I need help and you maybe able to help me. I have this thickened, doughy, fluidity legs that presented when my thyroid went extremely hypo. My thyroid medication was switched from levothyroxine to Armour and a pretty high dose-120.
After 3 months of the new medication, my thyroid numbers are finally within range but I still have these doughy, fluidity legs. I was a distance runner with Olympic aspirations and obviously am devastated, discouraged & frustrated to say it mildly. I am aware an enzyme deficiency can occur as a result of hypothyroidism where excess mucin builds up in the dermis. Do you know what enzyme this and how I correct this or supplement? Started relapsing back into eating disorder behaviors because of this.😢 I really need help and I have a feeling you have this knowledge; the doctors I have be to are useless!
