    Thank you David for this in depth comparison. I didn't know you guys go over each machine prior to shipping until spoke with you on the phone this past week. My TL2000 will be here Monday and I can't wait to get her set up. It took me two years to pull the trigger! I have been watching your vids for a long time and have shared your information with many. @JukiJunkies I am looking for a semi industrial professional sewing machine with straight + Zigzag. Without the need to switch the plate like the DX-4000QVP. Mostly regular sewing and less quilting. Thank you for your help.

    Love the video and all the information you gave. I got the 2010 as a birthday gift in 2020 and love it for sewing and free montioning small quilts, table runners and wall hangers. Its great sewing on vinyl, canvas and it has repaired our dining fly that we use in our travels out west for rhe winter stays in our 5th wheel. Highly recommend the Juki 2010q to my fellow quilters!

    Thank you for the comparison. I would also mention that the 18 allows for holding in the needle down/up button to take one or more slow stitches. This is useful when stitching around corners or curves.

    Note if you have a Quilting Frame and you want to use your machine on it with a Grace Stitch Regulator be sure to check the model suits. I bought a QVP2200 (version of a TL18) which is the quilting model but the regulator only suited the TL2010. Rgds Charmaine in Australia

      @@JukiJunkies I’m settling on the TL 2010Q. I have been sewing for a few years now and really want speed since I sew to sell. I’m also free motion sewing which gives me so much creative power to be original. And now that I just started quilting, I want to do the quilting myself. And honestly this model is reasonably priced for me.

    Great video I have a juki HZL LB5100 which I love, and it works for piecing quilt blocks together. But it does not have the throat space height. Or Weight, and it does not come close to comparing to the TLC machines. I love how you explained the differences on all the TLC machines. It was very informative and I save this video. And joined your site to receive all the videos. I can only aspire to hopefully in the near future to buy a TLC machine which I really really want. Looking forward to more of your videos, Thank You for your time and effort.

    Great video! I only use an industrial 8700-7 but that new EB-1 is so appealing. I'm sort of considering getting one of the TLs for home. All of these machines seem fairly similar- but maybe that's because the focus was on the physical differences and accessories. I'm a garment sewist. Do you think I'd find one of these more similar to my 8700? I'm also very curious if there's a pressure foot regulator. I like a lot of pressure. I saw the micro adjuster but that's more for the quilting crowd and negative pressure I think, right? Thanks!

    • @JukiJunkies
      @JukiJunkies  9 місяців тому +1

      You would find the machine is going to be very similar to the 8700! The 8700 is the industrial form of the TL. The microliter is also good for sewers that are sewing over thicker straps on bags and such if you don't see the need for a negative pressure foot pressure save some money and get the TL-2010!

    No one talks about interchanging universal high shank feet among juki models. By juki models, I mean those high shank machine you just showed and models you did not show. Also juki seems to treat purchasing customers differently. I found that australia folkes could get a fantastic bundle of feet that we in the Usa have trouble just finding. I just purchased the 2010 and bought a quilting frame with which to experiment. My machine is so sturdy and strong feeling. Wish it had better lighting. I understand that the 2010 is a relatively new model addition to the line. Liked your presentation. Thank you.

    I got a question for you. I have a 2010q. I love this machine. In the last year I have had problems with the bobbin winder. It gets stuck. I have had it into the shop several times. It’s in the shop again. The work is covered for 6 months. It’s so weired once that bobbin winder breaks down the machine doesn’t sew. It’s so frustrating. Any suggestions? Or am I ready for a new machine. Sure I like the 18. The price is steep. I already have quite a few feet that I use on a regular basis. If I was to purchase a machine from you is there any wiggle room on the accessories that 8 already have and don’t need duplicates. I love my Juki. I have a singer back up but it’s not a Juki.
