Don’t buy it!!!!! You know it’s not going to fit your taste and preferences so just let it go and buy something you know in your heart you will love ❤️ 🥰
So I have the Roen quad and the charlotte tilbury golden goddess (yes, I watch too much Lauren May Beauty also!). The earlier Roen quads are quite textured/glittery/flakey (some of the shades anyway) which is one of the reasons I don’t wear mine as much as I thought I would. They arent as every day and subtle as I thought thered be. The newer ones are more smooth and every day friendly. However, they are creams, and they do crease on me! So there may be things you’d like and things you wouldnt like, but on the whole, they probably arnt that worth the money for you. You probably have other shades that arnt creams, that give you exactly what you want. The charlotte tilbury one definitely isnt worth it. Its one of her older formulas that wasn’t that great (her newer and bigger palettes are better quality, but she is very much about that effortless, natural look, so again probably not your cup of tea). If you want to know more about Roen, Hannah Louise Posten did a very thorough review on them, deffo a good way of delving into the nitty gritty of just exactly what the heck are they, without having to buy them yourself! I highly recommend it as something to watch to satiete your curiosity! I deffo imagine myself as being way more adventurous and colourful than I am lol. I also forget I’m approahing 40 in a couple of years and dont go to clubs/watch live music/go to festivals anymore so wouldnt get much use out of crazy colourful makeup, unless I start wearing it to asda or to walk the dog. I’ve managed to resist the urge to buy many a rainbow palette just because all the colours look pretty in the palette. Have too been tempted by the mario palette, then I remember I have natasha palettes that have brown and grey mats in them and Im more of a shimmer eyeshadow girl anyway!! xx
P.S thanka for your Nabla glitter review, I deffo don’t need that and have been eyeing it up over the years! If you can feel it on your eyelids I definitely woukdnt like it xx
I love that red glitter on your eye! I was hoping you would start using that quad more, especially with holiday seasons approaching. Those lottie London eyeshadows are way more impactful than those roen quads and certainly cheaper. I could never do quads or those kaja stacks. I usually pull out more than one palette to do an eyelook. I love mixing and matching and having lots of options for a unique eye look plus it's just fun! I am a colorful girly through and through. None of the neutral or minimal makeup trends get to me. I hope it keeps up though because I am saving SO much money not buying any of the stuff that's been coming out 😂
I will say I do have a charlotte tilbury quad I got it in a subscription box and I will say the formula is nice but I agree that it fits more into the natural makeup esthetic but it is nice
I bought lip glosses and neutral brown eyeshadow palettes before I realized that is not my aesthetic. I love colorful eyeshadows and matte and liquid lipsticks. I wish I would have known that sooner but I won’t be buying anymore.
I panned 2 of those Elf Bite Sized palettes this year, in Pumpkin Spice and Berry Bad. 😊 They're so nice. Also, I'm really about colorful eye looks with bold blush and lips, sometimes neutral looks. But I actually go for more light to medium coverage base makeup and I don't wear lashes or mascara. 😂

Must resist the temptation!!

That's definitely a good thing about all these boring makeup releases... I can afford some nice meals out for a change haha

I've heard they're nice, but deffo not for me!
I used to have the drunk elephant bronze drops and they’re useless (just putting it out there 😇)

It's so annoying before you find your style!! At least you know now!

I love the elf palettes so much!!! Omg I couldn't live without my big lashes!! My natural lashes would thank me tho haha
This is so me with the master mattes I’d never use it ❤
I'm glad I'm not on my own with that one haha
I think if a brown can be warm or cooltoned, a gold can be warm or cooltoned😂
