Thank you Jim for showing my new construction garden transformation! I was so excited to see it. You didn’t butcher my name, it was pronounced correctly (Twee) as you said. I’ve watched you since I started my garden to get inspiration and learn about appropriate plant choices. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Thank you for featuring my garden. My name is Menchie from Mt Pleasant SC zone 8B. TIME played 4min 33sec. started to become a crazy plant lady 2.5 years ago. Thank you for all the knowledge I learned from watching your channel.
Love this idea. I think it might be helpful in future videos to focus on a central point - say create privacy, welcome wildlife, obstruct something unsightly, increase winter interest - and ask people to send photos that specifically illustrate that point
That is such a great idea! I would add showing before and after newly planted gardens and matured gardens especially with trees and shrubs. I have a hard time envisioning a space matured and I’ll over plant.
I'm giving an adult education class on perennials next month. Establishing the goals of a given project is part of my outline for the planning stage! This would help clarify the playlist but some of these might fit more than one category.
Love seeing different visions & styles from around the country and world! Great idea! - and as always thank you to your entire team for making this happen 🌱
I absolutely love these videos - gives us a glimpse into what others are doing in their spaces and what we've all learned along the way. Thank you Jim and Stephany for sharing your immense knowledge and skills.
❤🙏hello Mr Jim Putnam and Stephany gorgeous garden. Happy summer. Fun gardening, congratulation to all gardeners thank you for sharing your beautiful garden.happy gardening.
All those gardens are beautiful. I’m always shocked when I see before and after. Especially when they’ve been able to establish them so quickly. It’s taken me years and I still move things around, testing the layout.
Mine is one on there, and believe me, things still need to be moved around! 😀Some of the plants I’m “trialing” to see how they work for my soil and hot conditions, or if I need to try them in another part of the yard. . Also, plant color and form combinations to see what looks nice. I hope you submit your before and after, I bet it’s lovely.
Guess I should get some before pics of my yard, too! I've got a few things planted already, but I'm just about to put down a mulch bed (ChipDrop sitting in my driveway right now) and kick things into high gear this fall.
That was a really good video gives us all inspiration which you do all the time. I’m 73 and it takes twice a long to garden as it did ten years ago. So I garden a bit then watch your videos. Perfect combination. Cheers Bronwyn 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
I'm so glad you did these videos. They give me a lot of inspiration and that row of Leland Cypress trees, wow!! Her adding a few other trees and bushes, I cannot believe the difference it made... amazing! All the Before & After photos were beautiful but that row up trees really spoke to me and stood out the most. Thanks again. I look forward to everyone of your videos and I'm always going back looking at past ones for information or education on something I'm trying to do. Love love your channel. ❤❤ By the way I was rewatching a video of you and Stephany doing different containers and yall make a great team.
Andrew inspires me everyday to dive deeper into my yard. Lol. I live across the street from him and he’s easily my beer and garden dictionary lol! Awesome transformation!
Absolutely beautiful to see!!!!! I’m tryin to catch up on videos because I’ve been busy as hell in the yard watering so much right now, we’ve been in triple digits for weeks and weeks and weeks and the next two weeks look different!! 🥵
Any advice on dealing with a lawn of Bermuda grass?? Other than getting rid of an entire lawn?? I want to develop garden beds, but I already know that even killing out a section of the grass will not work for long, as the Bermuda is so persistently invasive!!
Just lots of shovel work to get it out, good edging that goes into the ground a ways and then weed eating the edging consistently. Once it’s dug out I usually don’t have any trouble with it coming back up in my beds as long as I keep the border edged where runners can’t make it back in.
Thanks for this video. I love to see how people are handling/designing a variety of challenging spaces.
Amazing, love before and after landscaping!! Thank you Jim

Love to see Before and Afters. It's inspiring to see the hard work people have put into their yards and the beautiful results.

@@dia9491 thank you-same here “🙏”, you can do it, it doesn’t have to be fast, the garden is for you and yours:)
I appreciate your comment because I started gardening last year and already want to move the plants I put in last fall.
@@onetuliptree go for it. I move plants a lot and so far I haven’t had an issue. I just keep an eye on them.
