The Times They Are A-Changin’
WRITTEN BY: BOB DYLAN
Come gather ’round people
Wherever you roam
And admit that the waters
Around you have grown
And accept it that soon
You’ll be drenched to the bone
If your time to you is worth savin’
Then you better start swimmin’ or you’ll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin’
Come writers and critics
Who prophesize with your pen
And keep your eyes wide
The chance won’t come again
And don’t speak too soon
For the wheel’s still in spin
And there’s no tellin’ who that it’s namin’
For the loser now will be later to win
For the times they are a-changin’
Come senators, congressmen
Please heed the call
Don’t stand in the doorway
Don’t block up the hall
For he that gets hurt
Will be he who has stalled
There’s a battle outside and it is ragin’
It’ll soon shake your windows and rattle your walls
For the times they are a-changin’
Come mothers and fathers
Throughout the land
And don’t criticize
What you can’t understand
Your sons and your daughters
Are beyond your command
Your old road is rapidly agin’
Please get out of the new one if you can’t lend your hand
For the times they are a-changin’
The line it is drawn
The curse it is cast
The slow one now
Will later be fast
As the present now
Will later be past
The order is rapidly fadin’
And the first one now will later be last
For the times they are a-changin’

I fully expected Jesus to come on at the end of the show. What a day!
Yes Bob they sure are God bless you man you've always been here
I love how Mick Taylor spends the whole time looking to Eric Clapton for approval to play, like he's waiting for the nod from the boss, meanwhile he's freakin' Mick Taylor!
Precious memories! They have filmed the crowd and the people at the rail and from mn/ 01.23 to mn /05.36 I can see on the left side of the stage, poor Dennis Grice with a serious face behind his glasses then a tall and thin guy with a white T-shirt and me (with dark hair) dressed in black shaking my arm then my head....exhausted but happy to see Bob Dylan and the band playing again.....
I have posted a few other songs on my channel but no more good crowd scenes unfortunately
Santana always on tracks with his guitar thats wonderful nice music ĺong live sounds with Bob on the sweet melody i feel more relaxing and happy listening to this music good old days never come back heish
Seeing MT Clapton + Carlos together ... 🌟🌟🌟

Are blessed from God...🛐🤝🦋
DANKESCHÖN 🧘♀️🌿
@@yamapenny5960 Yeah Bob was one of the subversive agents at the beginning of the 60's. He didn't know it but he cottoned on I think.
Bob Dylan"s voice is known in all the world so connected as we're living now! 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
I was there that day .A great concert. There were so many great artists then and great music unlike the manufactured stuff today
Wow! What were the artists painting?
What a party that was. And to see Dylan give a big smile at the end was great.
1984-1986 seems to be the end of Bob I loved. Later, he become someone of another kind,, so sorry.
SEEET CHRISSIE HYNDE
FABULOUS CONCERT,
EL MAGO SANTANA
MASTER BOB DYLAN
El mejor requinto Santana
At this concert as a 19 year old from the Southside of Glasgow remember like it yesterday just brilliant
Wonderful video bringing some fantastic performances and surprises in great sound pushes death and postpone it every day and night .❤❤❤
Now the times are changing but without hapiness. Grandísimo Dylan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No wonder Bob is grinning from ear to ear; all stars all around.
Unreal. Historic. And yeah, timely as hell right now.
I'll add: Mighty. Heroic even.
Saw this show in Munich , never will forget . Been 21 back then ❤
Definitely a favourite Bob Dylan song. Thanks. ❤
FABULOUS performance, without needing to be said really. To me anyway one of the best live "versions" of this timeless piece sung by Bob... Chrissie, Carlos, all the rest are obviously into it too. As always TY & be well Woolhall
Abundant quality. Exceptional
Sooo much passion!!!
BUT WE ARE IN VERY BAD TIME NOW ......THANKS WOOLHY ♥♥♥
Wow, how cool to see them live like that! Thank you!
My late husband I know seen this concert ❤
I LIKE When artists combined gigy
Hard to sing a duet with Dylan. But I love it.
Thanks again Wools! 🙏
I’m back here because it’s a Happy 76th Birthday to Carlos Santana! 🎂🎸
I have been checking out uploads of Bob with Carlos this morning and your upload is so superior in sound and footage to the others I’ve watched or listened to! 🌹
I love Bob and Carlos so much here! 🤍
Happy Birthday Carlos and thanks Nissi x
The Gig still stands the Test of Times.
nice to see Chrissie Hynde knew all all the words to this
Amazing 👌 What foresight. The words relevant to the sixties are as relevant even now 🤨
Wow, wow, wow!!
Great greater greatest
Whew whoosh inspring always has and all ways will be no matter the seasons in one day ta awesome timeless upload woolhall I really really like these 🌻✨🌈🙂
I used to have this, years ago (but in much worse quality, & with time code on the screen). Shot by an MTV cameraman, in parts of this show he films the ground for a few seconds. He’s moving around not just to get a variety of shots, but to get away from Bill Graham. “I told you, you can only shoot 30 seconds at a time !” Graham screams at one point 🤣
i had the same copy!!Bill graham the gangster!! thank the heavens that the camera man ignored him!!
my god - we thought the times were changing for the best during the 60's and 70's but things got more materialistic when we thought that old paradigm was leaving with a new generation for peace & love - WTF happened?
Old paradigms ARE changing...It just takes time...Look closely. Look deeply. Look all around. Old paradigms ARE CHANGING- crumbling. Things, they are a-changin'...
…and Chrissie Hynde, yeah!
Best video upload from Bob's Birthday of all Dylan channels that I've seen . I'm just sorry because I'm a bit later ... I'm recharging my battery (heavy times , I hope they are a-changin') .
It's hard to find better today .
Good Morn to you A! Great sound upgrade and the footage is great! Thanks friend!🤍✨
A kricie 😀 e Bob 🎶🎶Santana 💃💃
Good one
If only someone who could hold a camera steady had been there!
Eric Clapton too!
Wie heißt es so schön? "Jetzt hat er`s, mein Gott, jetzt hat er`s (kapiert)."
A woman standing next to me at Wembley, asked "Who's the bloke next to Bob?"
I replied, accurately, "Chrissie Hind"...
Hynde
Chrissie Hynde is the coolest. She's the real deal.
we all love Chrissie 🙂
🎼🎼🎼⭐️
funny how
they move
Hynde waving
Santana bending
Dylan going down knees
Slow Hand Clapton not moving at all
En los créditos no mencionan a Carlos Santana ni Eric Clapton en las guitarras!!! Tampoco a Chrissie Hynde en los coros!!!
and we didn't listen did we
and we would listen real close , about 6 meter in front of the stage. No security needed , only love ❤️
This must be from Wembley Stadium '84? I was at that concert and remember Chrissie Hynde's excruciatingly off key and out of time vocals all too well ! Clapton's guitar solo elevated some rather pedestrian musicianship on this song by the remainder of Dylan's band!
U are so right I notice she was quite off I was wonder if she just too high 😂but this is priceless for me to being to see this perform
Why was she struggling ?? 🤔
The whole thing sounded unrehearsed dangling a song that everybody already knew ...idk
Hello there, do you know the date and location of this performance?
What was this show? Great line up!
European tour 1984 . Ah those were the days …
Who is the guitar players in the white coat?
Mick Taylor I think
@@izzybaby4847 for sure
Yes, the guitar player in question was Mick Taylor - I was at this show as a teenager and he was easily the main stand-out player of the entire evening's show! :-)
No se que hace Chris Hinde realmente
Dylan santana and mick Taylor
Could it get any bettet
Has he ever played in China?
(I see that the answer is yes, in 2010-11. ....)
I was there and at Newcastle Bob at his best just wish he sang on his own because she ruined it
Chrissie is loved by so many people. She‘s never ruined nothing …
@@michaelworse6034 have you even listened to the song ? I was there you idiot and she completely ruined the song so fuckoff and bore someone else
It was mocks solo Clapton over stepped so mick continued to play with him lol showing him that he’s easily better
Chrissie Hynde has a bloody cheek to get on stage to sing backing with Dylan and she doesn't even know the words, what a talentless cow
C‘mon don‘t be unfair , will you ? Chrissie looks quite stoned , but happy ,and that’s the most important thing for me ! Love&Peace ..
Mick Taylor seems lost between Santana and Clapton-he is every bit the player they are but never made it on his own like they did. He never made the transition. Too bad, he is my favorite--but you can watch him, no smiles, no interaction with either Santana or Clapton. Too bad.
Didn’t sell out it’s plain as day he didn’t want all that comes with becoming a house hold name. Same a rort Gallagher plenty of players were known but not a house hold name
