, but just in general. I don't see the point in nerfing solo but not duo+. Half my runs last week were 2 and 3-man anyhow.
    Lastly, Loadouts are currently locked as we all know, so this would need a manual swap. Not difficult, but with the above 2-man setup unnecessary.

      All I had left was the fusion rifle (3 more). Went back for it just now. Came back here to see if anyone else had tried since the new season started. I can't do more than 3.3 or 3.4 million damage with nades and tractor cannon. They did something to solar nade damage. I was able to get around the bipod nerf with double reserve mods and ammo finder. Ugh. What a pain.

      @@randomthought214 OK thanks for the confirmation. Yeah my suspicion is they nerfed solar nades (Sunbracers are still way OP in regular content tho). Unsure if damage output or stacking capability (or bit of both). One thing I'm certain of, it had nothing to do with Kalli at all. Just happenstance that this was the solo method. She still stays locked in place, she still takes a ton of damage from one person, it's just not enough now. A 2nd person obviously solves this easily, but yeah, solo is def gone for now unfortunately.

      @@MystikalManiak I have 1 harmonizer remaining from last season and am at 78 in season pass (wife was out of town so I no-lifed it). Just got a techeun from wishing wall and have 1 in vault with 2 characters still to try on wishing wall. My RNG is really bad with the fusion rifle over the life of D2. It hardly ever dropped for me.

    You don't have to reset the checkpoint once you get your loot just load back in from the map that way you don't have too keep going back to Kali from the beginning

      once you defeat Kalli, the CP updates. if you now load back in, you will load from after the boss, thus you're not able to go back and defeat it again. this is in every D2 raid

      Yes I added this update in Description yesterday. My clanmate made me aware. Makes it roughly 1 minute shorter which is great 👌. Glad it is in a comment as well for ppl to see.

      Especially once you have a second person and if you orbit immediately after the drop to retain the CP, it's also debatable as to which is faster to getting 2 drops: running this twice or 6-man challenge chest run for 2 drops. With immediate orbit (see update in Description) and a friend, it's basically a 3-minute run. 6 minutes total for 2 drops and don't have to do 9 plates, kill ogres or go in safety doors. Still quite efficient. Did this for most of yesterday off and on starting with none and have only 3 patterns total to go now lol.

    Just a heads up, I found it helpfull to direct hit as often as possible with the grenades for solo because it lets me kill her without using my special slug shotgun

      Noice. I will try this out myself and throw them on her body rather than the floor. Tbh, throwing them at her feet is a habit from running it with clanmates in duo and trio, so I don't block her crit for them with their Sleepers and Taipans. I will see if I notice a difference. Almost done, couple patterns left, game just doesn't wanna give em 😔.

      I was going to reply with this same suggestion. I found this to be true late last night. Direct hits even in the same location cause more damage on Kalli. I thought spreading out solar nades would be better damage but it's the opposite. 🤷‍♂️

      @@randomthought214 love it when strats evolve like this and get refined. I've always thrown at feet just cause I've run this with clanmates as much as I have solo and don't wanna block crit for them, but def will try when solo.
      Had a lot of fun refining loadouts when running with a friend. I drop my Well when I see him come in close for slug work. We even found that his pulse nade, with Elemental Charge mod, didn't affect me getting my melee back at all (and did added damage to Kalli) and would kill one of the three thrall that come from mid. Ionic trace would come up to him and he'd get Armor Charge and surges for his LFR shots. We got him using half barricade for quick reloads on his LFR. Toss in Cuirass T Crash to come down low, I drop Well, he lays in with Conditional Finality or a slug. Fun times.

    just wanna point out you want to jump before using incinerator snap, I don't completely understand but sometimes the proc fails if you're on the ground

      Interesting. Thanks for the tip. I found speed wise I'm the quickest when grounded as much as possible (outside of sunbracer spam ofc), only time I jump is if Kalli stomps or lifts me out of position, then I jump toward the thrall over the half wall. I've gotten quite used to just aiming high, slightly above the thrall (since the thrall is on a level that's higher) and the snap just magnets to him. Only time I've ever missed one is if he teleports forward right when I do it which is just unlucky really and has only happened a handful of times. So possibly they have fixed it if that was a thing?
      I'm also a lot better at this whole thing now after many runs compared to this vid. One thing I started to do solo is after the 7th round of Nade spam, I go up where the thrall is, let her simmer in the nades, wait, watching for her to teleport to mid, then snap the thrall and jump to where she is with full sunbracer. It's a lot more consistent, she has way less health when she reappears in mid and takes far less slug shots doing it that way. She dies at the plate easily tho with even just one more person. Appreciate the input. If it even helps one person who might struggle with the melee, worthwhile feedback 🤝.

      @@MystikalManiak yeah for sure, I don't mean using the heat rises jump and staying in the air, just a little hop while the incinerator snap hits the thrall to correctly proc the sunbracers
      I only mention this because I tried to solo Riven before sunbracers were fixed and someone else mentioned to me to make sure I jump to proc it, after I've been paying attention to that and doing it I've never missed a sunbracers proc
      also the tip for the final thrall is super useful, it definitely helps clear the remaining health significantly faster to prevent the wipe
      I find that even if you wipe, its only a 2 min try so its very easy to just reload and try again, I really like this farm

    Not sure what I'm doing wrong here - on the initial Tractor before the first lot of grenade spam, she always seems to teleport after that initial tractor shot?

      Try to Wither as close to the steps leading to the plate as possible (1 o'clock spot when looking from spawn). Start encounter with shot from energy at about 3 o'clock spot. Move to 1 o'clock avoiding her push mechanic and Wither her right when her shield goes down. Sprint to the plate on the empty spot (where the bombs aren't), loadout swap, throw a nade where she will spawn, turn melee thrall, turn Tractor when you see spawn animation start, and then immediately go into Heat Rises Sunbracer spam. Basically the reason why she is TP'ing away for you is there is a break in tick damage betw your Wither shot and your initial solar nade after loadout swap. Any break in sustained damaged, she will leave even if you resume damage. So goal is be quicker, but mainly minimize the time betw when Wither hits her and when the initial nade first touches her, if that makes sense. Wither as late as possible is key.

    Quick question. I had a sweet build before though a mate came
    Round and said try a UA-camrs build to do this encounter. Problem is now I every time
    I switch over to tractor cannon all my super is gone and all
    Abilities are reset to zero. Anyone else had this problem??

      All aspects, fragments, abilities, and super have to be the same between the 2 loadouts or you will indeed lose everything. Make everything identical. Only things that can be different when loadout swapping (for anything in the game) is weapons, armor and weapon/armor mods. 👍

    Any tips on how to consistently prevent Kalli from teleporting? I can stop it from happening 1 out 7 times but not every time. I nade, melee, tractor cannon, start to spam nades and then poof. Does the placement of 1st nade need to be right at teleport location?

      It's all about keeping non stop damage on her. It starts with the Witherhoard shot. That's what traps her. Make sure that connects, if it doesn't (see it on the ground), just wipe. She will teleport no matter what. If Wither connects proper, yes I put the solar nade in general area she spawns in. Turn around to melee, turn around again, tractor (even during the teleport animation is fine) and then spam asap. It might have to do with your Wither shot?

      @@MystikalManiak Witherhord is connecting. I'm watching for damage numbers before going to plate. I was dying on the plate at times from the purge so I was changing load outs on the edge then going on the plate after the purge. I wonder if not immediately going on the plate is making me inconsistent.

      ​@@randomthought214 yes, likely. Also watching for Wither numbers, I only ever look at the ground if I feel like I might have missed the Wither shot. Otherwise it's just muscle memory, line up the shot and head. Also doing Wither sooner. If you see a yellow #, it's a little slow (but you can recover still). You should see "immune" ideally. As for the plate, that's what pulls her to the plate, you standing on it, so that's giving her more time with Wither shot on her. Direct hit Wither lasts only 4.5s. So if she gets that break (even in a different location) of Wither running out and hitting that solar nade, it's likely enough for her to teleport.
      I'd suggest do try to find the empty portion of the plate and swap loadouts there just to get her to you and on that initial nade.
      Thinking outside the box in case you're running this in duos or more, you could have a friend start it and Wither, meanwhile you're already on your Tractor loadout by the plate. When friend tells you "She's Withered", hop on plate right away. Friend sprints to LFR position and business as usual. If solo, just gotta get that speed down.

      ​@@randomthought214also, for loadout swapping, I definitely made the Tractor loadout the top left loadout in menus. That's the default location that the side menu opens on. You don't have to move your cursor or anything that way and just click it without thinking.

      I made 2 adjustments with your advice and am preventing her from teleporting. 1. I'm going directly to the plate but away from the orbs. 2. I'm waiting a fraction of a second later to send Witherhoard shot so that there's no doubt the shield is down. If I were to bet on it, I'd put my money on it being the Witherhoard change.     This boss has a very strange damage distribution while running. I literally perform the same actions, but in one case I kill her before the second teleportation, and in the other she still has 1/9 hp, even after the shotgun damage. Sometimes I can throw 1-2 grenades past, but it looks like I threw 7 grenades past, but it's not. And I'm definitely throwing 95% of the grenades on her, not at floor. Of course I'm killing her, but it's just weird

      I do agree, a small portion of runs feel just off. Sometimes it'll be on runs where I know I'm going very quick (you can tell because you're going faster in comparison to the plate bomb cycle) and she just is weird. I've started to throw the grenades on her too when solo.

      A reconstruction Heritage from DSC raid in kinetic slot and a crafted Nessa's Oblation (reconstruction/vorpal) from RoN raid in energy slot. Both are slug shotguns.
      Just a heads up that how solar grenades affect enemy hit boxes was altered along with the Gjallahorn changes, so this farm needs a 2nd person unfortunately now as their damage output got reduced. It is quite easy though with a 2nd person. They would only have to put out about 400-800k damage of the 4.4M needed, depending on how quick the Warlock is. With more than 2ppl it's a walk in the park.
      I would suggest the 2nd person runs the Wither + Linear and starts it for you, that way you don't have to swap loadouts and you will keep full Tractor ammo (Bungie changed how Bipod perk on RL's works and you lose ammo now again swapping Heavies). You can just sit right by the plate and wait for your friends callout that Kalli has been Withered.

      If you have a quick read of my pinned comment, it'll explain a bit about changes for Season of the Witch. Basically it got affected by Gjallahorn changes as another commenter explained to me. Has to do with particles and hit boxes and solar grenades got affected. So it wasn't a nerf because of Kalli in the least, just an indirect effect unfortunately cause of Gally and Wolfpack rounds being OP from what I understand.
      The most damage I was able to do in a run this season was 3.9 to 4M. Kalli's health pool is 4.4M. So definitely not solo'able any longer unfortunately, but easily 2-manable. Grab a friend or LFG rando and have at it. They'll only have to put out roughly 400-800k of damage, depending on how fast you are as the Warlock, which is nothing really. A couple mags of Linear plus a dps super will do it easily. Slugs as backup. The nades still completely stun lock her np at the plate. Bungie did nerf the Bipod perk on RL's so you don't reatain heavy any longer when you swap weapons, so I'd have the friend run Wither (and a Linear for dps) and they do the initial trap so that you can be on Tractor from the jump. Just hop on the plate once the friend tells you she is Withered and proceed as normal. Def still worth it once LW is the rotator. I finished all my red bars in the one rotator week. Still will be 90-120s per run or so.

      Tbh I don't know of a permanent damage tick strat on Hunter. Haven't seen a means of perma trapping and one phase DPSing. To trap on Hunter, you'd need to use Wither or Anarchy. Anarchy you'd lose your heavy when you'd rather run a DPS capable gun and Wither lasts 4.5s and would become tedious really quickly to upkeep damage ticks and would interrupt your DPS. Cataclysmic would be the obvious choice, but then does your FttC cycle get interrupted cause you have to shoot Wither again, not to mention B&S upkeep. Taipan would be OK with Triple Tap, but TT could get interrupted too. And is there even enough in the LFR to fully kill her is the other question. The reason Warlock is so good is that the solar nades both dps her well and also damage tick her (keep her locked in place), it can be proc'd nonstop with melee with the right mod setup and it's brainless and not tedious at all once you have a groove.
      The only runs I've seen on Hunter that do it legit primarily consist of completing 2 plates rapidly (for 2 of the 3 doors, since you're 1 phasing, a third door doesn't matter), then using a combo of solar melee for Radiance upkeep, dodge to refresh melee, celestial shots, and Cataclysmic shots and B&S upkeep with Wither. Triple solar surges and time dilations. Again just a ton to monitor, upkeep and then also still output enough damage and not miss crits ever. Doable, but far from brainless. If someone does find a video showing an easy Hunter trap and dps along the lines of Sunbracers, I'd be more than glad to try it out and reproduce, upload the vid and provide feedback.

      Permanent (with refresh shots) 30% debuff, so yes definitely, unfortunately. Nothing else in the game provides that kind of debuff other than Felwinters Helm (useless in this scenario) and Tether. Theoretically if you ran it with enough Hunters with Deadfall/Orpheus that she is tethered the entire time, then that would make Tractor unnecessary. On the buff side, Radiance does not affect solar grenades, even Well doesn't, so there's no way of buffing, only debuffing.

      Make sure all fragments, aspects, abilities and super are identical between the loadouts otherwise you will indeed lose everything swapping. Only differences between the two can be weapons, armor, and weapon/armor mods. The only thing I personally would have different is swapping Wither for a slug shotty and Bipod RL for Tractor. You could also have Transversives on the Wither loadout and swap to Sunbracers for DPS loadout, just to get to plate that much faster.

      Damn. Do you position yourself as close to the plate as possible when taking the Wither shot? As in if we're looking at the circular pit in middle of room from spawn, I'd shoot her at around 3 o'clock spot to start encounter and Wither her from 1 o'clock spot which is basically right near the steps that lead to the plate, to minimize how far you have to run to plate. It literally is a timing thing unfortunately. If Wither hadn't been nerfed from 7s to 4.5s, this would be a joke, but here we are. Just gotta have no breaks in tick damage from the Wither to the solar nade.
      Other options you could do, trying to think outside box:
      * put Transversives on to make your movement just that much more quicker. Can even jack up mobility as much as possible I believe, since melee Kickstart, double momentum transfer and sunbracer exotic perk take care of getting melee back. I'm at 100 strength in the video, more as a just cause. Doubt it would affect getting melee back if you pour into mobility instead.
      * you could theoretically use an Eager sword and eager over to the plate. If you run triple void reserves with the sword, it should minimize the ammo loss (tho not like a Bipod RL). I just hopped on and tested, you get left with 8 Tractor shots after swap. Honestly you're probably better off just trying to get faster. 8 shots is pushing it. 10 would be the ideal amount minimum.
      * lastly, if you got a friend (I know the point of this vid was it's possible solo) and still struggling getting the quick timing down, you could have the friend shoot to start and Wither her, meanwhile you stand near plate already. As soon as she is Withered, hop on plate (don't need to swap loadouts, be on Tractor setup already and friend can still run a Taipan and energy slug along with Wither) and that will be impossible to not prevent her from TP'ing. Then friend just runs around the way to his spot to add damage. With a friend (or more) she dies at the plate itself at the end as it's a lot quicker.

      Does switching one ability wipe out all the energy for all your abilities? IE could you swap from incendiary grenade to solar grenade without losing your melee, class ability, and super energy. I wonder if you could tag with an incendiary grenade for 90 scorch, which should last 6+ sec vs 4.5 of witherhoard shot. Run to the plate and drop witherhoard. Switch to solar grenades and tractor cannon. Then your melee will kill the thrawl and start chain of solar grenades.

      @@miller8886 unfortunately it does. Any change to subclass options, be it nade/melee/super/aspects or fragments and you lose everything. So in loadouts, those have to match. Only changes you cna make is weapons, armor, and mods.

      Anarchy is an option, it lasts 10 seconds I believe, but it has 2 catches:
      1) you have to stick her with 2 grenades in the time after her shield drops (anarchy shots bounce off of shields) but before she leaves.
      2) you'll lose ammo for Tractor compared to using a bipod RL after you swap.

      Noooo! I'm gonna try help troubleshoot.
      Def look at minimizing the down time betw the Wither shot and the initial solar nade. So Wither as late as possible after starting the encounter with your energy weapon. Also Wither as close to the DPS plate as you can be to minimize the distance to the plate. You could also wear Transversives if you wanted on the Wither loadout to sprint a bit faster. Burst glide always and warlock skate to the plate. Stand on the empty spot on plate (where the bombs aren't) cause you want to trigger the plate asap as that's what brings her there. Empty spot will always be the middle or right one to start (thankfully, left one would suck as it's further away). Nade her spot preemptively, turn and melee thrall, turn and tractor when she spawns in, jump immediately into heat rises sunbracer spam; 4 nades in a row, then let go of jump, b-hop (if her lift mechanics is there, don't jump, it'll do it for you) and one more nade (so 5 total), then tractor, next I swap to heritage (cause of void holster mods reloading tractor for me) and get on plate, face thrall spawn pillar, wait till you see spawn animation, walk forward, melee, turn jump in air and rinse repeat.
      Ideal is getting 7 rounds of nades in, then spawn thrall one last time, jump up top to where he lands, face Kalli, wait till she teleport to mid (she'll simmer in the nades for a bit), melee the thrall (he should be right next to you), jump down to one of the three spots she goes to in mid, sunbracer spam the spot, tractor, drop well, tractor again, Heritage her crit. Profit.
      If anything, it's just being faster. Basically the tick damage from the initial solar nade has to hit her before the tick damage of Wither runs out (Wither lasts 4.5s), if that makes sense. Any downtime in continuous damage and she'll leave. Truly hope this helps. 🤞

      As noted in other comments, if she teleports it's because she has a break in tick damage between the Wither shot and the initial nade hitting her. Try to take the Wither shot as late as possible (when her shield goes down is a good time to shoot) and position yourself as close to the plate as possible. Wither shot lasts 4.5s, so you want to get to plate as fast as you can since that's what makes her teleport over. Swap loadouts and get the initial nade there before she spawns in. The nade will take over tick damage when the Wither shot runs out. Then get your melee kill on thrall and continue nade'ing her and get into the cycles.
      Essentially you just have to be faster if she is teleporting away. Wearing Transversives instead of Sunbracers on the Wither loadout could help as you'll run a bit faster. You could also shoot for 100 mobility and burst glide. Every millisecond counts so might as well. The only 2 stats that matter here are strength (and that's debatable cause you get your melee back from Heat Rises) and Mobility.
      So you could run these two loadouts:
      1) Transversives + Wither/Slug Energy/Bipod RL, with as high mobility as possible (please don't replace Transcendent Blessing mods to create this, use other armor pieces. Blessings are one time use).
      2) Sunbracers + Tractor + 4-5 Blessings + high Strength (might not be necessary) + 1 Melee Kickstart/2 Momentum Transfer + Void Holsters (for reloading Tractor when stowed during cycles).

      It does seem indeed that it has been stealth patched potentially. I can get 7 rounds of nades off easily, so it's not her timer, it definitely has to do with Sunbracers. I'll make a comment and pin it

      I assure you it does. If she teleports away it means that there was too much time between the Wither shot hitting her and the solar nade damaging her. I've been doing it all day without issue. Simply have to do it faster. Wither shot only lasts 4.5s and if the nade isn't on her by the time the Wither ticks end, she will teleport away.

      The real important part is after she teleports to your plate, she MUST still have a DoT previously applied to her (witherhoard).
