I don't really comment that much because of my shakkkky hands. My neurosurgeon in Tucson spotted a tumor in my frontal lobe that shouldn't be there. This was 8 years ago. I had moved to the White Mtns in Az. and the hospital there is -0 on the scale. My blood/oncologogist moved on and to shorten all this, I made a decision to move . Just got back from Wisconsin and going to move into one of my sons homes, surrounded by hospitals and doctor offices. I will miss my great grandchildren and granddaughter immensely. I've been a widow for 29 years and right now I hate being a widow. Poor me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do know it could be a lot worse, for sure! SO, any way. Moving to Wi. is beautiful, removing tumor in head, and who knows about my spine. What i do know is C1-C8 is shot as I can't move my head for years. Who knows what else. I can't drive any longer because of m. y head, neck issue. Never ending Right Sandra! My friend Hang! xxxx sherill
I’ll be praying for your recovery. I was in a car wreck, hit by a drunken driver. Surgery took over 20 hours- with 2 orthopedist & 2 neuro surgeons. My whole spinal column was rebuilt with titanium- nuts, bolts & screws. My X-rays look as though I have an oil derrick attached to my hips. I was in a body cast for 6 months; I must admit it was like 1 year in hell ( maybe I shouldn’t be telling you this before your surgery.) My husband was told I may have difficulty walking…. That was 25 years ago- I’m walking fine, and it’s been remarkable I can do mostly anything, and I have No pain. The advancements in spinal / neuro surgery has been remarkable- I’m sure you’ll do great. ❤

Thanks Patti. Surgery was very successful. After the hospital I went to rehab. I’m now home and in recovery. Lots of sleeping, resting, pills for pain. 👍

Sandra, I left out one important part, My head tumor has grown substantially and needs to be removed soon according to my neuro surgeon. I don't drive because of my head and neck issue. It costs $600.00 to have a Taxi. I called many places and it was the same fee. My daughter is loosing her sight .so kind of batting 0... XXXO

Oh goodness Sandra. I’m waiting to hear from my Neurosurgeons Nurse on days for spinal surgery. (7th from spinal canal injury). I have a tumor compressing on my spinal cord at T10-T11. Iam scared as well. Oh I dread it. You are in my prayers. Yes, please find out what they will be doing. This tumor is growing really fast and causing paralysis again on left side. Are you in pain? Oh Iam in constant pain. You didn’t mention where it’s located and or if it’s causing pain and that’s why you went in? Prayers sweet Sandra.

I've been missing you, even tho I'm a new follower. Ofcourse I will wait for you. I have a terrible back, and I'm interested in this surgery. I just retired from St Jude Medical Center in Fullerton. I worked on the Orthopedic floor. One of the many surgeries performed there is back surgery of all kinds. The patients seem to do great. You will be fine. I would look into surgery for myself for this terrible back but I'm a cardiac patient, post triple bypass and I am very hesitant to go under the knife again as they say. Bless you. You have tons of well wishes coming your way! I have to ask, how did they find this, did you have symptoms? I had a herniated disc and they told me, surgery is the very last thing you ever want to do. And this was
They found this a long time ago but it had grown and needed to be removed from my spinal cord before it harmed me.
You will be missed BUT know that you are in my thoughts and prayers!! You're a lovely strong lady, just get better and don't worry about anything but YOU!!!!

You're right. I feel fortunate that they found it and are dealing with it. But it's still scary.
@@SandraSallin I may need neurosurgery too in my future, so I do understand your fears. And certainly a long time away from your lovely husband. Put a circle on your calendar for a month after the date of the surgery and focus on how by then you will be home and done.

I've been missing you, even tho I'm a new follower. Ofcourse I will wait for you. I have a terrible back, and I'm interested in this surgery. I just retired from St Jude Medical Center in Fullerton. I worked on the Orthopedic floor. One of the many surgeries performed there is back surgery of all kinds. The patients seem to do great. You will be fine. I would look into surgery for myself for this terrible back but I'm a cardiac patient, post triple bypass and I am very hesitant to go under the knife again as they say. Bless you. Please let us know how you are. My prayers are with you.
