Usually when those comments appear, it's because the video also mentions MRT's efficiency. It would be silly to comment about these things here. Anyway, the MRT is still very efficient, and it has greater than 99.95% uptime during its working hours over a long period of time (>5 years) taken as the sample. You're either baiting or just angry for no real reason.
Haha... I have lived in several countries and I am still going to tell you that Singapore really does have one of the best public transportation system in the world. Disruption can occur but the up time is basically 99.9%. This kind of disruption is always huge because many people depend on it but it also underscore just how important it is because no system - not cars, not even just buses, and certainly not some American style, build more roads! is ever going to be as good as trains - in moving large number of people. It's like an airplane crash, it's always a huge news because of how bombastic it is when it happened but you are far far more likely to get into a car accident as a passenger, driver or pedestrian than ever in an airplane crash. If maintenance was not done well, then there needs to be an autopsy report on how to make it better but the fact that a lot of people are complaining here really showed that you people are really 生在福中不知福.
