@@bouzz4840 Amen! I'm thinking they combine tyler's synths and other instrumentation with some of TOP's more happy song styles. Though I wouldn't mind hearing Tyler, the Creator rap over a hip hop beat version of HeavyDirtySoul.
Tyler has three things I love. 1. He has a clue, meaning that he has his priorities right, how he goes about his music, everything. 2. he writes a narrative with his songs, his records. It’s been fun to follow Blurryface and Trench, but even vessel and Self Titled have their own little theme and story. 3. he has Pokémon figurines all over his home recording studio and didn’t bother to adjust them when doing a professional interview. That shows him being a real man right there.

there’s never going to be another twenty øne piløts. tyler and josh have something special that can’t be replicated and it is so special and i’m so grateful to be living in the moment along with their music.
Somehow after loving these guys for years I've never actually heard Tyler speak normally. He talks the way that I do. Very quiet and awkward and he takes a fair amount of time to construct his sentences and these are all things that I do and am quite insecure about so seeing someone I look up to speaking the same way is cool to me.
Is it just me, or is Tyler one of the most grounded artists you've ever seen? He's an oasis in an artistic desert of ego and banality. I think that applies to Josh, too. I am so psyched for this album to drop.
That's what distinguishes the moneygrabber mainstream "artist" from a real artist. Having the depth of mind, the capability for reflection, the ability to confront your inner demons, calling them out and seeing them for what they are, the empathy to see yourself in relation to others and caring about what happens to them, the drive to break down a seemingly simple thing to its core and make others see better and finally the talent to tell these findings in an artistic way, creating a beautiful piece while making the world a better place. Put all of that into one person and you have Tyler Joseph. Thanks for existing man, it's been a blast and I can't wait for what's coming next.

Marissa Meneses YESSS OMG I cant wait for the videos of Tyler and his baby playing the piano together and Jenna laughing from behind the camera it’s gonna be so beautiful
Love how after 31:00 it's not even an interview anymore. They are just both having a fun conversation and it shows how much Zane Lowe admires Tyler as a person and artist. Then on the flip side, it shows how much Tyler respects and trusts Zane Lowe as well.
i love this because zane is caught up and isn’t asking repetitive questions that most interviewers ask, he knows enough to ask good questions and delve deeper and learn more about trench and dema and blurryface and i love it
Interviewer: WhaT iS a BluRryFAce? ._. Tyjo: no it's WHO is blurryface Interviewer: * turns to jish * whAt iS a blURryFacE? Jish: um- Tyjo: IVE ALREADY CORRECTED YOU ITS *WHO* IS A BLURRYFACE Oh people just listen to tyjo ._.
I was telling my dad about TØP's new music vids and about the story behind Blurryface, and his words were, "Wouldn't it be interesting if we found out that the fans began writing the story instead of the group? What if TØP started the idea, but as time went on, they secretly started getting ideas from fans and incorporating them into the storyline?" Then I heard 9:52 and was shocked at what I heard.
The question he asks Tyler at 12:44 really impacted me. As someone living with mental illness, you really do have to “develop tools in order to function”. Things impact us differently and we have to build a way to co-exist with these twisted versions of ourselves every single day. It’s much bigger than Blurryface... we face Dema and the Trench.
And that's the beauty of being an introspective individual. You may be a little quiet and introverted, but you spend a lot more time getting to know yourself, and your thoughts.
yeah that is something i struggle with i cant ever put my emotions or thoughts into words. I'm sure that comes with all his lyrical work, all the writing and expression probably helps
Absolutely loved this interview, and for many reasons: A: It's Twenty-One Pilots related, duh B: Tyler's smile gives me life and C: The interviewer actually asked intellectual questions and connected with Tyler, rather than asking stupid questions like "wHaT's a dEmA?" (/Blurryface)
THE INTERVIEWER WAS AMAZING LIKE??? He actually asked the right questions and was patient and let Tyler talk without interrupting him and I'm really thankful like.. WOW other interviewers should at least try to be like that too
not gonna lie, i’m going to be so sad when tyler stops creating. i think my heart will shatter. or maybe it’ll be like the end of a really good tv series with a satisfying ending. i hope so. also, tyler mentioned being good at compartmentalizing. i am not. but tøp’s music has helped me do so. maybe not completely. but i know they’ve stopped so many awful thoughts from intersecting so many times. they helped me create a room where i can freely feel without having to feel like it’s wrong to do so. i love you tyler and josh. & thanks for this interview. i’m glad we can all connect with tyler once again.
i don't think you have much to worry about. i think TOP might have a certain shelf life; i hope not, but they might. But it seems to me that Tyler is evolving musically, rather than peaking at the height of his popularity. He is inspired by the act of creation itself, not by the pursuit of success (at least not anymore), and this inspiration seems very pure and enduring to me. Even if TOP were to end, I don't see Tyler ever stopping this evolution or the process of creation, I just hope he continues to release his music publicly even if the project is under a different name, or under no name
I would have thought it would be the other way around. That the warning was for the clique about the general public being heathens. Help me to understand better.
out of all of the interviews tyler has ever done, this is the first one i've seen where he really addresses his faith and spirituality without fully shying away from that. i'm happy for that, full respect
once tyler started talking about jenna his face lit up and he started talking so much faster than before and all of his words just came to him naturally..she really helps him.
I've heard so many artists say "we wouldn't be here if it weren't for our fans," But how Tyler phrases it and the sincerity behind it really just makes me cry... This music literally helped me through so much, and still does when I get anxiety attacks or anything. If I feel discouraged, I listen to a tøp song. The music saved my life. I can't even explain it. I feel so connected with the music, and the feelings and emotion behind it. Hearing Tyler say that he watches the fans and hearing him tell us that we helped in a way towards Trench... It hits me so hard. I love twenty øne piløts, and I always will. Tyler and Josh's presence in the world of music truly is a blessing, and I don't think I would be here without them. If I was here, I would've sank much deeper into what I was being absorbed by, and I don't want to think about what that could have been. It was actually Oh Ms Believer that I heard first by them, and I didn't really listen to the lyrics the first time. I liked the song's sound, so I played it again. The second time, the lyrics sunk in, and I broke down. I don't know if it was a sign, but I like to believe it was. That song made me realize how messed up I was, and I told myself that I needed to stop where I was heading. It has been 3 years since then, and I haven't improved completely, but I'm better, and not as depressed and--I'm going to say it-- Suicidal as I was then. I still go through hard times, we all do. I may have worse of a time than my friends and the people around me, but I'm working on it. Twenty øne piløts's music has played such a huge role in my decisions, and it's led me up and away from the road of darkness, and I'm now heading towards a lighter scene. I really hope Tyler knows just how much he's helped people. It isn't something I'm just saying for attention. I know he will most likely never see this comment. But I don't care. I've said it now. Twenty øne piløts is something crucial to me, and I hope they know that. I hope they REALLY know that. Not just that everyday thing that says "You're someone's reason to smile!" Because that's not deep enough. That is not what I'm saying. What I'm trying to say is something I can't explain with words. I have so much gratitude for Tyler and Josh, what they've done, and what they continue to do. And even though I'm not in a perfect place myself, I want everyone to Stay Street, and Stay Alive, because we're all worth it ||-//
Bella Means I understand what you mean. I also listen to their music when I'm feeling anxious or depressed and it always helps. Stay alive, stay alive for me and for everyone and for yourself.
You've taken most words from my mouth. I agree with you so much. Their music has helped me as well and even now. Specially now. Things have gotten harder for me lately so this album is really helping me work through it. Tyler and Josh are brilliant and amazing, and I just can't wait to hear the whole album in one sitting. I could say more, because there is a lot more but I'll leave this comment simple.
Can we talk about that whole boat metaphor with jenna. it's amazing how much they love each other and i hope i have that with someone some day. also how is he so talented with words? it really blows me away

Love how after 31:00 it's not even an interview anymore. They are just both having a fun conversation and it shows how much Zane Lowe admires Tyler as a person and artist. Then on the flip side, it shows how much Tyler respects and trusts Zane Lowe as well.
When he talked about Jenna...

i love this because zane is caught up and isn’t asking repetitive questions that most interviewers ask, he knows enough to ask good questions and delve deeper and learn more about trench and dema and blurryface and i love it
Interviewer: WhaT iS a BluRryFAce? ._.
Tyjo: no it's WHO is blurryface
Interviewer: * turns to jish * whAt iS a blURryFacE?
Jish: um-
Tyjo: IVE ALREADY CORRECTED YOU ITS *WHO* IS A BLURRYFACE
Oh people just listen to tyjo ._.

THERE IS A POKEBALL TOO, OMG
I was telling my dad about TØP's new music vids and about the story behind Blurryface, and his words were, "Wouldn't it be interesting if we found out that the fans began writing the story instead of the group? What if TØP started the idea, but as time went on, they secretly started getting ideas from fans and incorporating them into the storyline?"
Then I heard 9:52 and was shocked at what I heard.
TYLER JOSEPH IS THE CUTEST HUMAN ALIVE
That metaphor about his wife was the sweetest thing
I loved the part where he spoke about Jenna, I'm smiling from ear to ear.
It was priceless. He's a perfect example of a good husband.
@@jenelchandler8806 completely agree!
He talks about his thoughts in such a deep, inspirational, and educated. It's so beautiful honestly.
And that's the beauty of being an introspective individual. You may be a little quiet and introverted, but you spend a lot more time getting to know yourself, and your thoughts.
yeah that is something i struggle with i cant ever put my emotions or thoughts into words. I'm sure that comes with all his lyrical work, all the writing and expression probably helps
someone needs to make a compilation of him smiling
ryder They already have
where?
ryder you would have to look it up but I know that people have done it begore
Absolutely loved this interview, and for many reasons:
A: It's Twenty-One Pilots related, duh
B: Tyler's smile gives me life
and
C: The interviewer actually asked intellectual questions and connected with Tyler, rather than asking stupid questions like "wHaT's a dEmA?" (/Blurryface)
local dreamer “who is dema?”
local dreamer and I like your name
This is the content we've been waiting for 😭
Saaame! Interviewers should do it more often
Zane is generally really good at interviews
He’s so philosophical and calm... what an inspiration to us all
THE INTERVIEWER WAS AMAZING LIKE??? He actually asked the right questions and was patient and let Tyler talk without interrupting him and I'm really thankful like.. WOW other interviewers should at least try to be like that too
Fr! I was so satisfied to see him genuinely being interested in the questions and the answers
He is friends with Tyler and Josh for years now lol.
His voice is so relaxing
COCONUT COCONUT SHARKS IN THE WATER (I listened to that song earlier today xD)
Tyler fills me with hope, inspiration and comfort. I love this band so much man. Can't wait for the album. Great interview tho.
I fully agree with you twenty one pilots is everything and more

So true! I resonate to nearly everything he says and does- its incredible ! :)
not gonna lie, i’m going to be so sad when tyler stops creating. i think my heart will shatter. or maybe it’ll be like the end of a really good tv series with a satisfying ending. i hope so. also, tyler mentioned being good at compartmentalizing. i am not. but tøp’s music has helped me do so. maybe not completely. but i know they’ve stopped so many awful thoughts from intersecting so many times. they helped me create a room where i can freely feel without having to feel like it’s wrong to do so. i love you tyler and josh.
"can I talk about her for sec" awww my heart 💛💛💛
Erm so Heathens is basically a warning to the general public about the clique
*THAT MAKES IT SO MUCH BETTER*
We knew that already tho?
I would have thought it would be the other way around. That the warning was for the clique about the general public being heathens. Help me to understand better.
Yus! I was right! I knew it was for us!
All my fans are heathens take it slow
we got new fans over here

out of all of the interviews tyler has ever done, this is the first one i've seen where he really addresses his faith and spirituality without fully shying away from that. i'm happy for that, full respect
once tyler started talking about jenna his face lit up and he started talking so much faster than before and all of his words just came to him naturally..she really helps him.
"she's the best thing i've accomplished"

i actually didnt realise just how much i missed hearing and seeing this beautiful man during the hiatus.
i love how he talks about Jenna. Like she is his everything. She is always with him. Like she is the biggest part of him. I love that.
in conclusion , Tyler loves Jenna more than anything

TYLERRR HIS LITTLE FACeeEee
23:11 hearing him openly talk about this subject without being forced to is something i didn't know I needed
Bella Means huge facts. couldn’t say it better. love these dudes and could thank them forever.
