Si mas adelante deciden cambiar la cronologia y hechos, lo haran oficial en alguna publicacion o proyecto macross posterior, pero hasta el momento eso es lo oficial.
this game kicks so much ass. not only does the music kick ass, but the story is accepted as official macross cannon. plus you have access to almost every valkyrie in the macross universe with the exception of very few. its not without its flaws though, but i easily looked past those because i had a blast playing it.
i also rembered that my favorite plane/robot was the one who is in the water in the video. although it wasn't the coolest looking, it definitely was efficient! its two guns makes it very reliable. i also remebered that the title on each stage are english movies or novels or something like that like "sing-ging in the rain (it sounded that way in the game!)" & "moby dick".

i liked the armored VF-11 and excalibur. you always play the game as aegis focker, however out of the wingmen you get i prefer suzie. tohma was a bit too weird for me.
honestly the music is why robotech has been cursed with never being able to finish anything. they match probably the best mecha fighting with freakin minmei singing. i dont know why its so difficult to separate awesome giant robot fighting from supreme gayness (evangelion, im talking to you)
Yeah, that was a letdown, and I was hopeful when EGM announced it was coming. Graphics in the opening are cool. Poor thing, that tank that got squished by the VB-6.
Point of logic:WHY would you update an outdated plane, even for testing? It would be like putting an advanced stealth system on a F-4 instead of a F/A 22, which could benefit MUCH more than the F-4 could. I'm not comparing VFs to today's aircraft, but using them as a paradigm of old and new. Besides, Miria STILL got her VF-1 trashed, but then when she and Max got VF-22s, & they OWNED everyone else through superior fighters and skills, like Dyson did in the VF-11b, then even more in the YF-19!!
lol, if there was a squadron like this, I would hate to be the guy piloting the outdated Valkyries like the VF-1 and 11B. That's like flying a F-4 Phantom in a squadron that has planes like the F-35 and F/A 22s. Seriously, there's no logic (other than fan-appeal) as to why they would fly a VF-1 along with a AVF-19/22. The AVF jets alone could take out capital ships, let alone all the rest of their squadron in the blink of an eye with the right pilots.

Yes, its design remember a heli biplane, got twin arm mounted machine guns; you could play almoat any mission on it.
