Even with the "reduced crew" panel, The Monster's Den always brings a great episode. Thanks to Davy , Jamie and you, too, Pete, for committing to getting this episode completed. Never seem to catch up on all the movies that are recommended but it's great to have the watch list you folks help create. Thanks again, everyone.

Fav horror from 1994... ED Wood, not really horror but tackles the horror subject and great performances from Oscar winner Martin Landau and my favorite Johnny Depp role... and the hell can't be 94' without The Crow.

@@andrewcarr5923 I'd love to but time is impossibly reduced. Most of the guys I've done collabs with - Nate, Sam, Ryan - have given up YT and their own channels for that reason. I wouldn't do that but I also would never put out "content" just for the sake of it.
What I AM thinking of is just.....reviews. Not big fancy things, just 5mins on random films and albums from whenever and whereever with no overall theme. And I would like to do a Hammer series in order talking all the films..

now I do know its not a horror movie per se in itself but unquestionably the most horrific scene of any film of 1994 comes from robert zeminkecs's 1994 oscar winning masterpiece forrest gump where when jenny contracts the HIV virus while protesting the war in vietnam by having sex with a hippie in the reflecting pool of the national mall to lynyrd skynyrds free bird. really one of the most chilling scenes in all the entire cinema arts and more importantly a prescient reminder of the devastating consequences of unbridled wokism. poor jenny she just had no idea the sort of devils she w as mixed up with... 😥

wait . . . i don't think the movie tells us exactly hwere she got the virus . . it isn't even specifically identified as HIV, although that is implied . . actually she could have gotten it from the disco crowd rather than the hippies . .

Aww, I love, In The Mouth Of Madness! It's my favorite, John Carpenter film! I like films that center around authors and their mysterious works. Another good film that's about books and the supernatural is, The Ninth Gate with Johnny Depp, a really good film.
For my choice from 94, I'm going with In The Mouth Of Madness. For non-horror my choices are, The Crow, Speed, Surviving The Game, True Lies, Pulp Fiction, Léon The Professional.

I started reading a book. It’s called How Pete Pardo’s Mind Works. Of course not. I’m kidding. It’s called Nightmare Fuel: the Science of Horror Films by Nina Nesseth. What’s going on in the brains of Horror fans, why normal people are into Horror films. As someone who is not into Horror films, I often wonder, why. Maybe the book will help me better understand Pete’s, & others on this show, passion. I’m a SF fan. The book I read before Nightmare Fuel was on one of my favourites movies, 2001. It brought up several outstanding SF movies, some I haven’t seen in a long time, others I never heard of. I ordered several of these movies. Since I’m not much into Horror, I doubt I’ll be ordering any movie mentioned in this current book. It occurred to me, as I read the Science Of Horror book, I should watch The Monster’s Den, which I don’t normally do. Maybe I’ll gain insights. The Horror movies themselves don’t interest me, but the minds of Horror fans… there lies the real mystery. I started with this episode. So your minds are being studied. Why does something in me want to laugh like a mad scientist? So far, I still don't understand any of your guys (& there's only 3 to try to figure out). Maybe I haven't gotten to the right chapter yet.
