Samy Elbanna - ESP LTD EC-1000T/CTM Demo

Samy Elbanna of Finland-based thrash band Lost Society has a few things to say about his new LTD EC-1000T/CTM. More importantly, he backs up his words with some speedy shred leads and brutal chunky rhythms. The EC-1000T/CTM has the vibe of a traditionally thick-bodied classic single-cutaway guitar, but with the fast feel and aggressive tone that people demand from an ESP. Lost Society also features ESP players Arttu Lesonen and Mirko Lehtinen.

I've got one of these. Black instead of white but I really wanted the T/CTM version that was heavier and with a more traditional cut. It took me a while to get used to how narrow the fretboard was. The string spacing is tighter compared to some of my other guitars. Very first thing I did was ditch the EMGs. I've grown tired of them over the last several years. One trick ponies that can't give you the same kind of dynamics and versatility passives can.
Put a Duncan Custom SH5 in the bridge with a Duncan Sentient in the neck...guitar sounds fantastic for the price I paid for it. Build quality is surprisingly good for LTD. No blemishes or unfinished frets. Plays great.

Jackson RR24 is pretty amazing. He had it for like 1.5-2 years, but can't use it any more because they have a sponsorship deal with ESP.

I know, I know, I've been a fan of LxSx since record No1. It was just a little amusing because
he played that RR24 for a very long time and almost exclusively, not counting the Jackson DK2M crackle he used
as backup at the time.
BTW: I have all 7 RR24 models lol.
I understand their ESP move, they're known for throwing shit tons of free guitars at endorsers.
I'd probably do the same thing, but in my heart is always Jackson. I am even saving up for a RR24 custom shop.
