The one shitty thing about the voice acting is how each line clashes with the other. Like they were recorded seperately and then mashed together poorly. Even if you thought MvC3 was cheese and lame all the voice clips actually sounded good. Here they sound awful. Spider-Man's level 3 is the perfect example of this here. The voice clips are voiced poorly enough but the way the lines are mashed together. It's like Saban (Power Rangers) wrote them

It's a combination of factors because UMVC3 had the same thing ultimately. 1.) The game looks bad. Cheesy dialogue is cheesy but it's a lot easier and more acceptable hearing the cringe lines from characters who don't look hyperrealistic. It's just as bad when you have the Capcom characters who are supposed to look more toon-esque say lines. 2.) The characters sound bored. If anyone goes back to play UMVC3 they can hear it. The voice actors sounded like they actually cared. Here it sounds like some voice clips were just done to get by. Case in point. Listen to your boy Nova in just casual game play. "Eat this. Take That! You like that!". He sounds like he's serving you the ass whoping of a life time. In Infinite it sounds like he took an ambien. The worst by fair is Gamora which sounds the worst. 3.) The lines and pacing of lines done poorly. If the lines weren't cringe enough the lines are just bad. For many different reasons. Ghost Rider and Strange for whatever reason are stating who they are and what they do. The worst of all is SpiderMan. Just listen to the string of dialogue. It's trash

There’s so much competitions next year with insanely hyped up fighting games like Dead or Alive, Soul Caliber, Jump Force... Capcom needs a massive visual overhaul to pull people in. Lackluster roster was only part of the reasons the game failed, bad presentation was the other thing they need to fix.
