  • It looks like this performed similarly to it's single motor counterpart with it having higher flow at the nozzle likely due to this one being in better shape and not missing the front glide. I did notice that I forgot to take a wand suction test.
It's overall a decent machine it makes good use of the airflow and suction it does have through a pretty efficient airpath It would be nice if a brushroll on/off switch was standard or perhaps a 3 position main switch. It does shut the brushroll off when it's stood upright due to a microswitch in the base.

That & my schools use the 215 version

@@EP05 Ah you've got one of the single motor versions, It should perform similarly to this as the spectrum 12p is a single motor and also performs quite similarly

@@Blackheartvacs I think it works exactly the same, the only difference would be the color, but yeah I’ve had it since 2016 & might be replacing it soon, I’ve actually been saving up for the dual motor version

    My ears are burning. 😁
But feel free to build my airflow box anytime. 👍

I think they make medicinal drops for that JK. Eventually I will I'm just lazy

Also a comment on the thing about the 1 switch & 2 motors, isn’t it technically like that on the Windsor Versamatic & Versamatic Plus? Along with other dual motor vacuums like one of those Tornado vacuums or Powr-Flite/Sandia?

Yes it is like that on the windsors i'm unfamiliar with the others listed. I suppose it may be a minority that allows a shutoff on commercial machines

Now that I'm looking back, how did you add the switch for the brush motor? We're there certain connections?

So the wire coming from the power nozzle motor was a piggyback style meaning there was an additional male space coming off it which the female space from the main motor would plug into. I cut the wire leading to the power nozzle motor added a space connector which I then fed into a new switch I then attached a short length of wire to the cut end of the PN wire so that the brushroll switch would only work when the main switch was on.

@@Blackheartvacs ah, that will be hard for me to remember lol, I'm actually doing this experiment where I'm converting my single motor 112 vacuum into a dual motor vacuum just like this one, the brush motor is already on its way along with a new base cover & I'm still trying to see if I'd also need a different suction motor or not yet (I'm working off only the parts I can afford since they were on sale)

@@EP05 That shouldn't be too hard really you just need 2 wires coming off the main switch which you'd either want to crimp 2 wires into one spade connector or find a piggback connector one goes to the main motor the other goes into a 2nd switch for the brushroll.

@@Blackheartvacs I think the 1 spade part might be easier because I have no idea how to connect it to the motor, I don't even know if the main motor mine has is the same as this one, I've tried searching for days to see if there's a different motor type or if I'd need to remove the roller part from the main motor but I can't find anything
