slightly harder than Touhou 7, but still sorta easy. unless you play on lunatic
one of the cooler games because you can actually fight the other playable characters! had a ton of fun with that one
i really hate how you have to basically beat the game twice to get the good ending. so i tried to make sure it wasn't too repetitive in the storyline. hope y'all still like it

i went through like 5 different skit ideas just for this extra stage lmao

my very first idea was before i actually beat the extra stage legitimately, it was only gonna be kaguya winning a bet against mokou, then mokou losing her shit
then i thought about marisa and alice playing the stage and malice-cannoning mokou (except i just couldn't actually beat mokou with the malice cannon)
then i randomly beat mokou in-game with youmu and yuyuko so i decided to have them play the extra stage.
first idea was to have youmu evolve into british youmu and shank mokou (kinda like in PCB stage 5 to reimu)
then i thought about yuyuko pulling out a jelly-filled donut to eat while watching youmu and mokou fighting, then mokou freaking out and fainting
then i came up with mokou driving a pickup truck, and that's what i finally settled with :D
@@satyman08 now I want to see a bloopers vid called “5 Ways To Beat Mokou” that is exactly this.

This also means that Reimu and Marisa canonically swear which was hinted at when they fought in Stage 4.
it's funny it says "sakuya (+remi assist)" when in reality Remilia carries the team hard and Sakuya's damage output is piss poor.
Marisa pounding Yukari to dust was literally what I really wanted to see. I haven’t ever laughed that hard ever so thank you so much. That was truly spectacular to see Yukari getting owned.
i always hated how overly pretentious yukari seemed to be as a character, so i had to make that scene. you're welcome for that :D
Touhou 8 was such an amazing game
I don't think there's a single mainline Touhou game that can top it.
Marisa saying "Bitch get out the way" makes it a 10 / 10 for most people. This guy makes the characters swear so that line had to resonate with them in order for that to happen.
You don't add a bunch of swearing in Stage 4 specifically for no reason.

2. Did you actually finish the marisa fight legit and beat reisen with what you had?
3. Why didn't you use magic team and make a joke out of the malice cannon? I see some potential in that
1. it's a character arc for reimu: she gets a rising level of confidence each game starting from EoSD (EoSD on Normal, PCB on Hard, IN on Lunatic).
once she experiences the terror of lunatic mode, she gets traumatized, and backs down on difficulty level to never mess with it again (MoF on Hard, SA and beyond on Normal).
