I’m not a senior, but I think about it every single day. I think what it must feel like to be unseen and unheard. As I’m approaching my late 40s, I can feel the shift of how people treat me now and I can only imagine it will get worse as I get older. I think it should be the opposite. Seniors should be put on a pedestal.
@@HH-gv8mxI agree with you, and it happens to both men and women. Sad, I have always admired older people’s life experiences, stories, etc. In the US, youth and looks are overly worshipped. I am American, female, and will turn 60 yrs next year. Yeah for me! My health is good, a blessing. Some of my peers are not so lucky. Around your age, I noticed a change as well. I take care of myself, but things do change. Also, in work environment, I have coworkers my kids ages. Weird cuz I remember being the new kid on the block. I think they see me as the “ cute mom”? They are smart and motivated, but sometimes lack people skills ( healthcare). I appreciate now, how that develops with the years. Anyway, looking forward to retirement in a few years. The time will fly. Good luck to you. Focus on well- being.
My doctor asks me every time I see him. I’m 65. And coworkers are very protective of me even when I tell them NOT to be.
Thank you, Maria, for this!! Your daughters are well spoken and intelligent, both mentally and emotionally which speaks volumes about you and Arnold’s parenting. It’s also remarkable that they are willing to share their experiences and views about these personal issues with the Country on National TV. I’m heartened to hear that there’s more awareness about certain topics and concerned about the seeming pressure they feel in their lives to be perfect and/or having it all together-my words-including the drinking to cope with parenting. It seems that, in spite of all the info that is available about the dangers of drinking, it is still a problem that doesn’t seem to be addressed in a way that is helpful. I’m wondering if you could do a show about that? I’m grateful for your willingness to do these interviews and highlight what is important in today’s world. Keep doing this good work-our world needs it!! 😊

It’s hard for young women these days.. guys lean on so much filth on their phones/ internet - it’s so destructive to relationships and undermines the potential for families and families in general.
if you feel "burnt out" you have Adrenal fatigue. look up. The way you heal the adrenal glands (which sit on top of the kidneys) is rest, sleep, relaxation, b complex vitamins & adrenal vitamins, clean diet such as keto/carnivore
Adrenal fatigue is very common. So common that doctors who specialize in adrenal fatigue believe every adult will suffer from this health issues. Most doctors are not educated on adrenal fatigue.
the adrenal glands regulate blood sugar, blood pressure, over 50 hormones etc they are VITALLY important for good health.
symptoms of adrenal fatigue is a long list here are a few: exhausted, sleep issues, mood swings, stressed out, anxiety, depression etc etc
SLOW DOWN and relax if you are burnt out.

It's never even occurred to me to freeze my eggs; sounds like a rich people problem.
I prayed for a child when I was 30. And four months later, I met the love of my life and got pregnant! I gave birth when I was 31. What a surprise gift from God!
I prayed in a monastery in Montserrat, Spain.

"worse" is putting it mildly; i would use the word: "atrocious"...and she will probably never actually stop going to that doctor, because no one is ever going to be honest with her to let her know how bad it looks. Not the doctor or their staff, because of ,$. Same with her house and personal staff. Same with her children. Whose going to tell mom when she returns from her cosmetic treatments, or procedures, that her face looks horrendous? Nobody. No friend or family member, can at this point come clean and tell her what they honestly think. It's too late for that. It would b admitting that they have been (from the time she first had cosmetic61 to 76y been lying to her, telling her that her face looks better.
