I defeated him violently both battles with him I didn't think it'd effect anything lol. This chapter's really going back on the whole 'your actions don't have consequences' thing chapter 1 set up.
I feel like the true lore behind this battle immediately slipped everyone's mind. Basically, Queen and her kingdom gains power whenever people from the real world even touch their phones. Even the littlest things like merely turning on your device to check the time grants power to her kingdom. But recently, the Wi-Fi went down, meaning people were no longer able to search for stuff on the web, or do basically do anything involving Wi-Fi, meaning her kingdom was significantly Wi-Fi. Like every normal person would do when the internet's down, Queen went ballistic because of this. Thinking it to be the end of the world (even though Wi-Fi outages are a common thing that just go away in the span of a few days), she frantically searched everywhere for a solution (which is kind of ironic, now that I see it in words), until at one point, she came across a video of the Knight opening a fountain. Grasping at straws, she thought that, maybe, by opening up dark fountains, she could find a solution to her problem and solve everything. And that's what made her into the person she is, now.
the way dark Worlds seem to function is kind of interesting really this dark world was probably created by Noelle as she was sitting in front of one of the computers in the Library doing her "strange and sad searches" it would explain why the entire world is kind of centered around her, with the Queen in particular being so obsessed with her it´s filled with things Noelle secretly enjoys or would like to do (like a ride on a ferris wheel with the person she likes) but also with the things she is afraid of like mice or an obsessive, overprotective mother figure in the shape of the Queen who would put her into a golden cage to fulfill her ideal of happiness for her the Queen is probably sincere about caring for Noelle and wanting to make her happy, but in the end she is a machine, she is the computer that received Noelles calls for help and now tries to help but cannot process them properly due to being what she is... a computer in contrast: the first dark world seemed to have a huge focus on Susie's wish to finally make pals with someone and or let loose for once and stomp everything in her path, which took form in the shape of Lancer, who is the Jack of Spades and his father who is kind of a mirror to her own cruel old self both stories end with the characters in Question either having learned something about themselves or changed in a way Susie, opening up to the people around her to the point where she can seemingly maintain a good friendship and standing up for others, and Noelle at least partially getting over her insecurities and managing to speak her mind against this oppressive mother figure what would be interesting to know is whether these mini-universes can exist on their own or whether or not they shape themselves entirely according to that one persons hopes and desires and seize to exist if the person in question were to forget or pass away for example there is also still the question as to who - or what - Ralsei is and what Kris's role is in this entire matter overall these seem to be all very personal stories about character and I wonder what Mr Fox dishes out next
There is no "power". The power is simply the fact that we can't live without computers and this is also true for lightners in Deltarune. The queen is interpreting Lightners using her and other computers at the library as adoration because that's what a computer would think if it could, and while she existed before the fountain was opened, she only existed as a computer in the light world and simply processed their interaction as adoration and took a liking to Noelle specifically because of her searches.
a cool detail I noticed is if ralsei defends on the first turn (the one where he talks to queen) he actually pulls his scarf down to talk then puts it back up when the attack begins
One of the things I like most about this fight is that the shield mechanic actually makes it so that ACTing isn't always the most valuable strategy; FIGHTing the shield, in my playthrough at least, was far more efficient than trying to toast it away. Given that the rest of the game punishes you for FIGHTing at almost every opportunity, it's nice to have a reason to actually use the mechanic and the stat boosts from your equipment.
Actully when it comes to enemies that have a lot of HP and dont die that easily fighting can be really useful. At half HP ore below they become tired and Ralsei can Pacify them. That is how I defeated that 3 headed enemy at the Dojo. Some acts can be kinda annoying to pull of so this is a great alternative. Suzies Red Buster comes in handy
The wiki states Princess Shroob as a likely reference, with an aspect or two of Swiggler thrown in. I’d also mention the robot master Acid Man, but they didn’t.

@@diplodoncalus same, i got counter punched by queen to the brim, i think i even lost to her more than i did to the secret boss, however, the secret boss in a certain route got me good, took me a while to beat them, and it makes me feel stupid cuz i didnt know xslash was a thing until later on and i was able to beat them
I like how in this final battle Susie and Ralsei have their ultimate abillities (Red buster and Dual heal) like if they REALLY are putting effort during this fight I hope that every chapter have that in the final battles
Ralsei caried me with his healing through the Neo Spamton fight. I am greatful but it was still tough and I really wish I had dual heal in that fight. Its also cool to see how Ralseis healing gets stronger as I increase his Magic with equipmeant.

imo, its actually better to throw rather than group loosen (if you are willing to wait to concentrate in the throwing bit) group loosen ensures you 15% loosen might fail, but if you succeed, you get somewhere 8%(?) to even higher than 15% and you still get to have a turn with ralsei for healing

In my opinion, the Queen's theme isn't as good as the King's but her battles are definitely harder. The final battle is new too. Wasn't expecting to resort to punch out. I'd say the final battle was easy, fun due to novelty.
Same, I think her whole boss battle (including the punchout part) was kinda less impactful than the King from chapter 1, if Berdley was fully controlled I think that would be a better boss fight, or if he was roboticized temporarily, and then him and queen switch attacks
@@henritaas9997 I feel like what made the King more impactful is the we hear about him, but we never see him until the very end. The Queen, however, we interact with her consistently, so when we got to her boss battles, its wasn't as impactful. However, I feel like Toby did a good job fleshing out the Queens character and the scenes with her shows.
Also I didnt really like Berdley as much as much as Lancer, so I didn't feel too threatened (or leveraged at least) by the Queen as I did with the King (I mean, Queen did have Noelle, but she was kinda off screen during this moment)

I’m new to undertale and delta rune but I have a way to loosen Berdly instead of doing group loosen which loosens it by 15 % you can do a throw with susie and kris and then loosen with ralsei and if you hit one weak point with the throw and ralsei loosens it by 5% it loosens it by 18% (hitting one weak area does 13% the more the better)
I just realized that queens head attack is also a reference to homestar runner specifically videogame where she uses perplexing 3D attacks to deal damage, using a 3D vector head, Also the explosion is the same

I work as an employee for Rouxls's shop, and I get home by 8PM the latest. I don't smoke, but I occasionally drink. I'm in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up. I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn't lose to anyone.
By the way, it's perfectly fine if I attack Queen's shield, right? I do notice Rude Buster does more damage to the shield than toasting. Do I risk killing Berdley's arm though?
boss is pretty easy ones you get the hang of it. so if your battling her and cant beat her just keep trying! my tip is to keep ralsei alive so he can heal you party members. u can also sheil ralsei in an attack and gain tp. i also suggest going back and stocking up on healing items just in case.
If you do the opposite of this video berdlys hand will end up being fried or burned and once you leave the cyber world Berdlys hand still won’t be able to move. His hands is literally paralyzed
I havent seen anyone do it but I kinda attacked the queen's battery shield instead of toasting it. When her status came up as (Protected) i assumed any and all attacks will not hurt her so I went ham.

throw is the best
i use throw and loosten, that way when I hit a weak point I get more than group loosten
on my game it just isnt working. i played the fight for a solid 30 minutes, constantly loosening berdly and nothing happened. im just stuck in a loop

In my opinion, the Queen's theme isn't as good as the King's but her battles are definitely harder. The final battle is new too. Wasn't expecting to resort to punch out. I'd say the final battle was easy, fun due to novelty.

Same, I think her whole boss battle (including the punchout part) was kinda less impactful than the King from chapter 1, if Berdley was fully controlled I think that would be a better boss fight, or if he was roboticized temporarily, and then him and queen switch attacks
@@henritaas9997 I feel like what made the King more impactful is the we hear about him, but we never see him until the very end. The Queen, however, we interact with her consistently, so when we got to her boss battles, its wasn't as impactful. However, I feel like Toby did a good job fleshing out the Queens character and the scenes with her shows.
Also I didnt really like Berdley as much as much as Lancer, so I didn't feel too threatened (or leveraged at least) by the Queen as I did with the King (I mean, Queen did have Noelle, but she was kinda off screen during this moment)
Anyone ever notice that one dead pixel on the ground in the King fight? Always thought that was just an oversight by Toby Fox, accidentally leaving it unfilled. Weirdly enough, though, it looks like there's an black pixel on the ground in the same spot in this fight too. Any thoughts on that?

I’m new to undertale and delta rune but I have a way to loosen Berdly instead of doing group loosen which loosens it by 15 % you can do a throw with susie and kris and then loosen with ralsei and if you hit one weak point with the throw and ralsei loosens it by 5% it loosens it by 18% (hitting one weak area does 13% the more the better)

boss is pretty easy ones you get the hang of it. so if your battling her and cant beat her just keep trying! my tip is to keep ralsei alive so he can heal you party members. u can also sheil ralsei in an attack and gain tp. i also suggest going back and stocking up on healing items just in case.
The dark world bosses all seem to like the "Big elevated arena with a design on the floor and stray pixel" type of architecture.
If you do the opposite of this video berdlys hand will end up being fried or burned and once you leave the cyber world Berdlys hand still won’t be able to move. His hands is literally paralyzed
I havent seen anyone do it but I kinda attacked the queen's battery shield instead of toasting it. When her status came up as (Protected) i assumed any and all attacks will not hurt her so I went ham.
