Adam be careful when you go close to big ships especially behind them, cause if there's a lot of bubbles in the sea you can go down, cause bubbles will not support the weight of your PWC. I had a PWC im talking from experience and it's scary, you just feel it drowning.
WTF? Perhaps if there were a vertical column of bubbles underneath from a sinking vessel, but what you're probably experiencing is a change in hydrodynamics due to changing water surface, density. Not drowing.

Very impressive, I had no idea that a SeaDoo could do all this. Catalina looks lovely. Speaking of which the Catalina was an aircraft I enjoyed building as a model kit. It would be interesting to see a video covering more of the SeaDoo range and what each vehicle is best suited to. This Fish model seems rather like a touring motorcycle on the water to me. Thank you.

Tried scuba diving at Cat when I was 19 back in 1982 but got a bloody nose after diving 25 feet so apparently it's not my gig. I always wanted to go on a wave runner to Cat but didn't know you can do a tour. I may have to do that next summer when I come down for a visit. Thanks for this awesome video.

Aloha Adam, what a great video! I’ve done this trip out of Davey’s Locker from Newport and Long Beach, just not on a Sea Doo but I will admit, it looks like a lotta fun. As to your EPIRB, you actually don’t need to throw it into the water, lol. In Australia, these are mostly used on land for when people get lost or the case a few years ago, three jeeps 4 wheeling out in the bush or outback when it started raining really badly. They ended up parking their Jeeps on top of a hill and could only see water for miles. They activated their EPIRB and a helicopter came and picked them up. They had to wait until the following spring to retrieve their jeeps. My wife and I use to go camping at Hermits Gulch, which is a blast. You’re with walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. The coolest part was all the deer that would come up to us, they were very friendly. Fishing around Catalina Island is fantastic also. If I didn’t live here in Hawaii, I could see myself living on Catalina Island, no worries. Great video, I look forward to one when you go by yourself and maybe tow your camping gear and Duraflame logs(no wood burning allowed) which you can also purchase at the ranger station nearby. I just checked the prices, not much different from 20 years ago, a great adventure.
