Freebird 50: A thoroughbred under sail.

Recently returned from a transatlantic circuit and Mediterranean expedition with a family on board this boat is well equipped and in good condition. Since leaving Chichester in 2000, with a full overhaul and refit 2018, it has completed 4 Transatlantic crossings and the best part of 100,000 miles. It is a safe and stable vessel but is still light enough to sail well in gentle winds, tacking in virtually no wind. Sails happily at 9-11 knots, with a top speed of around 24 knots. This boat is a thoroughbred in catamaran design and is a tried and tested family cruiser. Last antifouled 2022.
