Thank you for this beautiful footage. This gave me a glimpse of what it would like to come there. I can't believe that there are so many negative comments! God bless you for sharing this, many of us wil never be able to experience this, so to see this is a blessing.
Been to Maldives 5 times at different resorts - some very expensive and some reasonably priced, and yes UK plugs which worked for me since I'm from there. The dry season is January to April - I've been there in Feb and March.
I don't understand the hate against the guy. I thought he did an alright review. He listed options for where to stay. Tips on the plugs and bringing drones. He spoke about things that he did and made recommendations. What more do people want?
im a maldivian, and i worked in 3 resorts.. as far as i know drones are not illegal. you can fly your drones but, u cant disturb other guest by invading their privacy ( cannot be flown over other guests rooms).
As an electric/electronic and travel lover, I really enjoyed the video. I always wondered how do electric and electronics systems work in those Island resorts. Thanks for opening the door near to the entrance of the bunglow. Even had reserched a lot about it, I never find any information.
Joao Luiz his video is incorrect .. what he pointed out as an électrique générateur was the pools water pump and it’s water filter... they mostly get electricity by solar energy!
For your information, the products are mostly imported. However, they are not only from India but also many other countries as well. We try to give the best quality products and services to all the tourist visiting our contry. So next time when giving out any information , I recommend cross checking the facts
Don’t know about Maldives now but you need your Part 107 sUAS license in the US with a quad that size. It’s very handy to have, yes I’m still working on mine, as you learn about wind. And relative humidity, barometric pressure, and practically everything weather related. And then you have to know a lot of actual Pilot information!
Beach bungalow was the best..closer to the the bar ! Been in 5 star rooms in my flying days around the world..small bungalow and roll out of bed and lay on the sand with a drink
Literally the least informed video. Wet season is April to November not the other way around. Your point about it 'not being that hot' in April is invalid as the Maldives is a nation that spans the equator, which means that the temperature year round is pretty steady, usually 28-32 celsius and never straying too far from that.
Those water Villas are BEAUTIFUL BUT erecting them did SOOO much destruction to the coral reef that was most likely 100's of years old. VERY expensive price to pay for luxury.... Literally death of living coral reef 😢😥😓 This would explain the lack of Sea life in the glass floors in those Villas
You don't even know if there was even a coral Reef there where it was built. Or if they actually helped the coral Reef in the area either. Pretty ignorant on ur part

We always go for more then 14 days, you need that to unwind and relax. But i think 14 days is to much for Maldives.. Should do a stay at sri lanka and then 7-8 days maldives. We are thinking about seychelles, better for 14 days i think
gonna be honest, you wanna know more about the maldives? just try and befriend locals and and learn great ways to spend your time here after asking your tour guide or pick up a travel book on the flight also you can get them from the airport as soon as you get out the arrivals. i swear as a maldivian i’m gonna be honest i’m offended 🤷🏽♀️💁🏽♀️ seriously. our country is much more than vlogs tbh. 🤦🏽♀️. anyways it was entertaining to watch your vlog tho

Do you know anything about the Maldives? April to November is the dry season? No its bloody not. Its the wet season and perhaps the cheapest time to visit but the weather is a gamble. The temps are still good and the water is still nice and warm. The dry season is November to April. The prices go through the roof during this period. I hope this guy is a better trader than he is a tourist because he was dishing out some shit advice here!
Been there enough times to know that the rainy and windy summer monsoon in Maldives, named "Halhangu" in Dhivehi ( Maldivian language ), often starts around late April/May and reaches its peak around July / August. I doubt any local would tell you that April to November is the dry season. The monsoon rains arrive EVERY year in late April/Early May. Read it here in black and white. www.maldivesholidays.org/maldives-weather
If you want just the beautiful beaches and amazing turquoise waters, then Maldives...but if you want to see temples, cultures, waterfalls and beaches then it is Bali - however Bali was congested with motorcyclists and the beaches don't look that great - I would go to Lombok rather than Bali but that is my opinion in what I've experienced
@Marcello: Coming to Clip 09:17 I heard you say"Every thing is imported mostly from INDIA which makes it more expensive because things do not work very well" would you mind sharing more details and facts to support your claim so that us audience can be rest assured it is a fact and not a baseless statement.
+Marcello Arrambide Ha Ha I might as well google thinks to know before visiting Maldives to get accurate information no offence meant but accuracy in information is always appreciated
Less than 13% of goods imported into the Maldives comes from India. The Maldives trades with countries from all over the world. Its largest import partners are UAE, Singapore and China.
But most of the resorts use local stuffs so guest can have more local taste. Things like salmon, shrimps, prawns and etc(which are not availabe in maldives) are imported. So dont listen to stupit people's advice
Thank you for awesome and informative video ! A Professional video ! A big big love for the creative video thumbnail ! Maldives is a country of beautiful islands. The airport is on an island and main city (Male) is on another island. There are regular ferry service between airport island and main island. The hotel (Somerset Inn), we stayed, was very good in hospitality. It is very easy to change US dollars in the country, it is slightly not easy to change other currencies. Banks at airport at departure will only change the remaining Rufiyaa (which was exchanged during arrival). Streets in main city are very narrow. Bikes are mostly parked on the streets. The taxi can be hired for local transportation. To go to other islands, ferry service (which are relatively cheaper than private speed boats) can be used. Male island is highly populated but other islands do not have much of population. There are private island and private resorts as well.
the average Indian as per GDP per capita is worth less than 2000$. So, 1000$ is huge for approx 80% of the population. It is one thing to be proud of your country and another to claim false things to inflate your ego.
Este video no lo tienes en español, y justo dices todos los precios que seria muy interesante la conformidad en relacion precio calidad. Quise poner los sibtitulos pero solo estan escritos en inglés, eso se puede modificar, o sea agregar subt en español o no?
knique4ever December is actually considered as a high season period! so it would be a bit pricier. But best thing about Maldives is the all year around the weather is great!
Nafha Nazim hmm, i just wanted to go during my birthday month and I will be traveling solo. so I want to find a resort that has lots of activities. I father the Maldives doesn't have much of a night life.
Marcello Arrambide so what do you mean by all inclusive and by any chance how much was the hotel you stayed in in the name if you don't mind me asking?
Aries lov3 when i went to the Maldives, all inclusive just meant food was included in the larger price, as well as most drinks included too. It really just depends on the hotel and what they're offering
Bro, you paid $600 for a cab to the island? We wouldn't dream of paying that for any cab ride here in the US. That alone will keep me from visiting that place. There are so many beautiful places in the world I can visit without dealing with idiots looking to take me for a fool. Please tell me you got ripped off...
600 for the water taxi this guy got ripped off!!! And these resorts aren’t worth the money you can spend one fourth of this amount or less at other beach resorts.
LMAO I got randomly recommended this and it's like 5 yrs old 😂 still watched tho thank goodness I love travel

The temps are still good and the water is still nice and warm. The dry season is November to April. The prices go through the roof during this period. I hope this guy is a better trader than he is a tourist because he was dishing out some shit advice here!
+Kev Farthing Global warming changes the weather I guess. The locals I guess don't know what they are talking about
Been there enough times to know that the rainy and windy summer monsoon in Maldives, named "Halhangu" in Dhivehi
( Maldivian language ), often starts around late April/May and reaches its peak around July / August. I doubt any local would tell you that April to November is the dry season. The monsoon rains arrive EVERY year in late April/Early May. Read it here in black and white.

Would you recommend Maldives or Bali for honeymoon?
If you want just the beautiful beaches and amazing turquoise waters, then Maldives...but if you want to see temples, cultures, waterfalls and beaches then it is Bali - however Bali was congested with motorcyclists and the beaches don't look that great - I would go to Lombok rather than Bali but that is my opinion in what I've experienced
It’s Bora Bora but in the Indian Ocean.
how much cost dinner at sandbank ?
Can you bring a PS5 with you? Is the WiFi strong enough?
Yes it should be fine
up to 1,700 a night?... wow I thought they'd be like 20,000 a night. now ya gave me hope :D
Very well explain. Nice video, but how about safety?
There are local guest houses for like $50 per night
Keep it in America we have the Caribbean and Hawaii.

your so called generator is a water pump and a pool filter
Great video!! What’s the name of the resort and the room type?
What is the drone model and cost please ?
How much do they charge to take a ferry or transport from the airport to where you are staying???
very expensive 500+ USD
Roundtrip per person or each way?
I think it was one way
When you say “All Inclusive” I believe you actually mean “isolated”, because you can’t do a lot of exploring.
@Marcello: Coming to Clip 09:17 I heard you say"Every thing is imported mostly from INDIA which makes it more expensive because things do not work very well" would you mind sharing more details and facts to support your claim so that us audience can be rest assured it is a fact and not a baseless statement.
+piradeesh menon Google it
+Marcello Arrambide Ha Ha I might as well google thinks to know before visiting Maldives to get accurate information no offence meant but accuracy in information is always appreciated
So dont listen to stupit people's advice
can u give sand bank tour cost with lunch
I’m from Maldives 🇲🇻
It's expensive life
I'm from Maldives and I know all about it what do you even know
Your hotel look amazing my friend...im staying at the cinnamon hakuraa huraa, be there in december 30th -5th
Hakuaahurraa...........been there, swum there, fed the sharks and the fish there. Terrific.
Beautiful place. New support for you from London UK
Which island?
Thanks. I enjoyed that.
Hey man dont under estimated the spending power of indians ,1000$ doesnt matter to.most of the indians ,just that they r smart buyer !
the average Indian as per GDP per capita is worth less than 2000$. So, 1000$ is huge for approx 80% of the population. It is one thing to be proud of your country and another to claim false things to inflate your ego.
What is the name of the resort that you stayed at?
Which month you've recorded this vdeo Marcello? :)
I wanted to go during the month of December. is that considered the wet season? how is the weather during that time?
knique4ever December is actually considered as a high season period! so it would be a bit pricier. But best thing about Maldives is the all year around the weather is great!
Nafha Nazim hmm, i just wanted to go during my birthday month and I will be traveling solo. so I want to find a resort that has lots of activities. I father the Maldives doesn't have much of a night life.
when you stay at this hotel. is it all inclusive? like the meals? Thanks
+Majjjik1616 No that would actually cost the hotel money! Lol. Meals are extra.
There are affordable places. Local guest houses
Nope u have to pay more u r just paying for the rooms and for the meals are not included
I'm from Maldives
Thanks very nice
Thing I know: no religious freedom. Persecution and discrimination of anyone who isn't sunni muslim. Why would I want to travel there?
So the water is kinda blue.
There´s lots of other places with blue water ;-) AND Freedom...
"Freedom" yah keep at it with the wishful thinking buddy
im from maldives😎
What was the hotel name? Any link ?
Bro, you paid $600 for a cab to the island? We wouldn't dream of paying that for any cab ride here in the US. That alone will keep me from visiting that place. There are so many beautiful places in the world I can visit without dealing with idiots looking to take me for a fool. Please tell me you got ripped off...
Randomnoobi it’s not an actual “cab”. It’s a plane ($600) or boat (200-300ish) and that’s PER PERSON ONE WAY
Hey..wat's the name of this resort
600 for the water taxi this guy got ripped off!!! And these resorts aren’t worth the money you can spend one fourth of this amount or less at other beach resorts.
