I’ve said this before and will always stand by it. David Tennant is my favorite but Christopher Eccleston was given a impossible task, to resurrect a entire fallen empire, and you know what, the man pulled it off.
Ngl I didn't even realise this was a small video, because it's made so well it could hold up against those annoyingly formulaic essays that pop up with their thousands of likes. I loved this, so make more!
Thank you for reminding me that old works stand on their own lovingly crafted feet. the old greats are still great and can't really be corrupted by additions or reinterpretations. And that I shouldn't allow my perception of those things that I've loved for so long to be determined and poisoned by the modernal infectious cyst that has appeared on it.
I think this turned out pretty well, save for a few little things like the slightly too long silence and the overlapping/overstaying music at the end. Overall though, it’s a solid addition to the Doctor Who playlist.
If you are referring to me ranting with not much sense thats kinda what i was going for, just a rant about the 9th doctor since ive had it on my chest for a while and just wanted an output, but never the less even if negative thank you for the comment
Solid video! While Matt Smith is my favorite Dr since he was the first I watched, Chris Eccleston is still the best to me in terms of presenting the Dr as a character!
the reason why people still call him the 9th even though hes tecnically 11, not 10, because vugitive also happens pre9, is because most people name them in order of appearance, and with recent information like the episode rouge he might even be 12 since shalka was included there
also ontop of that the bbc also refers to him as 9 so theres no reason to not call him since there are 2 catagories of doctors, the numbered and the special, special doctors are unuiqe ones often associated to their events because of their importance to the timeline or story, for example, war, fugitive, and shalka, so he is still the 9'th numbered doctor if you like it or not, take it up with the bbc if its an issue for you
Because Christopher Eccleston suddenly being called the Tenth Doctor after years of calling him the Ninth would confuse the hell out of casual fans. It gets even more confusing once you start referring to Matt Smith as the 13th Doctor, then you start adding the timeless ones and before you know it William Hartnell is the 26th Doctor. Best to only include the Doctor's that actually had an era in the official numbering.
@@cameroncaws8506 It's not hard to change the numbers in your head. People are just too lazy to do it. Every time I refer to the 10th Doctor, I'm talking about Ecclestone.

I much preferred rose to Amy Pond who was just a total narcissist with attitude whereas Rose was more beautiful and didn't have to have attitude to go with it. Eccelston was my 2nd fav doctor after Tom Baker. Much better than Tennant who had the pretty boy attitude with his persona which we didnt need. I loved Eccelstons eccentricity and much as Bakers that what Doctor Who is
Hmm, likes women to look beautiful but not have 'attitude'. Doesn't like pretty boys. I'm not sure you have a great future in art criticism, but if you ever get the chance to time travel back to the 1950s, you should take it, although perhaps avoid hanging out with the Beat Generation.
@@TheFictionForgers not really as he is actually saying there's not many women left without attitude. Ergo, he is actually already handing them the guilty attitude verdict by saying they became extinct since the 50s.

Thanks for taking the time to check it out. Feel free to stick around; it’s very possible that more stuff like this will be posted in the future.
Thank you very much indeed (Six speaking), I love this franchise so much that i cant help but do videos like these so be assured more are coming!

Matt Smith did an incredible job none the less and functions as an amazing counterpart to the second doctor
One problem here. Christopher Ecclestone is the 10th Doctor. John Hurt is the 9th. I wish people would stop calling him War Doctor.
