Very inspirational and worth applying across the world..... 😊 I can participate if there is anything I can drive to make this world a better and compatible place 😊
Absolutely wonderful. It will take some time to absorb the propensity of things u just said. I shall need to reflect first on it, then on how it can be adopted.
Dropping Expectation from, self, others and situations and accept happening as it is ,with awareness is spirituality. All identities /labels ( separating criteria for a set ) in any or all domain like religion/culture/gender/profession ..etc is the reason for all unhappiness.
"Truth can take care of itself! Thank you!" 😂 That was superb. People often take dharmo rakshati rakshitaha too literally. It is actually live by Dharma, not protect Dharma. Because Satya can take care of itself!
I largely enjoyed the talk. But what the speaker says has to be taken with a bit of discriminatory intelligence. The example of what happened in Rwanda and people forgiving their aggressors - well, forgiving has more to do with healing ourselves. And we don't have this "I forgive you" business at all, because everything is about causation. What they set in motion, they will recieve it some point in time. That is karma. Second thing is about comparing the news debates of India and America. Well, I agree that we could be more dignified. But pointing out America as an example to say they have a good hold over their emotions is wrong. Maybe it would have been true some years back, not now when woke culture is on great dominance. Japanese people are the best examples of emotional conticence. Not the Americans as they are now. I understand that the speaker is trying to just explain himself with examples to best connect with the listeners. But it would do good to also be little aware of the current state of things before taking examples. The story about Gandhi refusing life insurance - well Gandhi was not only dismissive of his own life but also of others. He is a person who allowed the slaughter of Hindus and has asked them to exercise restraint no matter how violent the peacefuls were. Non-violence was so important for him that he thought Jews should kill themselves instead of facing the torture. Well, the speaker also talked about the book 'Man's search for meaning'. It would do good to know about what Gandhi had spoken about the Jews before taking him as an example of a spiritually evolved person. Sri Aurobindo and Gandhi don't figure in the same talk is my humble opinion!
