Thanks so much for featuring our little front garden bed. 🥰I find it really fun to look back at photos to remind myself how much things have grown, and how much more beauty the garden brings, even though it's never perfect. And it's so inspiring to see all of the creative ideas and different styles of gardens around the country. 🌿🏵🌿

Beautiful gardens, thank you Jim. I love the before and after. Side note, night time lighting is a major reason for beneficial insect decline, especially moths. Let’s not attract them with pollinator gardens and then lead them to their demise with night lights. That fact never occurred to me until I was reading one of Dr. Doug Tallamy’ s books. 💚🌸🐛

Jim and Stephany, I JUST LOVE these videos. Through each one of these beautiful transformations, I can feel the pride they must feel when they see their vision come to life. Jim - I had to laugh re the carpenter '7 shrubs and a cloud of dust' remark.

David and Melissa in Grand Rapids, I love your yellow shutters in the back of your beautiful garden beds. They really pop! I’m not from Michigan but it’s one of my favorite states in the US. I’ve seen some truly beautiful gardens up there. They’re so vibrant.

I have found I have to be careful buying plants for my 8b zone here along the Gulf Coast in the Florida panhandle as there is a BIG difference in plants that will be happy in zone 8b in Seattle, WA. that would fry in our steamy hot climate here.

It is really disappointing that so many plants are sold only listing their cold hardiness. Knowing the heat zone (tolerance) is critical particularly in places where you are…

By far the best design is Roberts (Hillside) with the way he artfully designed those steps and landscaping. All of the plants beautifully complement the overall design with proper choices, scale and placement.

In the future, I’d love to see a video similar to this, but that are all here in Raleigh because I just bought another house and I basically will have a blank slate and can do anything with the space but I want to consult with you and would love some ideas of what other people have because there’s so many different kinds of garden spaces and I’m not sure which way to go… 🙂😊🪴
