I was in the middle of tying two dozen clown eggs while listening to this. I'm glad I have the FFF seal of approval.
Lots of info for bass fishing, thanks guys👍
You guys are great. I enjoy listening to the banter and I catch good info in between. I will definitely be stopping in the shop next time I come through orem to visit my family.
Hahaha Comedy and fly fishing all rolled into one podcast
I came here to learn about tenkara. Did I pick the right video?
I love bass fishing. Plus I don't make any money doing this mostly just spend. I also enjoy just going out with minimal patterns (especially if their mine). Forces me to spend the time working on its performance and not just switch to something else.
LOVE the podcasts! Listen on the hour drive to an from work. One suggestion (and you may already be working on it.) Audio. There is so much variance in the vocals that it is hard to listen to. (Especially if someone is shouting and someone else is too far back. At the end of this one it was way better. I have to crank it to 11 when listening and (other podcasts are a little louder). Those directional mics are tricky for sure and you have to get all up on em. haha!
Thanks for doing it because I learn and LAUGH so much every episode. It seems weird listening to a podcast on fishing but I get it. Your site is top notch as well and I will be putting in some orders soon. I don't really have any local shops.
Haha love the pistol Pete. They are also in my fly box.
@Fly Fish Food Do you guys ever add scent to your plastic worm patterns? It seems that the squirm worm is a gateway pattern to some of the patterns that Berkley offers. Or would that be "against the rules?"
I am concerned about the lack of the security brace across the door behind you.
Can I just use a surgeons know to attach fluorocarbon tippet to a mono leader?
Travis Prawitt yes. While we use fluorocarbon Tippet a lot. Most of the time the actual leader is nylon.
Will u be uploading the rest of this. Can't find the tenkara talk 🤔
We covered that for 30 seconds before starting the recording
@@FlyFishFood blame it on curtis not having the "technical " stuff going. 👌
Red Dart rules....
Harpoon - for your reference to barbs - they look like harpoons.
yes indeed
The audio needs to be turned up. Doesn't anybody do a quality check before uploading videos?
Yikes, thanks for the suggestion. We'd never thought of that... we'll delete this one shortly...
leadoff hitters can`t hit Grand slams!!!!! In the first Inning and if your living by the rule book, your not catching any fish !
I’m U.K. based dispiriting to hear people have so little regard for whitefish... just don’t get why anyone would have that attitude. The ‘famous’ U.K. chalkstreams used to be managed with a similar ethos, only trout were welcome grayling, pike and any general coarse species were removed
Thankfully it’s a lot more enlightened these days and grayling are now just as prized by most.. how could anyone think killing loads of grayling was morally right... a beautiful fish, the equal of any trout...
I agree. In the U.S.A. brown trout are an introduced species. And rainbow trout are also an introduced species in most of the states. These introduced fish are responsible for almost the extinction of brook trout in the mountains of the southeast.
Audio blows guys
Yes. However, it doesn't blow now. :)
