Birthday greetings to young Roan. 🎉🎂. 3 generations out on a crisp cool morning doing what you love best. The contents great as always. Spectacular scenery, river still look great for fishing. I don't comment often enough but i would like to say, I really appreciate your video's. The cabin idea's sounds good. The building of it would make for some great content. Keep up the good work. 👍

Thanks for watching and the kind comments. I'm glad you enjoy the videos, the river was looking in great order. Hopefully the salmon are managing to spawn ok. A nice spell of settled weather coming at the right time for it anyway. Hopefully we can get all the materials in time dor Christmas and manage to build it on our time off. I'll pass on your birthday wishes although he'll see them here as he reads them all. 👍

Bird Flu is worrying I travel from Stirling to Forfar Angus, Perth, Fife. Piltlochry I do not even see many Pigeons, Pheasants, Crow ext on any of the Rape or stubble, my own town near Stirling I work 3 spaniels hardly any wild game apart from hares and roe, its worrying.
BBC News they recon Scotland has lost 40% of its seabirds to Bird Flu this year and it is reported its spread inland even in Glasgow.
Then our Rabbit situation there is only small pockets of Rabbits, maxi or other diseases has taken it toll on them.
I remember the times when all the way up A9 from Blackford to Aviemore was polluted with Rabbits millions of the tasty buggers lining the side of the road in the 1980's, hardly any now they are becoming an endangered species.
Young Roan's a very lucky laddie.

Hi thanks for watching, I know a lot of the shoots are just carrying on after the bag has been reached with no overages as they think it might shut because of it. I saw two pheasants and four partridges over two farms, we'd normally see 10 times that. I wasn't sure if that was because some of the shoots around had limited or no birds this year. The rabbits are very limited to a few pockets here and there on the ground we shoot. A shame really as they are great sport and very tasty as you say. 👍
