Prior to her rise to fame as "Miss Hurst," Linda was training to become a dental hygienist. I can't speak for the rest of the guys viewing this one, but if I found out I had an appointment to see Linda for a cleaning, I'd consume an entire package of Oreos while in the waiting room.
Great Video of Linda, She's the First Lady of Drag Racing, I've known Linda for 50 years now , She's still the best thing since slice bread !!! She has class, Style, and as beautiful as ever . Was at SEMA in Vegas with her this year, and She still draws the most people to her for autographs. She's a Lady !!!
Remembrance I was 23 and had a summer job for the Molson brewerie advertising agency They spounsored the Grand national Molson (74 ) Miss Vaughn was present And I was responsable of her comfort and get for her what she was needing God what a lady Beautifful of course but charming, polite simple She s still beautifull as i can see
i had the pleasure of seeing her @ maybe 4 events in the 70's U can't believe HOW amazing it was. It was IMPORTANT if SHE was THERE, whenever LEGENDARY..
I met her at the Hot Rod and Auto Show in Washington D.C. around 1975, (I was 19) got an autographed picture from her and she drew a heart on it for me too!! I was thrilled! My first wife threw it away without telling me. Sigh.
Maybe 10 years ago at Silver Springs, Fl my wife and I took our '55 Chevy to a car event. People kept asking my wife to stand near a Hurst Olds and pose for photos. She wore a mini skirt and cleavage showing blouse. Nothing special. I decided to ask young couples why? Their answer was they thought my wife was Linda Vaughn! What a great compliment.
If any of you have Sirius, the godfather of motorsports, dave moody, will have a 1 hour interview with her today @ 6pm est on Sirius Speedway, Sirius Nascar channel 90
