I just flown with EVA Air this past weekend from LAX to Manila via Taipei in Economy Class. Food is good specially the Congee for breakfast and flight was great with minimal turbulence. Highly recommend EVA Air for long haul flights. thanks for this video! 😊

Watching from west coast USA - I've taken this very flight a few times (yes, the 1:00 AM departure from SFO). EVA Air has always delivered on solid service and my overall experiences have been good. From on time departures, the tasty food, and very professional staff, I will definitely fly EVA again. I do agree the in-flight entertainment lacks in the movie options, and the interface feels a bit dated too. It could use an update.

I took that flight in January, 2030 in Premium Economy. Okay flight. I really didn't get any sleep. The food was basic economy with added alcohol and a mid-flight small sandwich. Back then it was out of G Gates. I see EVA has switched to the A Gates.

I had the same question. I plan on leaving San Francisco on a late flight on a Monday night and I was wondering when I would arrive in Taipei. I figured it would be on Wednesday morning. Is there an easy way to calculate how many hours you need to add on top of the flight time??

So if you’re flying out from SFO Monday on Red eye flight maybe will leave around 12am (technically already Tuesday) so you will arrive around Wednesday morning in Taipei. So that’s around 14hrs flight time. Local time +14hrs but since we have 15hrs difference that’s why it feels that we skip one day. Hope this helps 😇
I just returned from Da Nang to SFO via EVA, my first time flying this airline. Of course, I chose it over Korean Air and Cathay Pacific because it was safer, but the food sucked big time. Perhaps, the food was better with Cathay Pacific because I was in Premium Economy. Despite that, the flight attendants are much more polite than those from Cathay Pacific.

Hello. Thanks for watching this video. Yesss, it was quite easy navigating around terminals. This flight specifically I had to navigate from T2 to T3. I must say that this airport is huge so make sure to look around for signs
I choose to travel Eva air last month because of the reviews that I read from various platforms. So I had high expectations but Eva air failed to meet my expectations. 1. The airplane is old- I can’t charge my iPhone 2. No toiletries given- I was thinking if PAL can provide that ( I was in economy)why can’t they? 3. Food is not that great 4. Not a very friendly service- always in a hurry, dismissive, and borderline- “don’t care just want to finish this flight” 5. No customer service that will pick up the phone here in Chicago. Mind you I called multiple times for weeks! Different times and different days. So, basically I understand that different traveler will experience differently. But remind yourself- don’t get high hopes!

In-flight movies & tv has become more limited unfortunately, otherwise EVA is a great airline for flights across the Pacific.
