The government is scared that their military has less number of youth and though they have very large number of military eqipments, there are no many skilled defence personal. Now they have changed the policy and people can have many children. Even in every home, without child the home is not happy. We live for a long time and do not remain young for ever. Hence everyone should marry, have children, raise them well and children will take care of the parents. We are interdependent and we require good relationships all the time.

Palliative care (not to be confused with euthanasia), vadhyars to do funeral rites, karyams, procedures involved in karyams, crematoriums access not keeping pace with population (In the USA, I am told the elderly dad goes along with his son or daughter and looks for a resting place that is affordable. It is eye opening to listen to your explanation quoting Sanatana Dharma as to why people should get married and have children focusing on Dharma and Moksha and subsequently Artha - and Kama is incedental. You have no doubt opened up and given the relevant positive explanation for the doubts lingering in the minds of present day youth, which will pave way for their mindset to change towards marriage and children. This question burned in me a lot in my 20s/30s. And I ended up marrying late and the kid late. And I personally found that marriage and having a kid affected my spirituality. At the moment I find it difficult to devote tme for sadhana with this modern busy life.
On the other hand, I am in totally love with my 4 year old and now I don't know I would do this any other way.
