The way Brady willed Barry into making this video is so inspirational
Lol
Pour one out for the GOAT
Barry gave Russell Wilson an honorable mention but not Phillip Rivers 🤔
@@nasdaqqqq4994 Did you not _see_ his individual video on Rivers? Wilson has great numbers _in_ the 4th quarter, a ring & has led successful comeback drives.
I'm a fan of Rivers too. But the consistency with which he tanked in situations where _(dammit!)_ *Brady* succeeded drops him way down in consideration.
Excuse _me_ now while I emulate Barry. 🤢
@@nasdaqqqq4994 lmfao Phillip rivers
Barry reluctantly putting Brady at #1 is character development lmao
Or selling out
i mean as untalented and lucky as he is it’s basically impossible to deny his stats. yes i think those teams are still good teams with any other qb starting but i don’t think new england wins 6 rings without brady as much as i hate him
@@W0Wnerd4 He can hate Brady until his ass bleeds but he's not stupid or delusional so no amount of TB12 pics that his wife has on her wall can deny Brady being the goat.
*Regression
I blame Aaron Rodgers
“He might’ve had 10 or 12 rings if Archie Manning hadn’t had sex a couple of times.” Best description of Brady’s career I’ve ever heard. 😂
And he might be undefeated against the colts and giants too.
To be fair, even though a lot of luck was involved in most of Brady's success, he also got extremely unlucky more often than not imho. He got very lucky in 2001, 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2020, but he also got very unlucky in 2006, 2007, 2011, 2015, 2017 and 2021.
His team let him down big-time in 2006, 2011 and 2015, whereas in 2021 Saints purposefully took out his best WR Godwin and injured another 3-4 bucs players just a couple of weeks before the playoffs. That failure was honestly all on the coaches for playing their best players in a meaningless endseason game, after they'd already pretty much won the division. AB, as the only semi-non-injured player quit during the jets game, so that didn't make his situation any easier. Its pretty impressive Brady even managed to hang in that long against a fully healthy rams team, with his only weapon being Evans who came off the injury list 2 weeks ago and who could barely run.
@@pointyheadYTalso got unlucky in 2008 with the season ender
He should have said “if Archie manning was a virgin”
Well, Patriots should have won at least 9 super bowls, if not 10, if they and Bellichick hadnt screwed it up 3 or 4 times (i.e. 2 super bowl losses versus Giants, AFC Champ loss to Colts, AFC Champ loss versus Denver at Denver).
Growing up in the Brady/Manning/Brees/Favre-Rodgers/Roethlisberger era was truly a ridiculous stretch of football.
What an era bro and now we’re getting the new wave of QBs
@@amarevanhook7453And they're all in the AFC except for Jalen Hurts, who might become the only player in NFL history ever to lose 5 Super Bowls by the time he's done
@@dfp_01why?
@@Joseph_HeitkampThe AFC quarterbacks will mostly have to play each other by the time the Super Bowl rolls around, so whichever team wins the AFC will be battle tested and have seen all types of opposing schemes and varieties of game. The NFC champion, meanwhile, will likely be the beneficiary of a fairly easy schedule by comparison and won't have the same kind of championship mettle.
@@dfp_01 oh gotcha.
When Barry put Brady at #1 my heart broke. I may never recover
He became the man he swore to destroy
Barry’s grind is a great story, took in the haters, took on the profile bans, and now he got that draft kings sponsorship
He's sold out. It's sad
Barry has grown from a Brady trolling channel to an objective commentator. Just like Tom, the growth was inevitable. Keep it up, sir.

Mahomes is dramatically better than Favre was then with less help. I’m not worried
@@erichall090909 - No he isn't. Favre was untouchable until Holmgren left Green Bay.
@@tedbundywastheultimatechad8400 Favre had a very good prime through Holmgren leaving.
The rest of his career after that is definitely not at that level, but in my book it’s a bit better than it’s given credit for.
Don’t get me wrong, the guy’s a total jerk (welfare fraud and all), and I’m not really a Packer fan (Seahawks fan here, so some of his better games in those years were vs my team).

Growing up in New England and having Tom Brady meant every year I knew we were getting someone. Inevitable is the right word…. He just found ways to win. Obviously not in terms of cheating, which discredits him somewhat. It’s just the amount of times that he just genuinely came through for New England made it truly feel like EVERY year, we were gonna get there
Oh I know what you mean, I grew up in New England during his super bowl wins and as someone who isn't a pats fan and got tired of watching him win.. he.wouldn't.die. They ALWAYS had a chance and at times looked unstoppable. He really is the goat

Playing the 💩 jets, bills and dolphins helped alot.....
It’s nice to see two legendary Kansas City chiefs in the top 3
Good to see that you're finally giving the big T his due. Tim Tebow surely has to be labelled as the GOAT.
I'll say this. Brady gets a lot of hate because he and the patriots were absolutely dominant for nearly 20 years. If you're a fan of any of the other 31 nfl teams there's a very high chance he crushed your dreams multiple times. His career wasn't perfect and neither is he. But there is no one who touches his legacy as of this moment and I commend Barry for his honesty despite his hatred, which is a quality you all could strive to meet
Brady gets hate because of the cheating scandals and refs protecting him and helping him more than anyone. Believe it or not, before the cheating scandals Brady was the golden boy, people didn't talk bad about him.
He broke most teams dreams except the Giants.
@@thecensoredmuscle563 What cheating scandals? Spygate...which was literally nothing more than filming from the wrong spot (cause filming was allowed and EVERY team did it) and only became a thing because the league wanted to buckle down on ALL teams videotaping opponents because it had gotten out of hand - choosing the patriots because they would make the best example...?
Deflategate which apparently no one kept up with because it did come out that none of the balls were under the limit except ONE which was the ball the Colts had?
Even the golden boy comment was nonsense, MANNING was the golden boy - no one would give brady credit and even up until 2021 he was being accused as being nothing but a system QB.

@@TrevTheCrev His defenses for a number of years in the mid 2010’s were pretty bad.
@@fortynights1513 true that
Unless something weird happens, Brees and Rodgers will end their careers with the same number of Super Bowls won, and while Rodgers has more MVPs and more wins, Brees' career numbers exceed Rodgers' in nearly every stat (unless he plays in New Jersey for like 7 years or something, but I doubt that seriously). I wish as a Saints fan that he'd gathered more accolades, but 1) he's by far the best player the organization's ever had, 2) he is responsible for bringing the only Lombardi to New Orleans, and 3) the Falcons still don't have one and probably won't for a while.
Brees is top 5 in my opinion, he had 5 seasons with 5000 passing yards, 7 time passing leader, 4 time passing td leader, his records including the longest streak throwing a td in consecutive games, most passing tds in one game, best completion percentage in a career.
Brees deserves a mvp award
Aaron Rodgers 2015 and 2016 was not a decline in his play, he was making unbelievable throws and carrying the team in the playoffs both years. The cardinals divisional he threw back to back Hail Marys to tie that game only to never touch the ball again and the 2016 NFCCG was a complete blowout with no defense. In 2017 he broke his collarbone and in 2018 he had a statistically great year on a fractured knee from week 1. 2019 was his game manager year where he still put up great numbers before his MVP resurgence. The only year I’ve seen him truly decline was 2022, and I’m assuming that’s just a hiccup due to no receivers and broken thumb.
Besides New England owning Pittsburgh in post season, I’d say runner up is AR Packers getting owned by the 49ers. He could never beat that team in post season.
@@HitsTownUSAmainly because it's hard to beat a phenomenal defense when your defense also sucks because that means your defense is constantly getting taken right off the field, so the offense is always tired because they constantly have to be on the field

Out of all of them, Elway would be a monster in the modern day due to how "protected" QBs are now. Especially with the receiver core Denver has had pretty much always.

Gee whiz Mr. McCockiner, spectacular video as always, would love to see if you could make a top 10 kickers in NFL history to show the NFL's greatest feet some love.
I am a bit young, so I don't know old time kickers, but what would be the argument for having anyone else besides Justin Tucker at number one?
@@nonameyoutubenomad2918 There is none unless he ends up getting injured or something else that would tank his accuracy ratings. He doesn't have some large records yet, such as most points, most from 40+, or most years played, but he doesn't look close to retirement yet.
This actually aged well. On the eve of his second Super Bowl at the time of this video, he now has 3 Super Bowl titles and 3 Super Bowl MVP’s.
Great video Barry, it's always nice to see you put out quality, consistent content (no offense to Valve with TF2) but I was wondering if we could get more individual QB review videos like what you did a few years back with Brees, Ryan, the Manning bros, etc.
Top 15 QB's: 1 = Tom Brady. 2 = Otto Graham. 3 = Joe Montana. 4 = Peyton Manning. 5 = Drew Brees. 6 = Aaron Rodgers. 7 = Sammy Baugh. 8 = Dan Marino. 9 = John Elway. 10 = Roger Staubach. 11 = Brett Favre. 12 = Y.A. Tittle. 13 = Dan Fouts. 14 = Patrick Mahomes. 15 = Matthew Stafford.
Im glad brees gets his credit in this for some reason rings culture has seeped into the nfl partly because of brady which is a testament to his greatness but its not the same as the nba where theres 5 guys on the floor for each team at a time and you cna play both ends, so recently the so called "experts" act like brees is nowhere near the top 10 becuase of rings which is insane to me. brees played just as well as any rodgers or brady season in his prime i can very much remember the times hed lead the offense to like 35+ points and lead a 4th quarter comeback but they lost cause the defense gave up 40.
If Brees put up those numbers in a big market people would give hime more respect.
Even if not everyone ranks Brees where you would, everyone would probably agree that he belongs in Canton at the end of the day, so there’s that too.
As for rings and team success, my view is that they are very important when talking about coaches, worth a bit of acknowledgment when discussing quarterbacks (not nearly as much, but still worth mentioning for context), and team success is rather irrelevant when talking about basically any other position.
deserved 4th place
@@jackgilessportsDrew Brees is not better than Aaron Rodgers. honestly he put Brees too low, he's better than both Marino and Young
I saw a video that broke Brady's career into 3 - 7 year segments... EACH of those 3 segments would make him 1st ballot. That just blows my mind. Also...Elway's arm and Marino's accuracy were just filthy!

After last night not anymore Mahomes is #3 behind #2 Montana and #1 Brady now.
I don't like the GOAT debates. I feel that there are too many "what if" factors. For example, I wonder what would have happened if Dan Marino was born in Manning & Brady's era. Or if Brees & Brady switched teams. Would Brees then have more rings than Brady? I mean without 17 top 10 defenses in 21 years (8 of them being top), I think Brady himself would tell you that he wouldn't even be CLOSE to 7 rings. I mean, there are WAY too many factors, but nice video in any case.
This. Exactly. In the *ultimate* team sport and in different eras, it's just not possible to accurately determine. I'm a Chiefs guy, but even I recognize that Mahomes and Reid are perfect for each other. As were Belichick and Brady. Yes, I think Mahomes is better than Brady. But whatever. Goat debates are getting...tired.
Very good list. I’d probably put Brees higher but other than that I can’t complain
Seeing Barry put in Brady deep throw highlights is insane
Imagine a reality where Rodgers didn’t have a horrible defense for most of his career and didn’t play so much hero ball, Brady would be history 😞
His defense wasn't horrible, in almost every playoff choke in the last few years I can think of, Rodgers has gotten the ball, with a chance to tie or win. He fails every time, he chokes. If it weren't for 28-3 Rodgers would be the biggest playoff choker this century.
Rodgers had some good defenses. I would agree that they had a defensive coordinator who wasn't very good for a few years though
@@game_go_burrr You can't very far back then lol. The game against the Bucs they needed 2 scores, not one. The year before that against The Niners the defense gave up almost 300 yards on the ground and the game wasn't close. You just don't like Rodgers so you have a convenient memory

How is Otto Graham NOT on this list? 7 championships in 10 years is a major accomplishment.
And in all ten of those years, he played in the championship game.
I’d argue that Matt Ryan, Philip Rivers, Bart Starr, and Otto Graham deserved nods in the honorable mentions section, especially over Russ and Jurgensen
I know this comment is very late, but I agree, especially with Rivers. Guy would have three super bowls if he was with any other team but the Chargers lol.

Manning at 4 is robbery, and Brees is still the most underrated qb in nfl history
I completely agree with you
Not sure how underrated I’d call Brees because he’ll be in Canton and everyone agrees he belongs.
If we're talking qb alone, not team accomplishments (which requires like 50 players and dozens of coaches), Peyton Manning is #1, and Dan Marino probably #2.
Second to Fran Tarkenton
If Brees is making a top 10, he's more than likely not underrated.
Montana is clearly the best QB that ever played. He played at a time of dominant teams. The Giants, with LT, who won 2 SB in this era, the Redskins, with Joe Gibbs, who won 3 SB in his era, the 1985 Bears, who had an all time defense. Never lost a SB. Never threw an INT in a SB. The bigger the game, the better he played.
Brady lost 3 SB, 2 to the NYG, and 1 to Philly.
Go back and look at all 4 of Joe Montana SB. Every pass he threw was perfect. Joe Montana is head and shoulders above any other QB that has ever played !.
Next can you rank the top commentary booth teams all time. (you are allowed to use one person twice if they appeared in multiple commentary teams, like John Madden)
Bleep you!! On your comments about Brady, the Patriots, and Patriots fans. I'm a lifelong Patriot fan. He won seven super bowls, Patriots won 6 super bowls.
I am curious if you're old enough to have watched Marino, Elway, Young & Montana play live? You can look at stat sheets all day and it won't even scratch the surface of their true talent.
💯💯💯💯👍👍👍
I always skip the advertising portions of videos but Barry is the one exception. I have no idea why😂
Cause we love barry
Otto Graham played 10 seasons. He went to the championship game 10 time. He won 7. Brady did the same but over 21 years. Graham still holds the record for yards gained per pass attempt. He did all that in an era when you could brutalize qbs without penalties.
You're incorrect. Otto has 3 NFL championships, not 7. Counting an AAFC championship the same as NFL championships is insanity. The AAFC in strength is somewhere below todays XFL. After the merger 5 out of the 7 teams in the AAFC instantly folded. That tells you all you need to know about how competitive it was.
@@pointyheadYT no you are incorrect mfer grahams records are offical nfl records ! how old are you dumba s?
To claim that in Graham’s era "you could brutalize qbs without penalties,” is hyperbole. The rules did not protect quarterbacks as zealously in the 1940s and ’50s as they do today, but the roughing-the-passer penalty •was• in the rule book for the entirety of Graham’s pro career.
But I agree that a bias favoring the historically recent drives an unjust underappreciation of Graham by too many observers, including by McCockiner.
pointyheadYT How the hell would you know? Graham validated every thing he did in the AAFC in his very 1st season in the NFL when he beat TWO NFL champions. The AAFC was far superior to the minor league AFL (which I saw in its entirety). Huge NFL failures, Canadian league & over the hill players such as Blanda, Rote, Dawson, Parilli, Gilchrist & Maynard were stars in the crappy AFL where as those of the AAFC such as Graham, Tittle, Motley, Perry, Hirsch, Lavelli, Speedie & Ford went on to become HOFs after joining the NFL. Football wasn't created after you were born.
Mahomes is undoubtedly on pace to be in the greatest ever debate, but to put him over guys like rodgers and manning as of right now is flat out disrespectful
For honorable mentions you could have put Bart Starr. He was pretty good and he won the first 2 super bowls. Just me though.
His volume was low, but efficiency was high, especially later on.
Excellent player
He only won 2 Superbowls but he won 5 championships. Honorable mention is not good enough for him. He's in the top 5, and Favre is an honorable mention.
My top 5 are Tom Brady,Patrick Malhoms,Peyton Manning,Joe Montana,John Elway
If Marino has 1 ring we would talk about him differently, if he had two, he would be in the goat convo. If he 3, he would be def be the goat
We could say the same about QB's that don't have one along with Marino. There are many great qb's that don't have one, but played better as their career went on rather than worse, but somehow people think Marino "deserves" a ring and the others are hardly even mentioned.

Just stop mahomes is better than Otto and everyone under 5
This list is less bad then last year at least.
1a. Brady
1b. Rodgers
1c. Manning
4. Brees
5. Marino
6. Unitas
7. Montana
8. Graham
9. Young
10. Favre
HM: Elway
Great list. Only difference I have is Mahomes for Favre, and a slightly different order.
Don’t get me wrong Mahomes is great and all but over Manning (Or anyone atm) is ludicrous. Mahomes is a high talent but let’s wait til he’s been in the NFL for a decade. (Not for sake of talent but gauging it against full career starters feels like jumping the gun)
However much Congrats to the Chiefs on their super bowl win.
He pretty got a whole new receiver crew outside of kelce I'm sure he'll be fine
He’s already done more in the playoffs for his team than everyone minus Brady and Montana
Brady at number one is the biggest plot twist of 2023. I agree with Barry’s assessments and as the number 2 brady hater in the universe it pains me to admit it
Tom Brady is inevitable, even Barry kneeled.
Sounds like a kid eating their vegetables when reciting all Brady highlights.
Rodgers is Kendrick Lamar, Brady is Drake. Rodgers (Kendrick) is way more talented and exciting to watch (listen to) but just doesn’t have the rings (streaming numbers) to match Brady (Drake). Nor did he have the support of his defense (ghostwriters) to get him where he is today. Peyton is Eminem, insane run but stayed in the game too long.
No one thinks drake is the goat
@@datman879 Nobody that discusses music in depth online does but that sadly can’t be said for average everyday people who are casual music fans, I know an alarming amount of people irl that think Aubrey is better than Kendrick and Kanye
@@theguyfromthehomesickcover6512 ahhh yes, let's worry about casual peoples opinions lol
@@themaverick1898 Calling Brady or Drake the GOAT is such an NPC position in general, you have to really take numbers to heart to think that, no way in hell you can actually watch them play/listen to their albums and think “that guy’s the best ever in his position”
Ok but even if you don’t think Brady is the GOAT there’s no argument for Rodgers. Even if he beats out Brady (which he doesn’t) he certainly doesn’t beat out Peyton
I take a shot every time you say “_______ merchant” and have subsequently lost my job, my wife and kids due to alcoholism. I’m a booze merchant.
Going off of what your criteria is, I’d say this is a really good list
Appreciate the Brady acknowledgment. I know that must've been difficult for you.
Barry has grown so much in the last 4 years. A real list!
1-Tom Brady
2-Peyton Manning
3-Joe Montana
4-Patrick Mahomes
5-Aaron Rodgers
6-Drew Brees
7-Dan Marino
8-Steve Young
9-Fran Tarkenton
10-Roger Staubach

I wouldn’t put Mahomes that high yet he still have a lot of years to play but probably will be up there when he’s done playing
Barry I'm proud of you
Hey Barry, you should do a Top 10 WR list. We know the Top 3 (Rice, Moss, TO) but we would love to hear the rest of your list by tho
One I’d include would be Paul Warfield.
His raw stats look low today, but he was an excellent deep threat.
im sorry but ben not making the cut is mind blowing....
2nd GWD Tied for (53)
3rd 4qtr Comebacks (41)
5th all-time passing (64,088)
5th all-time Wins (165)
7th all-time playoff Wins (13)
8th all-time passing tds (418)
4 500yds games in a career (only qb in history)
6th QB to have pass for 5,000yds in a season
Super Bowl Record 2--1
i know i went overboard on the stats but Jesus am I sick of people over looking Ben...
dude should at least be at the #9 or #8 spot.
I don’t see how top 15 is u reasonable for Ben given the players ahead of him
It's a shame Andrew Luck isn't here He would be a slam dunk Hall of Famer by now if he didn't retire But as he was truly talented as any quarterback ever He just didn't have the heart ❤️
Wasn't about heart, dude literally got broken physically and realized he would like to be able to play with his kids.
Bro he was pissing blood fym heart😭
I cannot have Brady over Montana simply because of Spygate. He benefited MASSIVELY along with the rest of the team. The highest i would EVER rank Brady is at #2. People seem to forget about Spygate and how EVERYONE in the Patriots organization benefited, that includes Brady. If Mahomes wins a 4th Super Bowl, Brady drops to #3 on my list.
The super computer description of Brady is fucking perfect
The list:
1. Tom Brady
2. Joe Montana
3. Patrick Mahomes
4. Peyton Manning
5. Aaron Rodgers
6. Dan Marino
7. Steve Young
8. Drew Brees
9. John Elway
10. Brett Favre
Not even an honorable mention for Troy Aikman?
He had more rings than all but two in your top 10, and he completely owned another two in the same era, Young and Favre, head to head.
He's one of the best postseason QBs of all time.
He had great postseasons no doubt, but you do have to admit that the role he played on his teams was probably a bit less than most of the guys he listed.
He’s not significantly overrated or anything, but given that Barry has the views he seems to, it doesn’t surprise me that Troy Aikman wouldn’t have occurred to him.
My list:
1. Brady
2. Montana
3. Mahomes
4. Peyton
5. Rodgers
6. Brees
7. Marino
8. Young
9. Favre
10. Elway
HM:
- Unitas
- Staubach
- Bradshaw
- Warner
- Big Ben
- Rivers
- Fouts
- Ryan
Lamar Jackson should go to the Tennessee Titans win 2 SB real quick
LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL.... Crack is a helluva drug.
There will NEVER be another Brady!
What a guy who plays in a division for 20yr that never had a great QB? He wouldn't have won 7 if he played in the 80s and actually got hit like Joe Montana did. Joe Montana =goat....
Barry finally have Tom his flowers 😂
My list
1. Tom Brady
2. Joe Montana
3. Patrick Mahomes
4. Dan Marino
5. Troy Aikman
6. Steve Young
7. Peyton Manning
8. Aaron Roger's
9. Matthew Stafford
10. Jim Kelly
11. John Elway
12. Bret Farve
Barry in 2022: Brady is the GOAT
Barry in 2023: Jordan > Lebron
Barry in 2024: I just had prematial sex with my girlfriend while his husband played geoguessr in the basement
This is all fine but you must never give up your stance on marijuana
lol he never admitted Jordan was better than Bron tho
1. Joe Montana
2. Patrick Mahomes
3. Peyton Manning
4. Tom Brady
5. John Elway
6. Dan Marino
7. Aaron Rodgers
8. Johnny Unitas
9. Steve Young
10. Bret Favre
Stopped watching. Unitas is literally #1, save for Montana. You aren't standardizing what old school players would do by era.
More egregiously, however, is your utterly absurd criteria. ANYTIME someone uses TEAM ACHIEVEMENTS as a measure of an INDIVIDUAL PLAYER, I know it's someone who doesn't know what they are talking about
And YPA is criminally underrated as well in your analysis
Brady, Montana, P.Manning, Graham, others
Would Barry now put Bill Russell as the NBA goat for these same reasons?
I’m ok giving Brady #1 that being said Montana played in a much harder era and it’s not even close. The chance for injury was so much greater and the fact that u can jam up WRs says it all
