Hi AA, very good night review of your Rav. Thank you! I want to ask you what Rav4 trim is equivalent in features and equipment to the Forester Limited and Touring? I guess that what I'm asking you to do is a review of both side by side.I know that your Forester is a Premium and your Rav is an SE Hybrid, so they're not equivalent comparison, are they?
These Rav 4 vids are good but i believe that i myself and most of your subscribers are really waiting for you to buy a 2026 outback when they come out 😅
Hahaha. I’ll definitely try to film them as soon as they’re available. But I don’t know when or what my next Subaru would be. There’s too much coming out in the next year or two that we don’t have confirmed details on yet. 🧐🙃
🎵 Working on the night moves. Trying to lose those awkward no more Subaru blues. Its a great car. You will enjoy having it. There is a reason its in such high demand. Happy motoring!
I have seen you mention Twin Falls Subaru for Warranties. Is there a certain contact you recomend talking to? Thanks. Looking forward to more of your Rav reviews.
They’re just a legitimately great dealership! I would just call and ask for any one of the managers behind the counter and reference the UA-cam guy and say he said they’d negotiate a great deal. Challenge them to earn your business! Thanks for watching.
Nope, not yet. I may make little comments here and there related to what you want to know but I haven’t planned a ride quality video yet as I’m still figuring that out and haven’t driven it in all relevant conditions yet. But thank you for the video idea and for watching this one!!
It was kind of a spur of the moment decision. I had just met my point (gut feeling) that week that I want to say goodbye to my current car and start over with something else. I’ve always been interested in the RAV4 hybrid, and now knowing how popular they are I wanted to see why, and how they seem to compare to other good cross overs. The 2026 would be a more popular and anticipating topic, but I care less about that and more about driving something I know is well sorted out, at least as my daily driver where reliability is the highest priority. And also I didn’t want to wait any longer to swap out vehicles. Maybe in a couple years I’ll trade this for the new one, or maybe go back to a Subaru. I have no idea haha.
Are the low beam headlights just as illuminating without fog lights as the Subaru is with Fog lights? I know manufacturers are cost cutting by not including fog lights stating that they are not needed due to advanced headlight design. I believe this to be false as the overseas versions of some of these vehicles have them. The black plastic area looks like something is missing and fog lights should be there.
It’s tough to say without having both cars next to each other to compare beams. But I think the low beams are fairly comparable. These headlights are good enough in my opinion. I didn’t research the car a lot before getting it so I was glad to see they are as bright as they happen to be, and it didn’t feel like a big step back in night time illumination. Thanks for watching!
My 2024 Rav4 has fog lights. Definitely they make a noticeable difference in illumination especially in area with no street lights. Another neat feature is auto high beam.
I think LED headlights should be standard or federally mandated as much as airbags, seatbelts, rearview cameras. They just make a world of difference at night specially for older people like me 😊
Absolutely agree. It’s pathetic that any auto maker would try to skimp out and save literally only a few dollars per unit to still sell halogens over even a basic LED reflector if not projector headlight. 🤦♂️🤪

Thanks for your videos... We just purchased a 2025 RAV4 Hybrid XSE in Silver and Black last Friday. I am enjoying your overview of the features.
That’s super exciting!! I’m glad the videos could be helpful, I’ll keep them coming especially over the next month or two.

Do a short video on the high voltage cable connecting to the rear motor if possible.

Haha nice!! Yeah, so far it’s been a pretty decent car. Definitely some trade offs coming from the Outback, but overall happy with it.

Do you have a video about ride quality yet? Or a timestamp you can point me to? Deciding between this and a CR-V

How did you decide to buy the RAV4 now instead of waiting for a likely refresh in 2026 model?

Kneel down and bow in front of Toyota dealers to get one
Haha basically, they sell way too fast.

Yeah so every other driver can be blinded at night? Lmao
