I got this bow for Christmas. I have done lots of target practice with it and I absolutely LOVE it! I have not been able to take it hunting yet because I don’t have my license. (I am getting it currently). Also I don’t have a heavy enough draw weight but I am a child. Love the bow and thanks for the review so I could get a second opinion.
@@TheBudgetSportsman 😆😆😆 love it! So we ended up getting our daughter (11) this bow after shooting the borrower bows from the range and she is doing AMAZING with it, thank you so much for the video! It was nice buying a bow that I was able to see and knew could be adjusted and suitable for a long time, it was a good investment and this video definitely swayed me towards it :)
I killed a 150 inch maryland whitetail buck with this bow at 40. If you max the draw weight out at 70 pounds, you can get your first pin to shoot 40 yards and under
Thanks for the input. I’m a huge fan of teaching people to shoot with a bow that’s fitted to them. I’m not a fan the infinity setting on bows. I’m sure it has its place.
Question for you. I tried holding one of these at the store but the handle is very small. My question is do they make an adapter for the handle? Seem like a good beginners bow but I have big hands.
Dan, That’s a good question. I am not aware of any adapter or grip that can be swapped out on this bow. Generally only high end bows have different grip options. Keep in mind that the grip of a bow is not intended to be held with a closed, tight grip like you might grip a shovel. You need to have a loose open grip on the bow. This prevents twisting or torquing the bow at the shot. This is the reason why many bows have thin grips that don’t really fill your hand. I am not sure if you are asking about the bow I am reviewing here or the VXR. The Diamond Infinite Edge Pro is a fantastic beginner bow. It is user adjustable for draw length and weight which makes it a great choice. I do not have any experience with the VXR, but I have heard a lot of great things about that bow. I am sure you would be happy with it.
I just ordered this bow as my first bow to get into hunting. I am currently 18 and just starting out. Will this bow work for deer hunting and other types of hunting or did I rob myself?
It will ABSOLUTELY work for deer hunting! This bow is my wife's bow, but if I ever have an issue with my bow I would have no problem taking it off the shelf, making a few adjustments and going hunting with it. It will kill a deer just as dead as any other bow. I would recommend watching some videos on bow tuning. This bow can be tuned without a press if you have a little patience, and it is a great way to make sure you are getting all you can out of your bow.
Sure. It can go up to 70 pounds and people certainly kill elk with less than 70 pounds. I would try to find a local archery shop to give you some advice on what weight you should be shooting and what arrow setup would be good for that weight.
Great job reviewing the bow and it's versatility AND introducing a young kid to archery. Thanks for the great video.
Thanks for your kind comment. I'm glad you enjoyed the video.

Your welcome! Keep practicing and you will get stronger and be ready to hunt before you know it!
Thanks for the great review. I'm just getting into archery and think this is the bow for me.
I’m glad you enjoyed the review. I think it is a great choice for a beginner bow. I hope you enjoy it!
Infinity setting is great mod. Makes a shared bow
Oh my goodness Paul melted my heart ❤ what a cutie!
He’s 11 now and I’m sure he would love being called cute 😂

Thanks for the feedback. Congrats on your buck!
You should demonstrate infinity setting. Missed that.
Great for shared bow
