Love this video!! Only one issue though. You mentioned that because the dragon can undo the erasure of the universe zalama must be more powerful than Zeno, but this is a bit of falicy as the namekian dragon and the earth dragon can undo deaths/destruction caused by people more powerful than their creators. It is still an interesting theory though
I still think that Zalama split himself into the namekian race "that's why they can re-fuse with any other namekians and it increasestheirpower so drastically" and they are only in universe 6 and 7 which would explain why the super dragon balls are only in those universes. This would also explain why he is absent but still alive and why the universal dragonballs are still functioning.

I always thought, since the days before Super, it would be cool if the Dragon Balls were made from actual stars. This would explain why each ball has a star inside them, they shoot across the sky like a shooting star after a wish is made, and it playing into the cliche “if you wish upon a Star.”

The Divine calendar to me is how man years that existence itself has been in reality.
If the dragon balls can not exceed the power of its creator then the creator of the super dragon balls is most likely all mighty and over Zeno due to the fact it can undo Zeno's powers and Zeno even takes a stand out of respect to the dragon when summoned. Zalama probably over sees the omniverse and my theory is that the dragon balls were a gift to balance out the omni kings power knowing he is a child who will delete a universe out of anger. The super dragon balls were not erased when universe 6 was meaning they are not connected to that universe but they rest there. Now why it was gifted to universe 6 & 7 vs across the multiverse is a mystery to me still. Another theory is that maybe Zalama foreseen Goku and that was his reason for placing them in 7 knowing one day the universe's would be at risk and Goku possessed the selfless heart to restore it all. And another thing, Zeno is bound to time due to the fact he can be brought from another timeline within his multiverse. So to me Zeno is a God of Destruction of the dbz universe specifically. Like a child, if he sees something that makes him angry, he will want to get rid of it. Its his reality and he owns it given to him by Zalama. Zalama is the God of Creation which is obvious. This is just what I think about all of this.
The subliminal message I see is that we are like children who are given the power to create life and destroy it at will. It's very scary. I'm sure thats how the Dbz character's in T.O.P felt. They could be erased because a child didn't like what they had seen or they were lied to.
Plus Zeno in theory to me is probably a child that explains a piece of Toriyama's childhood or what a child is like through his eyes. the angels are watching and protecting him and all he wants to do is play, watch cool fights and have fun. He owns the DBZ universe

But weren't the super dragonballs destoryed twice. Once when black destoryed them in the other universe and twice when future zeno destoryed the universe. Meaning the balls can't balance the power of zeno as zeno can destory the super dragonballs. Plus the super dragonballs granted zamasu immortality but zeno was still able to kill me, meaning that the super dragonballs do have some sort of limitation
@Martin Ramirez technically speaking, zeno isn't even a god. He didn't create anything. He's referred to as the king of kings and ruler of the universe. Yes he's killed everyone in the universe but then again he has a scrawny body, has body guards and can't see faster than the speed of light

I think Toriyama should really watch Geekdom’s videos to see how deep some of his creations really go while he might have just created them with no intention for any of this. Only then he can write upon them and explore even more.

Really fun series; loved the unsolved mysteries theme. I feel like the super dragon balls will become a major part in an upcoming story arc, likely as a way for the main characters to further unlock / realize potential. Discover new forms, abilities, etc. Possibly even as a means to combat allies turned villains...i.e. vs GoD, Angels, Grand Priest!

I think Zalamu must be tied to the Namekians somehow. I mean the Super Dragonballs only exist in the universes that the Namekians reside in. I actually like the idea of the Namekians possibly being the descendants of Zalama. It makes sense to me. It would also help to explain the more mystical elements of the race.
I absolutely am in love with Unsolved Mysteries the show and I absolutely love the opening to this awesome new series, it legitimately makes me laugh and smile, I love this idea and I am very surprised that you haven't done this before.

I hope the Animators and Akira Toriyama Dive into more about the origin of the Dragon Balls. I mean it been soo many years of Dragon Ball and We have not been introduced to a saga related to that. It would be great for the future of the series as it will help the series come up with a more story driven anime than a fighting only anime.
The first tourney in Super was about them. And they were plot points in the other two. DB is what it is. It's not a "story driven" anime. That wouldn't help it.

And i disagree with what your point was for xeno. I believe zeno is stronger than zalama because zeno was able to KILL zamasu. Therefore his level of immortality is lower that zenos capabilities to destroy.

How do we know zarama is dead to my knowledge it was never stated he died and for all we know whis might have been lying about zeno being the strongest if the dragon balls are tied to the power and life force of its creator and super shenron can undo what zeno did then it can be implied zarama is equal to or greater than zeno.

2. If zalama is stronger than zeno then when super Shenron made zamasu immortal, zeno would have not been able to kill zamasu. Because zalamas abilities are weaker than zenos, the super dragonballs abilities to make someone immortal are also limited and this zeno is able to kill zamasu
3. Bringing someone back to life does not make you strong at all. Remember the normal dragonballs brought trunks back to life but we are 100% sure than piccolo is not stronger than cell. Same thing for when buu blew up the planet

In DBS anime it was explained that God's of Destruction and a Supreme Kais are pairs, if one dies they both die.
I noticed that Zeno is a destroyer God and not a creator, but the Grand Preist was the one to summon the dragon and so I can't help suspect that Zalama is actually the name Grand Priest, since it hasn't yet been stated by any of the other angels as to what Grand Priest's real actual name is.
I'm pretty sure the grand priest name is just grand priest. Just like how the supreme kais name are supreme kai

Recently, in the manga it was revealed by Whis that there exists a world of angels. Maybe the same is true for other gods or beings(like a world of dragons) Which makes it evident of the types of users that the Super Dragon Balls were meant for being more prevalent

Zalama could be the child of someone from Universe 6, and another from 7.
If he's Namekian then that wouldn't work.
If he's Namekian his egg could originate from Universe 6, but hatched in Universe 7(or the other way around).
I don't think a Namekian could live that long unless he was selected to be a god, and not only has a Nanekians life span, but a gods on top of that(I feel like it's safe to assume being a god in Dragonball allows you to live for a long time based off of The God of Destructions who seem to have been mortals at some point).

@@nathanlamont9920 Analyzing is based on data. Extrapolation and speculation are extensions of that data. Toriyama gave enough information for speculation to occur (as opposed to extrapolation because extrapolation deals with graphs)
Here's my theory, Zalama is a faceless plot device used to both generate intrigue and avoid explaining the super dragon balls. Maybe we'll get that changed in the next decade or so
No character in dragonball is a faceless plot device. Some may be gags or parodies, but none are faceless.

A fan theory says Zeno is the Destroyer of THIS multiverse, with GP being his angel, and Zalama being his supreme kai.
Good thing is with Toyotaro taking a bigger role in things, and having a fan-fic background, maybe he will be more keen to pepper some hints throughout his story arcs in the future.

My theory is that Zarama is the original Omni King who created the Cosmos and everything and watched over it until he eventually got tired of the job and created the Zenos take over his place and have the Grand Priest watch over them as a baby sister and possible mentor. Then he created the Super Dragon Balls for the higher gods to use if need be. As for the Super Dragon Balls location and why they are only in Universe 6 and 7, its probably because he knew how dangerous they could be in others hands and decided to make one set. Perhaps those two universes got them because Zarama liked those two universes and their gods. I mean even the Grand Priest likes Universe 7 so maybe there is a connection there.

One thing that I have always wondered about when it comes to dragon balls in general is this: It is said that dragon balls can't grant a wish that is beyond the power of the creator. However, when it comes to the Earthling and Namekian dragon balls, Shenron and Porunga have always felt stronger than Kami/Dende/Guru/Moori/Esca to me. For example, Shenron can revive everyone on planet Earth with a single wish (as can Porunga). Can Dende himself do that though? Could Kami or Guru do that? The only non-dragon characters that I can think of that we have actually seen revive someone from the dead are Whis and the elder Kaioshin (who revived Goku at the cost of his own life). At the end of the fight with Kid Buu, Porunga was able to restore Goku to full power (which is what allowed Goku to go Super Saiyan again and finish off Kid Buu with the Super Spirit Bomb). However, Goku's full power (which was at the time Super Saiyan 3) was much higher than the power of Elder Moori or Dende. Basically, I am getting at the fact that the wishes granted by the eternal dragons seem to do things that the creators of the balls have shown no sign of being able to do themselves (e.g. Shenron was able to revive everyone that Cell killed, but I doubt that Dende can do that. If Dende can do that, then why didn't he? Why even gather the balls if Dende can do it himself?). This is despite the statement that the dragon can't do something that is outside of the power of the creator.
That is why that statement is somewhat of a source of confusion for me. Forgive me if the series has already touched on this and I am forgetting it. This is just something that I have been thinking about for awhile.

It’s funny because in order to actually use the balls you have to not only know the special phrase, but also be strong enough to casually transport planet sized objects around two universes. That means only gods and divine people were supposed to be able to use them. Or massive people.

What gets me is why the Namekian Dragon is Parunga. You'd think all dragons would be some variation of Shenron, not just the Earth dragon. I mean its not like Toriyama would have just forgotten about Parunga when he decided to make Super Shenron... oh wait.. You'd think if anything it should be Super Parunga.
Zalama the Namekian God, to show some love to the Namekians after such a long time, creates everything and is probably somewhere sleep or just in the shadows chilling. Having a sense of pride for his multiple creations. But this has me thinking that Zalama is the Supreme Kai to Zeno's G.o.D. basically doing the same things. Watching his multiple creations in either a happy-calm father type or creepy scientist type not really caring but enjoying the entertainment of his eternal life of boredom. To possibly bring aboard the start of a new universe? For what exactly? Idk, maybe the What-Ifs for Dragon Ball.
It's like how we thought the divine hierarchy only went up to the Supreme Elder Kai prior to this G.O.D structure. You are astute in realizing the scope of what the super dragonballs implies....and therefore the simplest answer is that it's true. There IS something that has the ability to override Zeno's ability. And leaving the balls to them under his power in order to rectify anything that would need to occur.
Small theory i think whoever made those super dragon balls are even stronger then zeno and grand priest
Whis never told bulma to talk to talk to zuno. Bulma was scared of beerus' potential wish so she hit up jaco to take her there to try and find a way to cancel out his wish

I look at all the dragonball unsolved mysteries and lure that are in the series are like Gohan. So much potential to become something great and contributes a lot to the story, but just ends up being forgotten about and left behind when moving onto the next arc.
