I just bought the tl 15, it was on sale for same price as the 2010. I didnt have to pay extra for some accessories i wanted. Now I need to buy thread from Juki junkies!!
I love my Juki 2010 I have a very expensive machine but always go back to my Juki. I need to take her in though, when I first start to sew the thread from the take up lever slops around until I start sewing then straightens tighter. Hopefully that makes since. Any way I wish Juki would make this machine with a zigzag so garments won’t fray fabric and make a scant 1/4 inch foot with a hinge. This would be my dream machine. But only if it was the same sturdiness of this machine but with zigzag.
So this is basically a rebranded 2200 Mini, that was discontinued in the USA. The only difference is the 2200 Mini has even more feet. So you might as well price out the difference between the 2010 and 15 by the cost of the accessories and see which works out the cheaper option.
I would love to get a Juki machine. But, I’m hoping they come out with one with better lighting. Great tutorial explaining the difference in machines. 😊
We offer a led light strip for the mechanical machines for the mean time :) Also the computerized models do have more LED lights as well. LED LIGHT LINK: jukijunkies.com/product/sewing-machine-led-light-strip/
I have the TL 2020 Platinum Edition and have the same accessories listed for the TL15 and a lot more. The only thing the 2020 model doesn't have is the micro lifter. I have no need to to switch.
Bokie, consider putting a pinned comment at the top of any of your TL videos that your offer a foot pedal that sidesteps (literally as it is a side pedal) the issue with the accidental thread cutting. I recently bought a TL18 (used 'cause I'm cheap!). As my two Bernina machines have a function attached to a heel press, I have much muscle memory built up to NOT put pressure on the back of the pedal. (Plus I sew barefoot!)
Regarding the foot pedal: I use it the other way around, toes hitting top of pedal only, never near bottom, where it cuts thread. Well, even with the foot switch stopper, if I barely touch, slowly push on, the upper part of pedal (toes head-on with top of pedal...facing each other), it will still cuts the thread.....I never touch bottom half. Is there anything I can do to stop that pedal from cutting, altogether? That's the only thing I hate about the TL series....
I have just purchased the TL-2300 in the U.K. also. I have bought it for heavy fabrics and bag making. I have not had much time to play with it yet though as making daughter’s wedding dress. When that’s finished though I will be playing. I understand the TL-2300 is a new machine also.
Shipping is free on JukiJunkies.com and very fast. Factory warranty is 2 years on electric and 5 years mechanical. However this is a very reliable sewing machine and not much has changed on them over the years because of how simple and reliable they've proven to be. Feel free to call us anytime 813-376-5015 10AM-4PM EST
It has the micro lifter which none of the other models have. Plus that is something you cant add later on. Watch this video for details. ua-cam.com/video/hnIgMi7j9yc/v-deo.html
I have been searching and searching for a dealer in my area, but what I have found hasn't even returned my call, so maybe you can answer my question. Is there any way to ensure that any Juki I buy is NOT made in China, but in Japan?
Only if the dealer has machines from Japan. Dealers don't get to choose where there's come from. However if you have a lot of inventory on a specific machine its possible they can hand pick that machine for you.( if they have one from japan) Give us a call we will be happy to do this for you :)
She’s wise: I use to inspect Chinese made parts for oil refineries. Almost half were OOT. (out of tolerance.). No quality control there. That’s why Briggs & Stratton is out of business today. They made great engines In Wisconsin but the junk from China was so bad they got sued out of business.
Oh now I'm confused... Do I still want the 2010 or do I want the 15? Does the 2010 have the presser foot adjustment or does that start with the 15 & 18? And How much is shipping I live in the middle of the Oklahoma Panhandle.
Check out this video to learn the differences on the Juki TL. ua-cam.com/video/hnIgMi7j9yc/v-deo.html They're pretty much the same machine minus the accessories. It depends on what type of sewing you're doing to decide what will fit your needs more. However you can always purchase the accessories later on. Shipping is always free on our website (Jukijunkies.com) for machines and we make sure to set the tension and leave it threaded before we ship it out to our customers. Feel free to call Gigi 813-376-5015 10am-5pm EST
I have a 2010 and I adore my machine ❤️ The extra feet and the bar for the walking foot are ones I ended up buying anyway. And I’m sure I paid more than the asking price of this machine (my 2010 and all the feet)
This video was brief BUT You talk way too fast!!! I feel like I need to re-listen to the video. Just to catch what you said the first time. And I'm sure I will need to listen to it again after that.
Sorry, I was trying to fit lots of information into a short video. Feel free to grab a note pad and watch it and pause it to write some notes down :) -Boki

Hope you enjoy it!
My Juki TL 15 arrived in Alaska today ❤🎉

Thank you :)
I have the TL 2200 QVP Mini, and I absolutely love it. However, it seems that Juki is just renaming the same machine year after year.
I don't think they want to move away from this very well trusted and known machine.
Wow great help!

The 2020 came with tons of accessories! Beautiful machine.
I have never seen products for the Juki machines, so where can these products be purchased?

Ive just bought a TL 2300 (in UK)..........was I wrong, should I have waited for this machine????

This will be my next machine.
How does it compare to the TL-18? Thanks.
Its really just the TL-2010 with more accessories. It has no micro lifter
Does the Tl 2200 have a micro lifter?
No
I’ve been looking at this machine wondering what warranty and shipping is. I’m in Oregon

Marion- You can adjust the playback speed to make it go slower. I actually use it to make it go faster. 😊
