- What a day! I absolutely could not put off buying groceries for one more day. But I wanted to film it come hell or high water. Well, there was no high water but there was definitely hell. OMG! There was so much intrusion that I had very little actual shopping to show by the time I was done so I tacked on a grocery haul for you. It was quiet at home. Thank the Lord! Whew. However, I kept my cool the whole time. I even talked to a young boy that was staring at me with mouth agape. Mom looked at me kindly. Little sister was giggling. Young boy was all agog! I think the UA-cam audience is getting younger and younger. So, this granny is kinda cool sometimes in the eyes of the very young. Haha! I hope you enjoy the great crinkles and beautiful sights of FOOD, glorious food!

Forgot to mention how much I love the little purse rummage at the beginning. I love rummaging with a purpose. Like you got out the lip balm, used it, and put it back. If you had been just fumbling around in there aimlessly, that wouldn’t be relaxing at all for me. It would be aggravating and jarring. It’s purely the purposeful search for the things you need that really set off my triggers. It’s so fascinating how that works! That’s one of the reasons I love your channel so much. Every video is just delightfully task driven. Even your page turning videos are done in such a way that feels organic and not forced or redundant. Love it!

im not gonna lie, part of what really draws me to your shopping vids is going out in public vicariously through your vids (i have immense anxiety so going out is rly stressful for me). even if it doesn't necessarily relax me in a "im falling asleep" way, it's relaxing in a "i can enjoy the views and sounds of a store without feeling like i'm going to die" way. (although it does still relax me in a falling asleep way too lol)

You are correct! Most of the subscribers that came to me at the beginning of my channel were those who were so happy that I did not talk in my videos and did not tap or do any of the typical ASMR of the day. Countless people thanked me for not tapping and not talking. So I make sure that I have plenty of that. I have made pure tapping videos for people who requested it. Then I started doing whispering and soft-spoken because there were so many who requested that as well. So I try to do a little bit of everything for everybody. Just not much tapping because I don’t have a big audience for it. I have actually had people tell me that they would unsubscribe if I did tapping in my videos. Lol! That’s how much they hate it. I guess because it’s so overdone and trendy? 🤷🏻♀️ I am sure that there is much more I could do to get more subscribers. But I really strive to make videos that I love and remain true to myself.

I miss Kroger! They have some in Dallas Texas but here In Temple Texas, (about 3 hours away) we only have HEB. Which is fine. I love HEB but I really liked Kroger

What a beautiful store. I’ve heard of these, but we don’t have them here in Northern Missouri. I think I saw one in Alabama when I went down to Florida last year. Our choices are Walmart or Aldi in my town. Anyway, thank you for this video and keep up the great work! Edit: the doughnuts are exactly where I would go! They look delicious.

25:50 I'm not a cheese lover, but I love longhorn style mild cheddar cheese, which is a rare find in grocery stores here in Southern California. Rumor has it, Krogers ( Southern California Ralphs) will soon start carrying the store brand mild cheddar cheese in the longhorn style 16 oz size for the first time, since 2011. Yes, longhorn. Beautiful cheese with a delicious taste. I can't wait for that one. These days, you won't find longhorn style cheddar cheese anywhere in supermarkets. I hope it's at a reasonable price. Kroger headquarter is in Cincinnati, OH where Longhorn cheese is still available in some stores in that city. Anyways, I love this video. So soothing and relaxing.

FYI due to insurance hassles/restrictions I have decided to not pursue a knee replacement until I get on to Medicare in 2023 and ditch my bargain basement Blue Cross work insurance. 😩

I wear my cell phone on my body. Easy to find strap online.
You should wrap the child straps around your purse handles and lock them. My mom taught me this trick to avoid anyone walking away with my purse while my head is turned away.
Slim chance to none of that happening in my town but it’s definitely a smart idea. You never know.
I thought Tennessee has a pretty high crime rate? I've always wanted to live there though
I can’t tell you why our state is so high on the crime rate index. Probably Memphis is a great contributor to those stats. Areas of Nashville too I suppose. I am in rural Tennessee so I am out of the fray. But I don’t tempt fate by leaving my purse gaping open. One time I left my whole purse in the grocery basket in the parking lot and drove away. 20 minutes later I am hotrodding it back to the store only to find that someone had turned it in. Everything was there! 😃

@Oops.333- I'm glad you thought the best of me. 😁 It's been quite a trial with this house. My husband and I have had our work cut out for us. He has made monumental strides toward making our house comfortable. We have much more to do but we are finally getting to a place where we can be mostly at ease in our home. Still not ready to show it off. Not nearly ready. If we had known what kind of house we were going to buy before we left, I might not have saved or brought as much stuff with me. The Local thrift shop is getting a lot of stuff from me now. 😂

Здравствуйте Александр. Серьезного кризиса пока нет. Но полки, по сравнению с прошлыми временами, скудны. Ассортимент меньше, а цены завышены настолько, что это может сильно навредить беднякам. Но мы были изрядно избалованы здесь. Нам не помешает осознать истинную привилегию покупать еду. И нам не помешает иметь на несколько вариантов меньше. При всем при этом, если все будет продолжаться так, как есть, будет кризис. Мы движемся в плохом направлении. Наша страна официально находится в рецессии.
