I was wondering if replacing the air flow switch really solved the problem for you. I was working on a mastertemp 400 and I was having the same issues “ignition error” and “AFS”. I replaced the air flow switch but it didn’t solve the problem, I ended up replacing the ignition control module.
love the videos. MasterTemp 400, turns on. fan blow, I can smell gas flowing, heating light is blinking amber. it tries 3 times to ignite and then service heater red light comes on. Any ideas what is wrong? Thanks.
Awesome videos. My Pentair Mastertemp 125 is three years old. It’s only used in summer. Everything thing works great until it reaches the selected temp 90 deg. Then it begins to cycle on and off about every 30 seconds. If I set to 95 deg. Heater will run fine until it reaches the 95 deg. Setting. Then it will start the cycle pattern again. Can you help Thanks 😊
I've been having ignition issues. I'll have to check this. My heater (same make and model) turns on, fan runs, but doesn't kick to ignite. Then switches to the service heater light.
Brand new pentair master temp 125 , won't ignite , ignition error on display , red heater lite blinking , I do have a 100 pound propane bottle that the manufacturer said was big enough however , my gas line to the unit has a 10 pound regulator on it , what kind of pressure should the unit receive?

I replaced the gas sensor however it still comes on? The only lights on the outside panel is service heater? What is the next possible option?

What causes the ignitor to burn out after one day? Put a new hot surface ignitor on and the next day it's burnt out. Happened twice back to back.

If you have a 10 pound reg on the tank, you need a second stage reg to drop it down to 1/2 pounds which is max for any appliance
